I am obsessed (OBSESSED) with their jackhammers!! I usually built my own, which most of the time is vanilla custard with brownie and caramel sauce in the center. YUMMM!! Staff is super friendly, always greeting us with a smile, even when it's crazy hot out there. They work hard to take care of everyone as fast as they can!! Anybody giving this place a one star is extremely petty. The best custard you can get anywhere, hands down. Yes, you're going to pay for it but it is worth every penny. Did the drive through and it was easy peasy. The guy took our order while in line so that the line kept moving. Got our ice cream quickly and went home to eat it in the Air conditioning. The ice pop was refreshing and I tasted bits of lemon too. Everyone ate so fast and made sounds of delight too. read more

2 visits and on both the concrete are too soft. Some are already melted like thin milkshakes. One of them spilled over when the drive thru employee handed it to me. The cup was slightly squeezed and the melted concrete overflowed. The 2nd visit was at the counter which is haunted by flying insects. This time I ordered the Jackhammer. The custard is slightly firmer. There is no core center filling since they all got mixed together since the custard is too soft. While waiting for my order, the guy who ordered right before me asked for a straw as his frozen custard is all liquid. And $5 for small is too pricey. Go to DQ or Culver's. Saw 2 people eating pizzas and licking their fingers in the back. Hopefully they washed their hands before going back to work read more

Dropped by Andy's this afternoon and was disappointed in the service and quality. I ordered the James Brown Jackhammer and was surprised that it was missing the brownie in my dessert. My wife ordered the double double malt and there was no malt in the drink and the custard had ice crystals in it. The lady at the window did not give me my receipt and did not appear to want to be working. She was more interested in talking with her co-worker about why she didn't like her when they were in school. In fact when she "handed" me my order, she held it out to while facing her coworker (and still talking) and she didn't even hand it to me because she was holding way off to the side. read more

Honest review; Good product, though it melts really quickly. You have to pretend you're in an eating contest and eat like a Kentucky Derby racehorse before it all turns to mush. Staff needs some work. I understand that it's new, so I'm optimistic that they'll work out the kinks. BUT... a chain like this shouldn't have the issues that they do. Every single time we've gone, our order has been incorrect. The lines are always too long to do anything about it though, so we mostly ignore it. Half the staff still doesn't know what's on their menu either, which is frustrating when ordering. The last time we went there was one staff member doing EVERYTHING, while management stood around or sat in a chair in the back office. It's a poor representation of the management when one or two employees do everything while managers do nothing. We're hopeful it improves, but it's doubtful. Grew up in the Ozarks in Missouri and have always been a fan of Andy's. I'm so glad they came to the area their custard has always been top notch since the late 80's when they started. If you want he best desserts ever they can't be beat! The new Gallatin location was awesome. read more

We were greeted by a very untrained person that couldn't tell us about the menu nor had menus available to review. At one point we were thinking she didn't even work there. She suggested we go to the website. After a 20 min wait we arrived at the window. All 7 ice creams were put in paper bags were the lids came off and spilled in the bag. While the place is new and one should expect struggles and challenges allow them to work those bumps out on others. No sense in rushing to get to a mediocre ice cream place.
