I bought a pre-owned BMW in 2008 and have been very pleased with the entire experience at MAG. The sales team was pleasant and let me take my time in making a decision - never experienced that before at a dealership. I have spent far more time with the BMW service team and they have all been outstanding. It starts with the personal service and honesty. They always describe exactly what they will and have done and do whatever it takes to complete the work properly. The work was under warranty for most of my time with MAG and I could not have been happier. Not that the service warranty has expired, the cost seems to be high but I learned my lesson by taking the car somewhere else. I went to another BMW expert on Riverside Drive to have a few things checked and the oil changed. I walked out with a $600+ bill and none of the work was completed to my satisfaction. I went to MAG to have the same work done and it was less expensive and completed properly. I recommend MAG BMW to anyone look for a great car shopping and after sales service experience. read more

I worked with MAG BMW of Dublin, OH (Chris Zane, Sales Consultant) for weeks to find and purchase a 2025 i4. I sent specifications for the i4 I wanted, using the Build Your Own feature on the BMW webpage, and relied on my sales consultant to find the car via dealer search. Among those specifications were all season tires. I understand the importance of this detail when buying a car in the winter in central Ohio. I took delivery of the car December 30th, 2024. Soon thereafter I was astonished to find the car was delivered with summer tires. These are utterly useless, and dangerous in winter in central Ohio and I've left the car parked since. I contacted the dealer on January 6th (Steve Johnson, Sales Manager and Chris Zane, Sales Consultant) proposing a no cost swap of these summer tires (with only 94 miles on them) for the BMW starred specified all seasons I had spec'd out, but they have not agreed. Rather, they have been slow to respond and indifferent to a situation where I have no use of the vehicle. They show no sense of urgency or commitment to resolving this satisfactorily. read more

I feel they are mildly racists and ungenerous. This is concerned only to the Sales and not any other departments. I had a sore experience when I went to look for a used 3-series car. This happened some time back, but the experience was so bad that I had to write this review to forget it. SO when I went into the dealership the sales person made me wait for about 10 minutes and then he comes with a grumpy face asking for what I was looking for. I did my research and there were two that I was interested in. Told the guy that I would like to test drive both and would take one if I like them. He never saw me in the face, as he was busy with his face in the monitor, and asked me my drivers license. To my shock he asked me car insurance. I never owned a car but I had insurance on which I am an add-on. He said that would not work, and there is no alternative for them than to lose a potential customer. I like the BMW 335i very much and I waited and saved to get it as my first car. Lucky for me that I moved to the West coast no later than a couple of weeks and I had a pool of certified 335i cars in California and I got the best one with a superb price tag. Surprisingly no one ever asked me for a insurance no matter how big the car was. The MAG at Dublin, Ohio I think assumed that I might not have purchased it as I was a fresh grad and I am an Indian. They worked on my BMW X5, replacing an axle. When I got the car back, the interior was soaked, not just wet, sprayed with water under the dash, destroying the leather backed manuals in the glove compartment and soaking the electronics behind it. This was sabotage, not simple water damage, quite insane. The damage soaked the cars electronic control module, unreachable by anything but a directed high pressure hose pushed up under the dash, disabling car functions like airbags, headlights, ABS and much more. This is pure insanity. I live across the state and taking care of this has been a serious problem. read more

Our experience with MAG BMW started out fine, the sales team was initially responsive & accommodating. We were excited to purchase a certified pre-owned X1 from John, a MAG BMW sales associate. However the experience unraveled quickly, when we arrived to sign the papers & pick up the car. We sat in the car & started the engine. Immediately an error message appeared on the dash that there was a "drivetrain malfunction." The service tech was called in. However, they were not able to diagnose the problem. We requested a diagnostic report, but were told that was not possible. We were told that possible problems resulted from the car sitting on the lot or watered down gas or maybe even from the cleaning the car received - all speculation with no facts to back up the assessment. It was suggested that we move forward with the purchase and then work to diagnose the problem if the error code didn't reset itself. Further research into the problem on the internet indicated that the problem could have been a host of serious and expensive repairs related to the fuel system and engine. There was no explanation as to why a certified pre-owned car would have such an alarming error. There was no attempt made by John, nor the Sales Manager Lance, to find alternate solutions or accommodations. We confidently walked away from the deal. And we are confident that we will not be returning to MAG BMW for any reason in the future. read more

We stopped here a while back- including our toddler son. Parking directly in front of the building, we got out to browse. We were met with nothing but stares and condescending looks by the several sales people standing there and a handful of other customers, assumingly because we had our son. I never realized how taboo that would be. They seemed to have a reasonable selection of cars from what I saw in the short time we were there, but I'm clearly not stuck up enough to fit in here (or to own a bmw, for that matter) and have no desire to return. read more

