    Sign on front door

We decided to stop by after school at 1:45pm, during business hours, and was met with this sign: "open at 3pm". The door was locked and the phone number online (615) 443-4040 was out of service.

Like they had something better to do at the time.....? The ice cream was decent but the girls behind the counter acted annoyed that I ordered the Majestic shake and that they had to do more work on something other than quickly scoop out some ice cream on a cone and go back to doing nothing. It was ok for a splurge b-day trip but definitely not worth the price on a normal day. Probably won't be back any time soon....

The ice cream tasted bland, and when I got the chocolate cookie bits there were hardly any in there, please at more chocolate bits

It's a small joint in a strip mall directly across from the movie theater (Roxy).

Took my lady on a spur of the moment trip to this joint on a Sunday evening. I went in with chocolate on my mind, but that all changed when I saw they had Peanut Butter Chocolate! I got a large cup and stood outside in the warm breeze...perfect timing:) The staff is very welcoming and informed me that they make their own flavor concoctions-how interesting? Maybe other ice cream places do this too, and if so I apologize for my ignorance, but I felt it needed to be mentioned. Great job Maggie Moos!

I asked two friends from the area where to hit when visiting Lebanon, and both immediately said…read moreDemos'. I enjoyed the old-school ambiance and service was very good, as they frequently checked on us. The provided bread was some of the best bread I've ever had with a meal (up there with Red Lobster's addicting biscuits), with a cheesy type of crust on it! The salmon dip appetizer tasted pretty good but there were some huge chunks taking up the bowl making it tough to grab with the tortilla chips. I wasn't a fan of the cocktails. The Spring menu Spiked Iced Green tea tasted good but only made up a third of a glass, making it more of a shot than a cocktail. And my Old Fashioned was pretty watery. The spaghetti and meatballs tasted fine though it could have used a bit more sauce for the vermicelli and the meatballs were very dry. My friends spoke very highly of their blackened chicken dishes though. I can see why Demos' is a middle TN staple though I would want to try something else and avoid the cocktails next time I visit.

The food was a bit hit or miss. I ordered the chicken Alfredo, and while the chicken itself was cooked well and tasted good, the Alfredo wasn't my favorite. The noodles didn't seem like the right choice for an Alfredo dish, and the sauce didn't have the rich flavor I was expecting. I also tried the chicken and rice soup, which was decent but nothing that really stood out. The atmosphere was just average. It felt like some of the employees didn't really want to be there, which made the restaurant feel less welcoming. Overall, it wasn't a bad meal, but there are a few things that could be improved.

Plenty of seats for waiting. We got here before the crowds. But people were being seated right away too. Large groups too.

They have great burgers and what they call a tray which consists of a sandwich, fries or onion rings and another item such as a cheese quesadillas or a double order of fries or onion rings. However the milkshakes are the best so thick you literally have to wait a few minutes to enjoy because nothing is coming through that straw. July-August they add a watermelon shake for the season and Dec-Jan an eggnog shake. There are too many varieties of shakes to describe. So if you ever see a cook out on the highway or while visiting those southern states do yourself a favor and check it out.

Pulled up to the window paid for our food and was waiting while being prepared. A kid came to the window and tried to charge us for the car behind us . The woman that had taken our payment came up and asked him what he was doing. He told her trying to collect payment. She explained to him that she had already collected the payment to please hand the food to us. We asked for Cookout Sauce and barbecue sauce, thinking that we would get 2 of each since there were 8 quesadillas... Nope, one of each... The guy was rude when he handed us the food and acted putout that we asked for sauce... Dude it's sauce and not coming out of your pocket... Sorry you didn't get to charge us again.
