I have been to the Madras Dosa corner a couple of times and all the dishes I have had by far are delish. The owners and servers are polite, helpful and served us hot sambar when the one served to us was cold. Vegetarian and non vegetarian flare here is scrumptious and a filter coffee helps to chug it all down. Plenty of parking spots available. Do reach ahead of time for securing a spot, there's always waiting! (Especially in case of larger groups)

We reached there 7 mins after it opened, and there were people seated and ordering!! Within minutes the place became full and super busy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambience is quite minimalist.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The menu is vast with adequate options in both veg and non veg to choose from. The food was delicious. We ordered idli (tasty, light), filter coffee (okayish), chicken roast (bone in pieces, yummy prep, flavorful), podi ghee masala dosa (tasty but potato was relatively a bit less), benne dosa (flavorful), onion rawa dosa and ghee masala rawa dosa (tasty and very filling). Service was a bit slow but to be fair it was very busy. Had a great experience, would like to try out more of their food items in future.

The service is pretty quick, and prices are great for the serving size of the dosas. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is not much but that's not why you go to places like this you go for the dosas![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There were over 100 types of dosas. Maybe I just didn't get the right one for myself, but I didn't like the mysore paneer masala dosa that much. I did like the curry leaf masala dosa though. Maybe it's because I don't drink too much coffee but the filter coffee was really really better. I had to add at least two packets of sugar to make it drinkable. Might go again just to try the other types of dosas see if there are others that I liked.

Always a favorite spot but with recent visit, do see a change in the quality. The ghee podi dosa is always a favorite and still continues to be so. However other items aren't as flavorful. Ordered the ghee podi mini idlis and podi lacked salt and taste. Sambaar was hot and delicious. Vada and sambar combination was really good. Aloo bonda wasn't as tasty this time around and even the service was very slower than usual. Highly recommend ghee podi dosa, sambaar rice and filter coffee out of the entire menu.

I like this place! Excellent food. Come here with friends who order everything and I just eat and enjoy. The paper dosa is huge - so fun! The regular masala dosa is my go to. Also large and so delicious with the chutneys. Service is fast as well. Definitely give this place a try!

Visited Madras Dosa Corner for lunch over a weekday. It was not very busy (as it is usually for dinner and over weekends). We ordered their Plantain Bajji, Combo 1 (Idly, Vada, Kesari and Mini Masala Dosa), Combo 2 (Pongal, Vada and Dosa), Keema Mutton Dosa, Chicken Kothu Parotta and Tea. The Plantain Bajji was fantastic - hot, flavorful, not oily and freshly made - exactly how you get in Tamil Nadu. Items on both the combos were great, freshly cooked, and delicious. The Mutton Keema Dosa was the best; it was made with egg and minced goat curry. The minced goat curry was delicious - not too spicy and goes very well with pretty much any thing. It was the highlight of our whole meal. We got the Chicken Kothu Parotta as take out (couldn't take pictures). The Kothu Parotta was more on the spicier side. The Chai (tea) was fresh and flavorful, goes very well with the hot Plantain Bajji. Overall great lunch and will definitely visit again. Thank you for the great service!

Everything is good! Just great food, presentation may not be amazing but flavor is on point. Was well recommended and was shocked to find the place totally full 15 mins after opening. Massive dosas that are sure to impress. A must try! Notably there's a yogurt drink with herbs (neer moru), it was interesting. Not sure I would get it again as I'm pretty unfamiliar with the taste but everyone else was getting it so I gave it try. It's like tart with a taste of green onion in it.

We tried the mini idlis in sambar and they were hot and tasty, though the sambar was a bit too sweet for my liking. The veg kothu paratha was flavorful, but the texture was unexpected, more like a mashed-up upma. The service was good. This place is ideal for breakfast or tiffin items. Will definitely try their Dosa's and filter coffee next time. Price: Mini Idli in Sambar: $9 (Serves 1) Veg Kothu Paratha: $13.50 (Serves 2) Parking is Available.

Inside the dosas was a serving of seasoned potato and vegetable filling.

Just finished visiting the Troll over at Rainier Trail and were ready for dinner so we Yelped Indian food and found Madras Dosa Corner nearby with decent reviews so we went there. We were fairly inexperienced with ordering Dosas so the very nice waiter helped us a lot and recommended several things from the menu. We began with the Idli Vadai which was a donut shaped appetizer with a savory dipping chutney, then had the Onion Pakoda which was like french fried onions that you normally see on top of a green bean casserole for Thanksgiving. This also had a chutney dipping sauce with it. For our main courses, we had the Onion Rava Masala Dosa and a Mysore Masala Dosa. I believe the Mysore was the one that came triangle shaped and had some mild spice inside of it. Each dosa had a serving of potato and vegetable filling inside it which was tasty. The dosas came with 3 different chutneys as well. Then the server who brought out our food made a mistake and brought us out two other plain dosas that were meant for another table. We told the waiter when he came to check on us and he realized what had happened so he just compted those two extra dosas for us. Needless to say, we had a few leftovers good for another meal. This place had a fair amount of customers as we ate and service was pretty good for us. I liked the food as trying new things is one of my mantras this year and this was all new to me. It was fun to get something other than Tikka Masala or Tandoori meats for a change. I recommend trying this place.