Well, I bought my first BMW here. When it was under warranty the service department was great...after the warranty they treated me like a red-headed step child. Under the warranty period "the rear rotors are lightly rusted and are fine." After the warranty, a few weeks later, "those rotors are heavily rusted and need to be replaced". Mark is sort of arrogant fellow and gives me bad vibes. Treavor is a great service rep and made me feel glad about owning a BMW and coming to MAG for service!! I have a small fleet of vehicles, and I can tell you that the subaru dealer in WV treats me better with my forester that has 278K on it then MAG does with my X3. Most of the time I feel like I am at a KIA dealer. If you are a car nube and have a six figure income then you simply won't realize when they are yanking your chain. I however, am a car enthusiast / gearhead and recognize utter nonsense when dribbles out of their mouth. I gave a two star rating based on the performance of the other service reps. Treavor had ability, enthusiasm, and general car knowledge and deserves a five star rating all by himself! The other folks that I have dealt with were just warm bodies in an assembly line. BTW, Kelly BMW told me it could take days to have my X3 aligned...so not much better. These dealers have completely ruined the BMW brand for me...so sad because I am german. Dismissive sale staff, good selection. Arrived 30 mins before closing to have a few questions answered. First salesperson said they were closing and told me to walk around the lot and come back if I found a car I liked; but he was too busy to answer questions. The second salesperson said he would get someone else to help me if I just waited outside by the door. I waited about 15 minutes in the 20 degree weather for a third salesperson to answer my few simple questions before realizing they were locking the doors and had no intentions of actually helping me. Again, great location and selection but the staff did not seem interested in customer service at all - appeared as though they were only interested if I had a car on the lot already picked out. Questions were treated as a nuisance and each of the two sales staff I spoke with seemed to have a pre-planned strategy to avoid customers in order to close 5-10 mins early. I bought a X6 from another dealer online as a result. I would recommend not shopping for a BMW at MAG. read more

Very pretentious sales manager. I first arrived and no one greeted me. I walked and walked the lot looking at Mini's. Still no one. Went back into the showroom and found the sales mgr. No greeting; nothing. I finally inquired about the Mini's and he said he was busy and asked me to come back. I did only b/c I had another errand. Returned, he handed me the keys and said "have fun". I was unfamiliar with a Mini so it was a task to get it started. Returned and he basically said "I don't think we can put you in a Mini you can afford." We had not talked numbers, he didn't know my income, my occupation....NOTHING. What an IDIOT. I left, never to return, and bought a more expensive sports car than his pitiful Mini that made a horrible noise every time you decelerated under 25 mph. If you want a Mini, I'd drive miles before I'd go there. read more

I purchased a new X1 in 2014 at MAG in Dublin. I returned in early August 2017 to upgrade to a 2017. I was not happy with the trade-in price they wanted to give me on my car as it was in very good to excellent condition. The next day I went to a Toyota Dealer to test drive one of their vehicles and they offered me $1,000 more than MAG. I was very disappointed that MAG was not interested in re-visiting the trade in offer in order to keep a loyal customer. I have had four BMW's and I love these cars, but I do not see myself returning to MAG in the future. That being said, I would give their Service Department 5 stars. read more

Sales team was pretty good. Service - NO WAY. Not sure where to start - we bought two BMWs from MAG and will never be back. If i could give negative stars for service i would. They are unbelievably unhelpful, over priced, condescending and you can NEVER get anyone on the phone except some prerecorded lady with a British accent. I'm not impressed. I agree with previous post - they flat out don't care. After a year of this non sense we gave up and now drive all the way from Delaware to Grandview to get both our cars serviced and avoid the headaches. Don't do it. read more

Doesn't seem like they care once you buy the car and drive away. Recently bought a 2011 CPO BMW. First off finance specialist tried to refuse to sell me the vehicle with out buying GAP had to pretty much call out his lie to move on. Second issue is that they never cleared off any of the previous owners information from the Idrive system (phone numbers of friends and family, also addresses) when I called them about it they didn't care about it just sorry and that's not something they review in CPO process (another lie according to BMW of NA) I'm sure they didn't let the previous owner know either. The last bit where I'm saying they don't care once your off the lot is been trying to work with them on continued issue with the vehicle, and they once in a blue moon will actually call me. Usually entails them saying they will call me back I wait a week for what was suppose to be a call next day to get another we will call you back. Overall wouldn't recommend them or go to them in the future for any new vehicles or service. read more

