solid brunch spot in Issaquah! my auntie has been coming here for many years and we were craving American breakfast, so decided to come here. this restaurant appears small from the outside, but actually fits a lot of tables. When we walked in, almost all the tables were full and the dining room is shaped kind of like an L. There are booths and normal wooden tables. We were greeted by a host and sat down immediately upon entering. The majority of the tables in the restaurant were filled as well. That caused service to be pretty inattentive and slow. We didn't get to place our order for 10 minutes and it took another 40 minutes to come out. The server did apologize for this and explained there was a big party in the back, so there was grace for this as the staff members all seemed kind. We had ordered several dishes to share. Fun fact: you can ask for items to be made in side portions even though it's not listed on the menu like we did with the pancakes and hash. lemon ricotta pancake: fluffy and light texture wise. I didn't taste much lemon, but the fresh berries and cream atop still made for a delicious bite. The batter itself isn't too sweet either and i liked how they placed all the condiments on the side. corned beef hash: well seasoned. This was my first time trying corned beef hash, so I don't have anything to compare it to. It's a simple dish with beef and potatoes but I probably wouldn't order again so I felt it was dry to eat alone without sauce. crab benedict: crabs tasted fresh and the eggs were well poached. It had the perfect runny consistency. My only critique is that I wish the hollandaise sauce was stronger, it gets muted by the crab and egg. migas: I enjoyed the flavor, but wished there was more protein. It was mainly tortilla chips and I didn't see the bell peppers listed on the menu. The hashbrowns I got with the dish were crispy and not too oily. I also enjoyed their fresh baked biscuits which were moist and paired well with the berry jam provided. All in all, I thought they had very good portion sizes at this restaurant for the price of things. We enjoyed the flavor and atmosphere. It can get loud with a lot of people dining all at once and the tables being so close together, but it's a nice option for family breakfast if you don't mind these factors. I rounded up a star giving them the benefit of the doubt that their service isn't normally like, but I appreciate the freshness of their ingredients most. Popped in for an impromptu breakfast date with kiddo. The Eggs & Us is located in a cute little mini mall area that gives you the welcoming small town vibes. There are no crazy steps coming in and they have double doors for anyone who may need extra space to enter or exit. Tables are spaced out nicely so everyone can move around without feeling like you're invading anyone's privacy. There's some booth seating with table seats on the other side, as well as counter seats. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The gal who helped us explained the menu with utmost care for any return visit expectations. Kiddo orders the Los Angeles Benedict, eggs were perfect with the running yolks, hashbrown crispy to his preference, and chorizo perfectly seasoned according to him. Had a very enjoyable early Saturday morning breakfast here. It was my first time here and it turned out to be great. The atmosphere and decor are very nice. My wife and I were literally the first ones through the door so it was very quiet at first, but it filled up pretty quickly and then it was a little loud, but not too bad. The service was excellent with our server and others coming by to check on us frequently. The coffee was excellent! I saw this Migas one was basically a spicy version with pepperjack cheese. Yes, I enjoyed it. Highly recommend! Elvis Presley French Toast (5): OMG! This was fantastic! Like a PB French Toast sandwich with a nice crisp to it. I actually didn't expect much but this one surprised me. Delicious! California Breakfast Burrito (4): When I think California Burrito, I think San Diego California Burritos with french fries inside. I'd never been to this restaurant before so my best friend and I decided to drop by here for breakfast after a night of partying because waffles are the best hangover cure. The homey local vibe at this restaurant is so perfect and cosy. When my bestie and I were seated I asked for their cute colouring sheets with an egg on them. I love that they had so many hanging up on the wall and I loved the whimsy of getting to colour while waiting for my breakfast, it definitely made me less hangry. I ordered the fresh waffles with strawberries and loved that the fruit was fresh and the syrup was perfectly sweet. The waffles were fluffy and the perfect texture to settle my stomach. For some reason I thought this place was like Eggslut in Las Vegas (which coincidentally is opening in Seattle too). Turned out to be this really cute cafe with a bit of a wait but yummy