So, I work at Honeywell and we get a different food truck every day. I had never seen this one, and I like Greek food and saw they had a grilled octopus on pita, but this had artichokes, some salsa verde and pico de gallo and pickled cabbage and I'm like, that sounds weird but ok, I'm a foodie, I'll try it. Let me tell you: I have eaten octopus in 4 continents and a lot more countries to include Greece, Spain, Italy, Mexico, Japan, Argentina...ohh no...this was THE BEST OCTOPUS ANYTHING I had ever had. I was compelled to go back to the truck to tell them how amazed I was. The combination of grilled flavor with the cilantro salsa verde was simply amazing. Why 4 stars? Because I had a freaking crab gyro. --- --- --- I have definitely never seen such a thing on any menu, anywhere. We were driving back from the beach and spotted the truck at the park. I was thrilled to realize they had mostly Greek/Mediterranean food. The falafels are soft and have a lot of garlic. I loved it. Tried the bacon baklava which was really good and the raspberry mint lemonade. The mint tasted fresh like what I grow in my garden. So this is my second time trying Maggie ON the Move,. This time the food was much better, I had the Dolmades again and this time they were delish. Great flavor and the rice was cooked this time, so they were great. I think I might need to grab a few to take home . When I heard that Maggie's was going around my neighborhood during quarantine I was THRILLED. I'd been meaning to go for so long after hearing great reviews from others. I got a Greek salad which could have easily fed two people and was amazing (I'd already eaten a good deal of it in the photo, it looked so good I completely forgot about taking a picture for yelp until I was several bites in). Plenty of toppings which was great as salads can often be lettuce with not much else, this one really delivered. The ladies were friendly and approachable, and it looked like some people were ordering the same Greek Wings, crispy, that I tried. The wings were lightly browned and crispy they were sprinkled with dry oregano, crumbled feta, ​and diced​ tomato. They were good but not AMAZING. Absolutely the worst food truck I've ever been to in my entire life. In fact, I don't think I've ever had a bad experience at a food truck however, this one...absolutely the worst! First of all, they had no menu to go by. When I asked the manly women for a menu, the she told me that she had the menu in her head. Which made it difficult to figure out what to order since it's Mediterranean food so I ordered a Gyro some french fries and a Coke. Now respectivelyat a decent restaurant, such as acropolis, this same order probably would cost between 16 and $18 on a high-end but when she rang mine up, she told me it was $32 which I thought was high but she was already ringing it up so I let it ride. I decided to give them a 20% tip too because that's usually what I give. I got the can Coke that I ordered, and I asked her for a cup of ice because it was not very cold. The lady had just handed someone a glass of ice and didn't charge them a dime. I had no problem paying for the ice but I requested it and the other lady working in there told me that they didn't give ice for 20%. Referring to that I did not leave enough for a tip to get a cup of ice. So I told her here's your Coke. You can keep your order and refund the difference and we'll call it a day. I couldn't believe she was so rude, especially charging a 32 bucks + an 8 dollar tip. Those people had a nasty attitude, piss, poor quality food, and charged more than a meal at meat market in Tampa... what a disappointment for a food truck. I hope everyone gets the message and hears about this place before they waste their time! read more

Got to try this place with my friends during a visit to Rapp Brewing. I got the spanikopita, and it was good. The phyllo had a great buttery, flaky consistency. The filling was chock full of cheese and fresh spinach. I really appreciated the strong dill flavor which I feel really made this dish sing. My friends and I also tried the bacon baklava. It was indeed very bacony and filled with baklava filling. Most of my friends enjoyed it, but it wasn't my favorite. I'm just not a big fan of most bacon desserts. In sum, the food was good. We were blessed to partake of the scrumptiousness served up by Maggie's. Being from Maryland she promptly informed us that she "knows how to make a crab cake." That was all we needed to hear and within minutes, a freshly cooked crab cake gyro and falafel gyro were in our clutches. These gyros were off the charts good. First they made a vegetarian dish with meat and when I went back they argued with me that it was supposed to have meat on it. When I clearly showed them on their website all they had to says was sorry we can give your money back. Getting the money back was not what I was looking for at that time. this is one of the first and only food trucks at the Sat morning market in St Pete, there are a lot of food vendors, however you have to wait until Sat to get the food . . . since Maggie on the Move is a truck you can find her/them at other locations through out the week. The food tastes good but boy did it not sit well. We were all burping up the cuban sandwich most of the night. Also the greek salad I got was super greasy. I had the crabby gyro today. The seasoning was very good with one big drawback. WAY too salty on the crab cake in the gyro. Disappointing because I could tell if it weren't for the salt content it would be excellent flavor. Dressed similar to how most places do fish tacos. Very nice mix of flavor and the seasoning was very nice! Board said 12$ for the crabby gyro but I was charged 13$. Not sure what that was about. I was not to happy about my GYRO. The presentation not presentable and it had a kick to it that didn't belong on a gyro. Not enough meat and it was like imitation gyro meat. The two ladies were not friendly. I get it--its hot on the truck but still can smile and act like they want to be there. I gave it a 1 because it was not gyro meat and added stuff on top and no sauce. The sauce is the best part. Will not be ordering from this truck any more. We have two food trucks roll up to the office every day. Maggie's is my favorite. They have a nice Greek salad with falafel. I would suggest asking for the dressing on the side and I hope you like red onions because Maggie's sure does! Maggie on the Move serves great home cooked items. She came to our 30th Anniversary Gala and was a BIG HIT. I had the alfredo penne w/ chicken and the portion was so huge I shared with a friend. Hubby had the sausage sub w/ peppers and onions and loved it. Unfortunately, they ran out of the Cookies, because once we got a look at them, EVERYBODY WANTED them!!!
