So, I was getting a new dryer and decided it would be a good time to clean out my dryer lint vent…read more I ordered a kit with a round brush and some flexible rods that you attach to a drill and feed through the vent to clean out the lint. Sounds simple enough, right? So the flexible rods that screw together unfortunately separate while I'm using the drill and the brush and several of the rods are stuck inside the duct. I watch a YouTube video explaining how to remove it (it apparently happens frequently) by buying additional rods and attaching a "corkscrew" made from a wire hanger which you feed into the duct by hand to hopefully "grab" onto the brush and pull it out. You guessed it, that got stuck too. I called King Air Duct Cleaning and Lance (the owner) assured me that he understood the issue and he would be able to squeeze me in so I could start using my new dryer. Lance was here this morning and he was amazing. Within 20 minutes he had both of the pieces removed from the duct and all of the built-up lint cleared. Then he hooked up my new dryer, tested the airflow and assured me everything was good to go! And the cost was about 1/3 of what I thought it would be! Highly recommended!!!

The cleaning was textbook; he cleared the lint the size of a ball from the vent, did NO upselling, charged exactly what I was quoted and was done quickly. And my clothes now dry on the first load! My intention was to utilize the home warranty to replace the part needed but I quickly realized how low priority that company saw my need. After going back & forth for a couple weeks, I decided to reach back out to 911 Air Repair to see if they could help me out. By that point, I'd decided that it'd be best to just replace the HVAC system rather than the part, considering the unit was 20 years old. I asked 911 Air Repair what the cost for that would be and what it would be to replace both upstairs and downstairs at once. Although upstairs wasn't needing replacement, it was the same unit as downstairs so I figured if I was going to make an investment, I should get them both replaced to be sure my ACs were in good condition. They provided me four quotes, two with a 16 SEER2 unit for downstairs alone and for upstairs and downstairs, and another two for a 17.1 SEER2 unit for downstairs alone and for upstairs and downstairs. I was very happy with the level of detail provided for each option. As a first time homeowner, I'm totally novice at replacing HVAC units but they made me feel knowledgeable through the process. I opted to replace both units with the 17.1 SEER2 option. It included Ecobee Pro smart thermostats, which offers me an annual electricity credit through my utility company. They also replaced my return air grills, cleaned up after themselves when they were done and offered a 10 year labor warranty to match the manufacturer part warranty so any issues over the next decade will be fixed at no cost to me. Id be wrong to not mention that there was an issue the day following install, my downstairs unit started blowing hot air instead of cold. I texted them and they were at my home 30 mins later. They got it fixed within an hour! Turns out a wire was over tightened during install, broke overnight and caused hot air to blow instead. But when I say they were here QUICK, it's an understatement. I'm so glad with their response time and honesty in owning the issue. It's been a couple days now.. Their handyman just left after completing the attic access repair which looks great and is included with their service charge. Working with 911 Air Repair has been the best choice and I'm grateful I made the investment through them. TLDR; great experience, quick resolution and value beyond cost. Give them a shot!

She had a couple of estimates and really like the people from Kooline. They ran into some problems as our house in Maricopa had not had a loop put it during construction and the water lines ran under the foundation...but they kept at it and were able to do the water softener along with all the other things. Don and Mike did a great job and worked really hard..Mo...the owner came out as he was familiar with Province and the older Engle Homes and knew exactly where to get the water lines to do this. They did a lot of extra work and did not charge us extra over the estimate. They all did a great job and would highly recommend this business for plumbing and AC/Heating needs.
