The owner Adelita was so welcoming if you get a chance to meet her, and has been concocting traditional flavors that truly surprise and delight one's pallet. I didn't know I needed some Adelita's in my life until I had some Adelita's. Now that I've had it I may just be addicted. Adelita's is a little Mexican ice cream and popsicle shop in Lebanon and is indeed a hidden gem. They also sell aqua frescas and milkshakes. The interior is colorful and bright. They have a handwritten menu of their flavors, which are mostly fruit- based but vary. They weren't quite a 5-star experience due to a couple factors but overall it was a great experience! Pros: -Cheap! Prices are really reasonable -Staff were incredibly nice -Great flavors. I got a strawberry popsicle and a pint of their cookie ice cream (oreos) to-go Cons: -Cash only policy. I don't know anyone who carries around cash these days but I suppose I can make an exception -No samples...c'mon this is the best part of an ice cream place is trying everything that looks good! I think I have finally found my favorite ice cream joint! Yes I do have to drive 30 min to get here from home but it is so worth it. I found this little gem by accident. I wanted to try "Taters" the little restaurant next door. Happened to look this place up and it had 5 stars. Decided to give it a try! I got the guava ice cream which was amazing! It wasn't too sweet, you could taste the guava fruit. Didn't seem to be artificially flavored! It truly hit the spot! They have lots of choices in ice cream and popsicles. Remember it is CASH ONLY. And NO SMAPLES! I was a little bummed about the no sample policy but someone told me I can't wrong with any flavor and I loved the guava flavor I picked. The BEST ICE CREAM in town!!! Stumbled on this place while waiting for my food next door and it was a total gem my fiancée and I stumbled into. Nice Mexican lady owns this place. If you ask her about her shop you can see her light up with pride talking about her work and what it takes to make ice cream they carry and the various flavors. All the ice cream is homemade, which shocked me. Not sure if knowing that made the ice cream taste better or if the ice cream is just that much superior than Baskin Robins? I have really enjoyed Adelita's ice cream. When I arrived, I walked in expecting poor flavors and not a lot of business. But, as I looked around, I realized that this cute and colorful shop is one yummy secret. As I picked caramel ice cream I could see the gooeyness of the still soft caramel mixed into the vanilla ice cream.
