Had a great first time here, although we had never tried this place out because last year when we stopped by, there was a $5 cover and we left. Got there earlier this time around and enjoyed some drinks at the bar. The service was great at the first bar and later, we headed into the bigger room to the left and grabbed a booth with some friends. Food came out pretty quick and was delicious. The fried pickles were vey good quality and fries were piping hot. Calamari was prepared perfectly and even though it was a Saturday night, we were not kept waiting. Definitively better than any of the other bars in the area, in my opinion. It's also pretty spacious inside, which is a plus. My husband hates crowded bars and he didn't complain once. The bathrooms were also pretty clean. We will definitely stop back, whether it's for drinks or to grab a bite-- as long as there's no cover! read more

I adore McGerks in Horsham. The menu is great, the service is great, I love the outdoor patio and the food and drinks! It's always a good time there and a definite "go to" spot for a mid week meet up! It can get crowded, but they turn the tables quickly and the bar is huge and a great place to wait! We went here because they had 1/2 priced nachos for National nacho day, and the nachos were pretty good. However, I looked at the menu and if anything is half priced on their menu, then it's way over priced (for me at least). Besides that everything was pretty much average, can't complain about the service but I can't say anything good about it either. read more

This bar is awesome! One of my favorite spots. It's one of the nicest bars that I have ever been too. They have a plethora of drinks and really good food. So many great appetizers from Cheesesteak Spring Rolls, Southwest Salad, and French Onion Soup. The Loaded Mac and Cheese with Buffalo Chicken is one of the best meals I've ever had. Plus, they have excellent bartenders working there such as Diane, Randi, and Colleen. They will take great care of you. The manager is really nice too. Having been there a few times, I feel that overall, the food is good to a bit better than good (3 to 3.5 out of 5), the service is decent (but not exceptional), the menu is far too limited, and the prices are on the high side. The most obvious feature of the place (that I've neither added or subtracted stars for), is that they seemingly only hire young (ish) girls, who are of what most would consider to be ideal weight, and who are (for lack of a better term) among the beautiful people. Now, . . . personally, I'm all for being served by cute girls in shorts, but it's neither necessary nor "proper" (IMO) in a world where self/body image is so often an issue for so many. I'd love to be a fly on the wall during the interview process there, but the bottom line is this: It's likely that no one wants Quasimodo serving them, but at the same time, serving customers in an eatery does not require any particular set of physical attributes, other than the ability to do the job. FWIW, and again, just based on my visits there, people of color, and well, let's just say "non-Whites" seem to be under represented as well. That's to say, I saw nothing but White girls. (I'm White, BTW). To sum it up, I feel that if your average hard working capable person isn't welcome there as an employee, I don't feel quite as welcome as I'd like to feel as a customer. Ordered a well done burger, cut it in 2 and it was red. Sent it back, they recooked the same cut in 2 burger and when it came back out, the cheese and the burger came back burnt black. Went here with my boyfriend and his family. I had never been before, but they were regulars. The service was good with food and drinks arriving in a timely manner. We got the buffalo wings for an appetizer and they were really good, but a little hotter than expected. For dinner I got the chicken penne and it was delicious. We've been here numerous times and have always had a positive experience. Decided to come for the eagles/ jaguars early game with our extended family. Big mistake. We expected the large crowds but we didn't expect to have to request a server to our party three times in an hour and never get one. If you're not able to accommodate everyone for a special event, you likely shouldn't advertise all over for it. I'll return as I've mentioned that this experience was surprising to me but my two hungry toddlers aren't so forgiving! Most ignorant staff I've ever seen at a bar. Went out for a few drinks for my friends birthday. Place was crowded and we were standing by the bar waiting to get our 1st drink. Theres not a lot of room between the bar and tables so one of the waitresses had to squeeze by when she came back she said to the other waitress "tell those guys to get the f&$k out of the way" we tried to move over but the next time she came threw she said the same thing to whoever was helping her. Completely unacceptable for any restaurant to treat a customer with such disrespect . That was our experience before we even got a drink. By the way if you read this Magerks and even care... it was the waitress with the purple hair and it was on 02/09/19 maybe you should put her in the kitchen where she won't have to deal directly with customers. read more

Fantastic nacho and wings! My two girlfriends and I got the cheesesteak nachos, 10 honey lime cilantro wings, and 10 buffalo wings. We originally wanted 10 wings total with 5 of each flavor, but I think the waitress misheard us. We didn't end up correcting order since the wings looked appetizing when it came out. The nachos are the size of a (extra?) large pizza and the chips are crunchy (doesn't get soggy at all!). It was also great to be sitting out on a nice breezy summer night. DO. NOT. GO. HERE. Came from out of state (NY) for a concert and was at the hotel a mile away from this dump. Chose this place out of all other restaurants in the area because physically and aesthetically its a nice place. The hostess was nice and that's about it. Our waitress acted like we were the worst part of her day and we definitely felt out of place. We ordered 2 drinks with 3 ingredients each and it took 20 minutes. It was 3pm it wasn't 11 on a Saturday night. The appetizer came before the drinks did. And had to wait a half hour for 2 waters which were ordered with our drinks. The food was just okay. Definitely wasn't floored or thrown back. Bacon jam burger, wasn't bad but definitely wasn't spectacular. Every time we needed our waitress minus once, MAYBE twice we had to flag her down like it was our job to let them know when we needed something. Which seemed to be an annoyance regardless. Our waitress had this look of existential dread on her face that was completely uninviting. Like damn I hate my job too but I at least have the decency to fake it when I have customers. This is the second time I've ever left a shitty tip. Glad I'm not a local because I would never give this place another dime. Good place to go hangout and watch a game. Beer specials are good, no food specials for happy hour, and there prices are a bit higher than most places on wings. Nothing to brag about either. They were good but for a dollar a wing there are many other choices of places. The nachos were good but same ordeal. The service by Gabriell was excellent. Only complaint was an unknown waitress with bright red lipstick was rude as anything when we arrived and she was on her phone by the hostess desk and all I asked if it was open sitting and got a rude reply from her, all 5 of us almost walked out, but I said to her someone must be having a bad day and went into the bar area. Cleanliness was 5 Star...new place Friendliness was 5 Star...sat at the bar, bartenders are friendly as well as the hostesses at the door:-) So why did I rate only 3 Stars? I sat with any empty glass for more than 5 minutes and the bar was only 3/4 full. They had time to restock glasses and pick up some empties while I waited. This was my first visit and I will be back for another try... Maybe someone from the staff will read this and pay more attention to everyone at the bar. B/T/W I'm usually a big tipper...not tonight. Nice place to come and watch the game, however would suggest putting TV's on the side walls as well to make the game viewing easier. Had many choices of beers and the prices for alcohol were very affordable! Our server was Jamie and she was great! Was quick, and very friendly. The food was great. The atmosphere in here is great. A busy establishment with booths surrounding the bar as well as a separate room with booths and tables. We had the calamari appetizer which came out quickly and tasted good although perhaps not super fresh. For our entrees we each ordered a burger. For drinks we ordered crushers which are mixed drinks made with ice and fresh squeezed fruits. read more
