Watch out, fast professional repair ahead! Our oven was running cool and making the Holidays a baking nightmare! Reached out to several appliance repair shops to se if we could have a technician stop by. Felix responded quickly and was able to have a tech out in under a week! Awesomeness! The technician, Kurt M., showed up and was very professional and courteous He quickly verified what we had suspected, oven was 30 degrees low. Kurt was able to adjust the oven and it was spot on during a test run. We appreciate having a working oven back in the mix and truly appreciate Felix and the whole team. After seeing all the great reviews on this company, thought that I would give them a try and have them do an air duct cleaning for us. I reached out to them on Facebook and got an immediate quote and scheduled an appointment for 6/12/23 between 9 and 11. Already I was impressed in how quick they responded. However, that is where they dropped the ball. Come 11:05 and no one was at our house yet, I called to see what the hold-up was. The lady said that she had no record of an appointment being made for us. She put me on hold while she researched for me. She got back to me and said that their office manager did make the appointment but failed to put in in the scheduling system. The manager was out of town and couldn't be reached. Owner got back to me and said that it was an "honest" mistake and wanted to make it right. Might as well have said, "My Bad". That is the trouble with America today, no one wants to do their job properly anymore and provide real customer service. read more

I am sadly writing this review. I had Felix install a new heating and air system 2.5 years ago. I have applauded their work and sent them referral business. On a recent Friday Night, my air went out. I called and left a message on Saturday morning. The house was approx. 97 degreees and my dog was having a difficult time (more than me). I heard nothing. I called back about four hours later. Nothing. I finally called a different company, and they came within two hours and fixed the issue. It complicated the warranty issue, but I did not care at that point. I ended up spending more. On Monday morning, I received a call from Felix. I was told that they do not have anyone that checks messages or works on weekends. I questioned that as they are an Arizona air conditioning company (or any state). No real response. Did not sound concerned by that. Not sure how that can work for most customers? She was glad I got it fixed. I think it is important for people to realize....NO support on weekends. I will no longer refer them, sadly. read more

Called on a thursday for a heating element in a dryer that went out. informed dispatch that it was stackable and in a tight space. scheduled a service for the following tuesday. guy walks in and says "i was afraid of this, i have a broken elbow and cant lift anything". so. waited 5 days for a tech to come out and he can even lift his tool bag. idiots. read more

11/13/22 I just wanted to let everyone know just how HONEST and Professional this company is. I called Felix to schedule a repair on my stove as I was getting yellow flames and not the regular blue flame on my burners. The woman making my appointment asked me to hold on a moment while she spoke to the technician. In a moment she was backing asking if we were using a humidifier at our home. She said that the technician had said that if this were the case, the extra humidity would cause the flames to be yellow. She suggested we stop using the humidifier for a few days and see if the problem would correct itself which is in fact what happened. This company passed on the opportunity to charge a fee for a house call knowing that there was no problem with the stove. This is honesty and professionalism at its best! We called several places and no one got back to us. We live in Maricopa City and when we called Felix Appliance Heating and Air the receptionist was attentive and friendly. We set up an appointment because our furnace was making noises. Tyler texted to introduce himself and sent a picture so we could know who to expect for our appointment. Tyler and Fred were both knowledgeable and professional. Our furnace noise was an easy fix. So glad they prevented major problems down the road. I started off by requesting an estimate for a dryer repair through Yelp.com and Felix Appliance Repair (FAR) was quick to answer $89 and if they did the repair the estimate gets absorbed into the overall cost. We set the schedule, the technician gave me an advanced notice that he was on the way, and the technician (Joey) showed up on time. I like that the technician or company sends a picture of the tech coming out and a synopsis of his background. Although Joey was wearing a Golden Sword Service shirt (not sure what the relationship is with FAR) he was professional, communicated the issues well, ordered the part, and was able to fix the issue the next day. read more