**vegetarian review** I found madras dosa corner to be average. It's very reasonable prices and good portions but the flavours are off. Not the best sambar or chutney or podi. The service was quick but I prefer other South Indian places more.

Food is good but no one answers the phone, even when the place isn't busy. Makes it hard to get takeout.

What I love is that that flavors are distinct, fresh and not just one sauce used with each dish as so many other places. If you have never had good goat curry this is the place. Goat is the fastest growing meat category in the country, it is lean and quite healthful. Their goat curry is not to be missed with flavors that are marvelous and distinctive. All dishes may be ordered mild, medium and hot. There is inside and outside seating in season which is fun. It is casually decorated, accomodating children and families. The portions are large. I just found out on a recent visit that you can get a thali which is a terrific way to get various tastes but it is definitely large enough for two people to share. We used to patronize the Traveler's Thali House on Beacon Hill which closed years ago and I loved to get this combo. I would order this again for sure. Most of the time we take half our meal home to enjoy days later. Many other restaurants have oily food this place does not. I highly recommend you try it with friends. It really was beautiful in all areas and the music was authentic and the perfect volume. We ordered the tandoori chicken and it arrived at the table sizzling on the iron plate. It was the best we'd ever had, full of spices and fall off the bone tender. The server was great with tips and I liked that we could adjust the spiciness. Next was the lamb keema biryani. Again, excellent flavor and we loved the sauces served with it. The raita was just right. The garlic naan was fresh and hot. For dessert, we ordered the mango lassi, chai tea, and shared the rasmalai dessert. All excellent quality with perfect texture, temperature, snd sweetness. We were very impressed. The only reason I gave only four stars instead of an enthusiastic five, is because when we entered we were excited to sit down in the beautiful dining room to enjoy our first meal there. Instead we just kept going and were led further and further back until we reached the sports bar area and were seated with no one else around for the whole meal. There was seating available in the main dining room. It felt very isolated and detracted from our overall experience. We'll be back but next time we'll request to be seated with the general population. That aside, I highly recommend!

The Chicken 65 Biryani was delicious--packed with bold spices, slightly spicy, and just a tad too salty for my taste. Even so, it was incredibly flavorful and something I'd happily order again. It was my first time trying Lamb Sukka, and I absolutely loved it. The lamb was tender, juicy, and full of rich, aromatic flavors. This was definitely the standout dish, and I'll be ordering it again on my next visit. The plain naan was decent, but I was expecting it to be a little better. I was pleasantly surprised to see chilli bajji on the menu it's been a while since I've had it so I ordered a plate (comes with two chilies) along with a masala dosa. The green mint chutney served with the bajji was outstanding possibly the best I've had at any restaurant. The bajji itself was a bit cold, which was a letdown, but still decent. I just wish it had been served hotter. The masala dosa was very filling and tasted fresh, though it was also slightly cold. The aloo masala was nice; I was surprised to see peas in it, but it worked well overall. Both the chutneys and sambar were good, but the real highlight here is definitely the chutneys especially the mint and coconut, which might be the best I've had in Seattle. I also noticed a lot of people picking up food, which makes sense. I'd definitely come back again.

The appetizer section had a nice spread of salads and it was presented well. The gulabi dahi vada was unfortunately too sweet, and the inside was stiff and dry. The samosa chaat was nicely presented, and the samosa itself tasted good. They also had dhokla bites as an appetizer, but they did not have the texture of dhokla at all. Instead of being soft and fluffy, they were more grainy and doughy, and the taste was a bit strange. The paneer appetizer looked very bright, clearly colored with artificial coloring, and unfortunately it lacked flavor. The cut mirchi stuffing was good, but the peppers themselves were dry and cold. The gobi 65 was quite good. Among the curries, the kesariya egg curry was not good at all. The aloo tamata curry tasted like simple home cooked food. The palak paneer was good, and there was another creamy shahi paneer style curry which was okay. The naan seemed like it had been made when the buffet first started because it was cold when we tried it and not enjoyable. The restaurant started filling up around 12:30 to 1:00 PM. I waited for the next batch of naan and the fresh naan was much better. One issue with the restaurant layout is that the buffet setup is in the middle and feels very cramped. Once it got crowded, it was quite difficult to move around and access the dishes. On the positive side, they had a live counter for malpua with rabri and it was really good. The malpua was crispy and not overly sweet, which we liked. They also had gajar halwa and that dessert was very good as well. Overall, there was a large vegetarian spread for the buffet and the concept and presentation for Holi were nice. It looked beautiful, but unfortunately the taste of many dishes did not match the presentation. I drove about an hour from the north to get there, and personally it was not worth the drive. I would not recommend the buffet based on this experience.