food. We also got the Swedish pancakes, which was delicious as well. Got a nice hot cocoa to beat the chill, and that came with whipped cream and sprinkles. This place is kid-approved, I am telling ya. Portions were just perfect. We finished it all. There was a good 20-25 minute wait when we went; which was around 10 am. However, once you are seated, the service is fast and super efficient. It had a good variety of vegetables and an abundance of potatoes. My husband had the Denver omelette with hash browns and bacon. I liked the veggie skillet but will probably ask to add eggs next time for a bit of protein. The hash browns were crispy and buttery, and the omelette was good-sized and had lots of filling. The coffee was decent and refilled several times. This is definitely going back on the rotation for breakfast. So I had added this to my own Issaquah bookmarks a while back because it looks so cute and got good reviews. I finally got the opportunity to try it yesterday and well, it was not what I expected. As all brunch places are on weekends, it was busy af. We had to wait 30+ minutes to get seated. Fine nbd. We were seated in a back corner next to a wall with lots of nice real plants. We had AMPLE time to look at the menu... because we didn't get to place our order for a ridiculous amount of time. I thought they had forgotten about us tbh. The servers all looked very over it as well. Everyone was very neutral and meh, if that makes sense. Which is whatever but something I did notice. Anyways we finally got our order (the breakfast burrito with chorizo and the smoked salmon scramble) and a drip coffee. The breakfast burrito was really good and the standout of the experience, while the smoked salmon scramble was kinda disappointing for me. I was really looking forward to it but the salmon was so salty and usually I'd be happy there was so much of it but it was just overpowering. Also the dish came with tomato and it made the scramble really watery. Which I found off putting. I ate maybe a third of it. Good hash browns though. The worst was that we added a creamer to the coffee and it was all mealy and obviously bad. So so gross. When we told the server she was apologetic but she was like "why didn't you tell me earlier when I came over?" Like girl, it hadn't happened the first time you came over... and also what a weird thing to say. Anyways they took off the coffee on the bill. Finally, we requested more water and never got it. So overall it was a pretty sad experience but the burrito was good. I'd say order to go that burrito and you'll be good. My friends and I visited The Egg & Us for Sunday brunch as the wait at Issaquah Cafe was 1.5 hours. The Egg & Us had a line out the door as well, but they were able to seat us within 30 minutes. I went to The Egg & Us 10 years ago and I honestly was never really a fan of their food, but it was convenient in Downtown Issaquah and so I would go with friends here and there. This was my first time back at The Egg & Us since they've recovered from the fire and reopened. Obviously with inflation, they've raised the prices significantly. Avocado toast is $15!! That's California prices right there. The cheapest entree you can get is a two egg breakfast for $12. As someone who usually opts for a healthy meal, I ordered the ROASTED GARDEN BOWL which came with roasted sweet potato, cauliflower, chickpeas, and pepita seeds topped with tahini dressing, served on a bed of quinoa and house choice of greens (+$16). I also ordered a drip COFFEE (+$3.75) to wake myself up. The ROASTED GARDEN BOWL was basically a salad. Four cups of salad greens with maybe a quarter cup of quinoa and half a cup of roasted vegetables and a couple of tablespoons of chickpeas, if that. The ratio of dressing to salad was definitely off as I had just plain greens left about a quarter way into my meal. The whole dish was quite bland and the only redeeming ingredient in the salad was the roasted sweet potato. While healthy, I would not order this dish again and it was definitely not worth $16. The COFFEE was passable. It was neither acidic nor bitter, but watered down. I would recommend ordering drip from Issaquah Coffee Company across the plaza instead. Service was alright once we got a table. The waitress came by to refill our waters and coffee. The interior is nothing fancy. They have uncomfortable wooden chairs and not much decor. It is well-lit and the bathrooms are clean. It was also quite loud when we went during the brunch rush. Overall: 1.5/5 for food, 3/5 for service, 2.5/5 for atmosphere read more

The food menu has lots of classic options and twists on the classics. They also have a section of Latin food. I've never been for lunch but they also have a lunch menu with salads and Sandwiches. The Classic Eggs Benedict hollandaise sauce was one of the best I've had. It was so good! My daughter enjoyed her bear pancake. They provided coloring menu with crayons and were very kid friendly.