I bought a new Mini and have had it serviced there. Recent service they charged my husband $200 for an alignment and knew that we had free alignment at a tire store. Very deceptive. Overall a bad experience. Brought in my BMW that I bought from them a couple months back. Initially they were going to give me a loaner but I was a couple months short of 21 so they said no (not what I'm upset about, just wish I was informed on the phone). I was told service was going to take 1 hour, after an hour and a half they said it was almost done. At the 2 hour mark I was told my car was getting washed (I specifically told them not to wash my car or I would be late for class). At 2 hours and 15 minutes I got my keys back only to find my car wasn't even washed. Overall, I was lied to my face on 3 seperate occasion and missed my class. Structure and etiquette at MAG needs to be fixed. Paid $120 for an oil change and waited over 2 hours. Last time I go there. read more

I was gonna purchase a 2012 BMW X5 from mag BMW I talked to them on March 22 we agreed on a price lance thompson told me he cannot sell me the car until they fix the airbag recall so I couldn't pick it up on that Saturday as I was driving from Michigan. So March 30 Scott snow and lance Thompson told me the car is ready to pick up on Saturday. On Friday March 31 after I had the certified check ready,rental car booked,and insurance put on the car they call me and tell me the transfer case on the car is broken keep in mind this car has 50k miles on it how would the transfer case break?i got two different stories from Scott and lance. Until now I don't know the real story behind it.i was very disappointed as I had another opturninity to buy a different x5 but declined as I waited for them to fix the airbag. They wasted two weeks of my time and I still have no car. Very dispointed with this dealership as it is a BMW dealership you would expect the finest customer service. read more

The sales manager played a trick on me. I wanted to trade in my car and change a BMW, so in this situation, I should be taxed for the price difference between the new car and my used car. However, this smart manager taxed me on the new car only instead of on trade difference, caused the final price several thousands more. So I walked away. Good job. read more

MAG knows cars, how sell and fix them. But MAG does not know people. Customer service is not a priority especially when it comes to service. Their service people treat you like you're made of money and the expense of specialized repair is no object. They charge you a diagnostic fee per each issue that you suspect is wrong. So if you need 3 problems checked, you pay 3 diagnostic fees.... Really?? read more

This is by far the worst experience I had at any car dealership. I got a feeling the sales department is racist. I found a certified preowned BMW car at the dealership, negotiated the deal and gave a check as advance last week. During negotiation the sales person WESTON W. BROWN (6 weeks on the job) agreed to take care of the scratches and have the interiors detailed before delivering the car. He called me today informing that the car is ready for delivery. When I stopped by, I found some of the major scratches I identified earlier still on the car and requested him to take care off them. Also I found no evidence of detailing on car interiors as there was still lot of dirt. I pointed it out to him and his reaction was rude. He told me that the job is done and the manager does not want to spend any more money on it, take it or leave it. I was shocked as I came to take delivery of the car and didn't expect this. I was only asking what was agreed and nothing new. I requested him to talk to his manager. He went and returned in less than a minute and gave me the check telling no more negotiations, take your check and leave. I requested for audience with the manager and he refused to allow me to talk to the manager. In this whole process, I was talking to him very respectfully but he was treating me like crap and I was given no choice but to take the check and walkout. It all appeared to me like it was staged. These guys are full of greed, dishonest, have no ethics and treat their customers poorly. My wife and kids who were expecting me to return with the car were very disappointed with this whole fiasco. Gotta admit that I just had a great car-buying experience with Mark Naquin at MAG BMW. He is a total gentleman and went above and beyond to be fair, responsive and appreciative of my time and business. I met Mark when I test drove a used car that I was in love with but was priced above my comfort zone. I hesitated to make an offer for a number of days because I thought MAG would be unwilling to negotiate. During that time, Mark only called me once to thank me for stopping by and ask if I had questions. Finally, I decided to call Mark and make an offer based on what I thought was fair. I also told him I did not want to spend all day signing paperwork. He got back to me with a very reasonable counter offer and we quickly had a deal I felt good about. When I came in to do the paperwork, it was all ready to go and I drove away in an awesome car in less than an hour. In sum, I'm totally thrilled with my car and my buying experience. read more

Please allow me to share our experience with MAG MINI......We purchased a new Cooper in 2006 and added the additional year to our warranty to "assure" the ownership experience would be positive. From the first week and through four years of warranted 'service 'appointments we had a slow coolant leak. The overflow bottle as well as the head gasket were ruled out through investigation. So after discovering through the online owners forums that the thermostats from that year were 'reengineered' and LEAKING we took it in expecting it to be covered since we'd had this problem since new. No such luck....when MAG called to deliver the grim news as well as the charges I asked that they not proceed and was still charged $50 to diagnose the problem-I was the one that finally pointed the solution out to them! We also had a muffler hanger that had rusted away that we pointed out to the service person and they charged us an additional $50 to "diagnose" that without touching the car! One addendum: they did allow that they would cover the repair IF we would trade the car in on a new MINI......is that insult to injury? and who would want to continue a service relationship with this organization? read more
