The food and service were okay overall, but I really wish the timing process had been explained more clearly when we first arrived. We started with 30 minutes of play time and assumed that window would also give us time to decide what we wanted to eat. Our food arrived about five minutes before our time ended, and we were told we would need to extend. We said we wanted to eat first and then restart our play time after. At first, they said that was fine, but then someone came over and added time without fully explaining it. We initially thought it might be complimentary, but it ended up being charged, which was fine. When that time was ending, they came back again asking if we wanted to extend. We explained the same thing, and that is when they told us we could not finish eating at the bay and would have to move into the restaurant. If we wanted to play again after, we would have to go through the whole check-in process again. At that point, we agreed to extend one more time and eat while playing. That said, the food itself was great. The service was great and our spot was clean and nice when we got there. We ordered the hot honey pizza and the lemon pepper wings, and both tasted delicious. It was not a huge deal, but it was a little frustrating since none of this was explained upfront. A clearer explanation from the beginning would have made the experience smoother.

Why am I upset? A) When we called they failed to inform us about the cover charge & band B) They've had bands before and NEVER had a cover charge C) If you didn't pay the cover charge you could have drinks out front on the porch.but couldn't use the bathrooms inside This is NOT a great way to encourage people to go. Let's face it; it's a small local joint with ok food and drinks. People go there for the convenience of being close to home and being able to wear jeans and a t-shirt. Not sure what they were trying to do last night...but if this continues I suggest you go down the street to Alibi, a much smaller place more upscale place with better food. I know they just remodeled so I think they're trying to make up the cost of those repairs by having a cover charge, because wasn't that good. Stick to what you really are "a local joint for LOCALS" not some upscale cover charge wanna be live band entertainment establishment....YOU'RE A BAR!
