Food is varied and delicious. Meats are very tender. Some dishes were a little on the salty side so ask for less salt. Service super friendly and quick. Restaurant modern and really nice. Including the bathrooms! Looking forward to going back.

Too legit to quit! Friendly service, plenty of seating and fun vibe. The food was delicious, authentic and large portions for the price. I had the garlic fried chicken and the lo mein. Had a few cocktails that were a bit too sweet. Definitely will be returning next time we are in the area!

Went to Dan Gui for dinner with a friend and it was alright, Issaquah definitely needed a Chinese restaurant! We ordered Scallion pancakes and Cumin lamb with Sake. I was surprised to see Scallion omelet instead of pancake, nevertheless, it tasted ok. Cumin Lamb was so good, definitely ask for 4 stars, it wasn't that spicy.

best place in the great seattle area for bullfrog dishes, very authentic. I also have been to their bellevue location but I like the Issaquah one much better. More spacious and staffs are so friendly

Good price for the portion. My favourite dishes are Achoy and the stinky tofu. Other dishes met expectations

Super interesting cuisine. It's traditional Chinese dishes catered to the American palate, which means more salty and sugary. If you're unfamiliar. Ask the friendly staff.

Interior was nice and open, service was good. Ordered Mao Xue Wang, dry pot intestines and butterflied garlic shrimp. The dry pot came out quickly and had good seasoning albeit not crispy. Mao Xue Wang had a lot of sichuan peppercorns (which I love). Unseasoned tripe on the top went well with the intense broth. Blood was over cooked. Both the dry pot and mxw would be better with sliced ginger (constant at all the other spots I've tried this dish). Garlic shrimp took a long time to come out, got it for our son who just watched us eat our spicy dishes. It turned out to be bland (just intense garlic) and mushy as if the shrimp had been macerated.

This was a great surprise. Stopped in for lunch and wasn't sure what to order. Ended up sharing spicy pork and stir fried cabbage. Both were excellent. A bit pricy, but huge portions. These 2 dishes with rice would have easily fed 3. We've tried several scezhuan restaurants in the Bellevue area recently, and this might be the best.

The fried rice was very bland. Ambience is quite nice, with the designer finishes and all, but the overall layout and walking spaces feel somewhat weird to me. Service is acceptable, but feels a little in your face, or something I don't know, the vibe was a little off. I know I haven't tried their specialty Szechuan cuisine, and I should, but really haven't felt the desire to do so.

Their current location is much bigger and can accommodate their growing business and it's still quite convenient with public parking right around the corner. Dining in person and take out have both been fab. I love that they have dim sum all day. They used to do the carts but basically no one does that anymore. Instead, you order off a menu and they bring everything out fresh to you. We always order their pork shu mai, shrimp balls, baked bbq pork buns, potstickers, cilantro dumplings, sesame seed balls, egg tarts, and garlic green beans. But we've tried almost everything on their dim sum menu and it's all really good. We also usually get an order of mapo tofu or eggplant or beef chow fun off the regular menu too to supplement for a larger group. Service is excellent. We love the people who run this place. They are always super kind to our family and work really hard. They keep the hot tea coming and check in frequently. Not to mention the restaurant is always clean! Definitely come check out this place if you haven't already!

Honestly, the food was great and it came out pretty timely as well. All the non-soup dishes were the right mala, so be warned if anyone can't handle numbing/spice. The staff was extremely attentive from the beginning - checking in on us if we could handle spicy/mala, serving us the first bowl of soup, giving us extra napkins, and asking to change to clean plates. I would say that the parking, if packed, is troublesome as I would assume there are many people that would come here after work. It is right next to the T-Mobile office so I would say be wary of the parking. Other than that, we had a great time here and would invite more people to come.

It was, because Tasty House took over a former Chinese spot but improved on their quality. Ample parking in a good location. While they offer physical menus, they also have QR codes at each table for simple ordering online. We are accustomed to spots including rice with entrees so having to order it separately for an extra $2 per bowl feels bad. Items are large, so tailored for family style. Stir Fried Green Bean - as a green beans fanatic, my partner was a huge fan of the ones here. She liked these over our usual Canto spot which says a lot. The green beans themselves were fresh and cooked perfectly but the sauce was more flavorful than most. Very savory and lightly salty, not really spicy. Sweet and Sour Chicken - missing the onions and pineapple but a very sizable portion of large, tasty battered chicken paired with juicy and crunchy bell peppers. Definitely pair with some rice, there's a lot of sauce and a simple carb helps with balance. Shredded Pork with Sweet Bean Sauce - I was attracted by the steamed buns (gua bao), but the pork was tasty. A bit fatty and drenched in a savory, umami bean sauce, a simple carb like rice will help soak up sauce and balance flavors. There aren't enough buns for the meat, but they are a simple carb that balance out the meat and honestly, a refreshing change in flavor and texture.

Two of us came in at noon on a Sunday and we were seated immediately. A carafe of water with lemon was already placed on the table and we asked for a pot of tea which was complimentary. Out of their large menu, we selected three dishes which turned out to be a well-balanced meal. The food came out more quickly than expected and the portions were generous! While we polished off the vegetable dish, we had enough noodles and chicken for another serving. + CHONG QING HOT CHICKEN ($21.99): Small fried pieces of chicken came tossed in spicy seasoning and a ton of dried chili peppers. The online menu displays three pepper icons which I'd describe as accurate... I could definitely feel the heat! Despite the moderate tingling, I couldn't stop eating these as the outside was perfectly crispy, the chicken was juicy inside and the pieces weren't too salty either. I just wish the chunks of chicken were larger. Many of them were so small that it felt like I was eating just crust. + HOT & SPICY HAND SHAVEN NOODLES ($15.99): Really good! These noodles are hand-cut, so they come in a variety of lengths and thickness. I asked about the spice level on this dish and the waiter said it's between one and two stars, but you can ask them to make it spicier if you'd like. I personally didn't find them very spicy, especially not compared to the Chong Qing Hot Chicken! The noodles had a nice firm chew and the sauce was addicting too. For our meat option, we chose beef, which was super tender and thinly sliced. An ample amount of cabbage added some crunch. + STIR-FRIED GREEN BEANS ($15.99): These beans were so delicious and tossed with a ton of chopped garlic. This was not spicy at all, but full of flavor. We kept scooping more and more beans onto our plates. The employees who we interacted with were personable and as we packed our leftovers, we asked for a couple cups of hot water to end our meal. The waiter kindly brought them over and also gave us a heads up that the kitchen was closing in 10 minutes at 3:00P, just in case we wanted to order anything else. At 3:00P, the staff all take their lunch break and the restaurant opens back up at 5:00P for dinner. Given the various table sizes, this restaurant can accommodate groups of different sizes. There are many four-person tables, but also a couple larger tables in the front and what appeared to be a separate room behind two doors. I recommend Tasty House for a good local Szechuan spot! 4.25 stars.
