She performed surgery for my Achilles tendon rupture, and from my very first appointment through recovery, I felt completely confident that I was in the best hands. Dr. Smith is highly skilled, thorough, and incredibly knowledgeable, but what truly sets her apart is her compassion and ability to explain everything clearly and patiently. She took the time to answer all my questions, eased my concerns, and made sure I understood every step of the process. The surgery went smoothly, my recovery has been excellent, and I credit that to her expertise and attention to detail. Her professionalism, calm demeanor, and genuine care made a difficult injury much easier to navigate. In late May, I took my mom to this office to have her toenails cut and filed by Dr Walkovich. Every member of his staff was very friendly and efficient. My mom was extremely impressed by Dr Walkovich's compassionate care. Although her toenails are difficult to cut (according to a previous podiatrist who cut her skin in the process), Dr Walkovich did an excellent job without harming her. He was also very personable. Unfortunately for us, we learned that this doctor was planning to move to Florida. However, my impression of the practice is that everyone there is caring and competent, so I would recommend this office for foot and ankle needs! They also have a practice In Perrysburg, OH that partners with the Toledo location. When I had foot surgery a couple of years ago, I recall the close coordination between the offices and one scheduler handled the appointments. They also take care of X-Rays within the office- super convenient!
