She performed surgery for my Achilles tendon rupture, and from my very first appointment through recovery, I felt completely confident that I was in the best hands. She took the time to answer all my questions, eased my concerns, and made sure I understood every step of the process. I made an appointment with Maggie Smith. When I got there I go Kyle Smith. He checked my foot, said to come back. I made an appointment with Maggie Smith. When I received the reminder text, it said Kyle Smith. I called ask them to cancel the appointment with Kyle, make one with Maggie. When I wmt to that appointment I waited forever. Finally the lady came out and in front of other patients, she said you can't see Dr Maggie until you pay $50.00 for not cancelling Kyle. Which I did cancel. The nurse, scheduler, whatever they are were very rude and nasty. I wouldn't recommend this place to cut my dogs nails. No I did not pay them &50.00. read more

Dr Maggi Smith and staff have been wonderful to work with. Double sprained my ankle in January 2019 and was pleased with her and her staff.. Went back and had bunion surgery on my left foot this March. This was no easy fix and she walked through what was needed to be done to repair my foot. I am very pleased on my recovery and repair. I followed Dr Smith's treatments for recovery and my foot has recovered nicely. My incision looks great and toe alignment is very good. READ THIS! When I was 34, I had a full-time job, a husband, a house, and 4 boys. I was leaving for work one morning, I slipped and turned my ankle. It hurt real bad, but I just put on tennis shoes and went to work. It gradually got better, but it was weak. Gone were the high heels I loved! Fast forward, it got so bad I could barely walk. I had gone to the Toledo Clinic for my eye examines. I found Dr. Maggie Smith and I was hooked. She was everything and more. By then I was 75. Dr. Smith met with me, took x-rays, and made an appointment for the next week. I was so afraid I would end up in a wheelchair. I had broken my ankle and it had grown back wrong. Dr. Maggie took that broken foot and gave my life back. I could walk once again. Her knowledge, skill, and "we can do it attitude" made all the difference. Now that I am 77, she continues to help me. As a diabetic, my feet have been trouble for years. Several ulcers, & infections. My local DPM tried for a LONG time to heal me up, and did a great job. But, my feet thought otherwise. I was referred to Maggi Smith, who very quickly identified the problems, and their solutions. Two surgeries later, I'm doing great, and the problems seem to be over. It's been a long time. If you owe her office a little bit of money they will not work with you. They will not see you at all. I am a bad diabetic and I developed a bad ulcer. I told them I could pay my whole bill ($150) off in several days and even give them a check or debit card. Because I recently lost my job over my foot conditions. And they still would not let me make a appointment and I've been a good standing paying patient for years. And in the mean while had to wait several days for them to get back to me. And my foot was getting worse the ulcer got bigger and bigger. I don't understand how money can come first over a severe diabetics foot. Dr.Smith always said to me at my appointments if you have any problems you call me right away and get in here I always felt like she cared. But dollar sighns proved me wrong. I should of realized this early on when she made a big deal about a surgery I had her do. Afer I agreed and thought it was all set. She said one of the girls will call you after they schedule it. Oh no what she should of said was they will call you to pay for it all up front before we can even schedule it even though it is something that should be done as soon as possible and you may even have a bone infection because your foot won't heel. And its not like she was not going to not get paid I had great insurance full coverage with only a $500 deductible witch my employer paid in full for us. But they did not care they wanted it now. And the other time was when they ordered me orthodics witch are insoles for my shoes. Well they said when they call me to come in to pick them up I would not have to pay another co-pay for a office vist. Well next thing you know I get a bill for a office vist co-pay. The office manager wanted to argue that charge because the doctor had wrote a note in my chart that day well thats not my fault. All I came in for was to get my shoe in soles (ortodics). He said well I'm gonna have to talk to the doctor. So when the doc came in I talked about it and they agreed no charge. For the next two months when I came in the receptionist said when I checked in the charge was still there. The office manager really wanted me to psy it. So I addressed the doctor again and finally it was removed. So if you are expexting a doctor to work with you on your bill or payment arrangements for a surgery you need despretly so you can get back to work. This is definitely NOT the place for you. And if you need any form filled out by them like disability, fmla aflac, work forms, bwc, ect they charge you a outrageous fee of either $20 or $25 each I'm not sure I can't remember so if you already. Have a co-pay plus that fee wow. I never understood that because they know you are not working. And until you get these forms filed out and turned in you have no income unless you are lucky enough to have a spouse with a income. And even then its hard to get by. read more