Horrible customer service! Would not and will not ever recommend to anyone. They were sent out by our joke of a home warranty company, One Guard. It took 2 weeks to get a technician out. He was here on a Thursday, stated we needed a new AC unit, he would send over the paperwork to the warranty company and we should hear something within 48 hours. Monday we called after not hearing anything to follow up, low and behold the technician never even submitted our paperwork. After a couple of days getting that straightened out, they tried scamming buy up selling saying they could not replace our AC unit without replacing the furnace which after having to other different companies out to verify they were completely wrong. Then another two weeks went by before we could get an appointment for installation for the AC unit. Two days prior. We get a phone call that the wrong parts were ordered and again trying to say we needed a new furnace as well. All lies and scams! These people are a joke. I'm not sure who to blame, if they are scamming with the warranty company or what. We have been without ac for 5 weeks in 115 plus temperatures, and we have small children. Both companies have been reported to BBB and we have contacted a lawyer. Absolute horrible experience read more

Useless. They still after 3 weeks have not finished the job. They have not returned my phone call from 2 weeks ago. The home warranty company has called them 3 times and FELIX has NOT responded to them. They have also emailed them and FELIX has ignored that too. There are choices and I would have thought with all that is going on with COVID that these companies would have started to realize they had better IMPROVE because customers should be looking for good service at reasonable prices. Instead you get companies like FELIX APPLIANCE REPAIRS who do a poor job and have NO respect for the customer. I had to post a review this company is over the top. My 3 1/2 year old LG refrigerator stopped cooling. I called Felix Appliance Repair and they sent Mike out, we talked with him earlier because he was having a hard time getting the compressor, we ended up ordering it. Mike came out the next day and installed it, it cooled for about 12 hours then stopped. Mike came out the next day when I called even though it was Saturday and they don't normally work that day. He worked on it for awhile and said they would send Kevin out Monday since he was the expert with LG's. Well, Kevin couldn't fix it, so unfortunately she was sent to the scrapyard. The owner Robert Felix came to our door today with a refund for the service since they couldn't repair it. He didn't have to do that, but I very much appreciate it. I have used this company for a stove repair for my rental and am very disappointed with their service. This company was referred to me by my Home warrantee (HW) company. This appliance repair company replaced a gas lighting system which only started to light after several clicks. After the repair and part replacement was done, I was not informed of its work status. A few weeks later, the tenant reports orange flames and was concerned about carbon monoxide issue. The HW company told us to contact this repair company for a recheck. When I contact this repair company, the phone receptionist (?owner) was very unprofessional, condescendant and unhelpful and questioned my request for recall. He said another work order needs to be placed before a tech can come out again. I do not recommend this repair company due to their very poor customer service and business practice. read more

She politely told me the technician would call me back and let me know when he would be able to fix my dryer. Within 5 minutes I received a return call from Robert, I explained my problem and he said he would come out the next afternoon. Robert and Joey were here the next afternoon to repair my dryer. He was punctual, polite and very patient with his trainee. I was totally impressed with his customer service and reasonable pricing. This is the guy you want to talk to before you hire someone else. The electronic ignition went out in our Jenn-Air gas cook-top. Before we even scheduled an appointment, he asked us to pull out the drawers to find the electrical plug in and make certain it was plugged in. We did that, and is was unplugged. Kurt from Felix Appliance Repair fixed our microwave today! SO polite, wore a mask & gloves (so thoughtful during this pandemic). He went above and beyond by also checking out an issue I had been having with my stove, despite the fact I had only made the service call for the microwave. Taking the extra time, he determined the issue so I would know whether to get the stove repaired, or replaced. He did not charge anything additional for the troubleshooting. I would DEFINITELY recommend him for any appliance repairs. There is a travel fee, but it is added to the repair of the appliance if you decide to have him fix it. He gave me a 1 year warranty on parts & a 3 year on labor. (When I originally booked the appointment, I spoke with Kurt over the phone to give him an idea of what I thought was wrong with the microwave. I didn't want to pay a service fee if it would likely be determined non-repairable. He was more than happy to listen & troubleshoot to the best of his ability over the phone & give me a rough guesstimate on the repair price.) Maybe I was just lucky he was right on what was needed for the repair, & that he had ordered & brought the correct parts for the job. But, I got the impression he would've done what he could to make sure I was happy with the service & outcome. Very knowledgeable about appliances too. read more
