As cigar lounges go, this is the priciest in the area and most understaffed. Here it's a waiting game for the hostess to clean, unlock lockers, assist with selecting cigars and serve drinks. That being said the smoke eaters are strong. Almost as if each person has their own, which is ideal because at many cigar lounges you are choked by your colleagues smoke stack. They are cool about you ordering food in and Sports Grill is next door, which is a win in itself. Parking is validated and costs $5 until midnight and $20 after midnight. Either is cheaper than the $30 unvalidated parking. Guy math, you buy a stick at Tabacon to evade the steep parking fee so it's essentially free. If you're there Friday or Saturday, it's more like a club that happens to have cigars rather than the rest of the time when it's opposite day. read more

I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THIS ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN! I went a few weeks ago and my friends and I were having an amazing time. One of my friends in particular was ordering a specific drink which was on my open tab. At some point one of the servers (very short Colombian girl, with black hair, and a pointy nose) began to take my friend's drink order. My friend was ordering a specific whiskey which he had all (5) on my tab. My friend ended up getting drunk which is when that specific server began taking his drink order and at the end of the night my friend mysteriously had (11) drinks between two different tabs but yet they were two different whiskeys. My friend's sober wife who had one cocktail explained to the server that this did not make sense and that there was no way my friend had (11) whiskeys. He would have ended up in the hospital. The server in return got extremely upset and began to ignore my friend's wife and attempt to reason with my drunk friend. My friend's wife got upset and at that point the server began to insult her. At this point another random server who was off and was celebrating her birthday at her job (tall blonde Hispanic girl, slim in stature) felt the need to get in the middle and tell us that "the servers are to be respected" not knowing that the server was being extremely disrespectful and defensive. I used to love this place and I've never left a review on any platform but I felt the need to address this. It is sad that this server took advantage and tried to capitalize on the fact that my friend was drunk. Ringing up extra drinks in hopes that we wouldn't notice when we spent over $500 at this establishment on several occasions. The other servers besides the two I mentioned attempted to diffuse the situation and review the tabs with us to make sure everything was explained. Our tabs with the others severs were spot on and transparent. I am not sure what this girls scam is but for anyone who goes here look out for her and use caution. I am not the type to complain but if you're going to be a low life scammer who takes advantage of people at least be more discreet. Things may have been different if she would've just explained herself in a nice way and be more respectful. But going straight to insults and defensiveness clearly shows she was up to no good. For the other blonde girl, she should mind her business until she gets both sides of the story. read more

Finally open! Got to enjoy this beautiful Cigar Bar. Place is outstanding the ambiance is relaxing and yet sophisticated. Service was great and the cigar selection was outstanding. This is a great addition to the Doral area. Drinks were great I had an Old Fashioned that was good. Great TV setup also to watch the game! Parking is available at the garage. Which we proceeded to open, unknowingly that when she brought the bill 2 minutes later that she charged us 6 dollars each of the 3 bottles. Place has a good ambiance, nice cigar collection, 2 bars, and decent amount of seating (not a lot) outside of all that, the service needs a bit of work, sat for nearly 15 minutes Friday night and no one acknowledged us, until I called someone over for a drink at the bar, at which point they still didn't speak, just looked at me until I said what I wanted to drink, also basic exchanging thank you's and please's are non existent, there was max 24 people in the establishment and at least 4-5 staff, still was ignored, when I finally got Maria's attention (dark hair with a pen in her hair) she was so rude, I Almost walked out but then one employee, Geraldine I believe saved the day and kept our group there. Service is horrible. After ordering 2 rounds of whiskies, my group asked for water because we all drove. We got dirty looks when we told them we did not want bottled Fiji water. The waitress brought Fiji waters anyway and ignored us when we tried to call her over. Finally she comes after one of the guys from the group got up and called her, we told her we did not want bottled water, that tap was fine, she said "let me ask my manager", the bottles of water we unopened mind you and untouched, she them came back with an attitude, and swapped out the waters. The place was basically empty, so it wasn't busy. We asked for the bill and everyone got slapped with an automatic 20% service charge for a group of 5 people? Its not about the money, you should pay servers for their service, but not when there is a lack of courtesy. I never complain because I'm from Miami and I expect shit service in most places because thats what this town is all about, but I did not expect it from a cigar lounge where you go to relax and unwind. Never going back, neither is the cigar group, typical Miami overpriced crap. read more

I had high hopes for Tabacon, but I feel kind of disappointed. I frequent a couple cigar bars in the Doral & Little Havana areas and was hoping Tabacon would be "The One" due to its location and proximity to my home and work. The place has a nice ambience upon entering, but it quickly becomes obvious that, aside from private rooms and a corner near the door, it is challenging to carry on a conversation with more than 1-2 people with any level of noise present...due to the layout of the majority of the seating. The bar is great, I suppose, but the cigar selection leaves a lot to be desired. Sabor Havana & Cuban Crafters have MUCH better cigar selections, even if they don't have as much seating or full service bars. Conversely, although sparse, their seating is more intimate. Which is more important? Well for a cigar bar, I value selection and the ability to sit and talk with 2, 3, 4, even 5 people without having to shout over the din of widely spaced bodies and noise. Guess I'll keep looking for "The One". read more

GREAT PLACE. Amazing ambiance, friendly and attentive staff. As someone who initially wasn't too keen on cigars but knows her stuff, I can say this is the first place I've been to that wasn't intimidating and actually knowledgeable. With an outstanding collection for cigars and spirits, they were so courteous and amicable, even to a nonce like me. Definitely coming back.
