Fair warning, long review: I used 911 Air Repair on 7/12 to diagnose a failed compressor on my downstairs HVAC unit for a home I recently purchased. My intention was to utilize the home warranty to replace the part needed but I quickly realized how low priority that company saw my need. After going back & forth for a couple weeks, I decided to reach back out to 911 Air Repair to see if they could help me out. By that point, I'd decided that it'd be best to just replace the HVAC system rather than the part, considering the unit was 20 years old. I asked 911 Air Repair what the cost for that would be and what it would be to replace both upstairs and downstairs at once. Although upstairs wasn't needing replacement, it was the same unit as downstairs so I figured if I was going to make an investment, I should get them both replaced to be sure my ACs were in good condition. They provided me four quotes, two with a 16 SEER2 unit for downstairs alone and for upstairs and downstairs, and another two for a 17.1 SEER2 unit for downstairs alone and for upstairs and downstairs. I was very happy with the level of detail provided for each option. As a first time homeowner, I'm totally novice at replacing HVAC units but they made me feel knowledgeable through the process. I opted to replace both units with the 17.1 SEER2 option. It included Ecobee Pro smart thermostats, which offers me an annual electricity credit through my utility company. They also replaced my return air grills, cleaned up after themselves when they were done and offered a 10 year labor warranty to match the manufacturer part warranty so any issues over the next decade will be fixed at no cost to me. Id be wrong to not mention that there was an issue the day following install, my downstairs unit started blowing hot air instead of cold. I texted them and they were at my home 30 mins later. They got it fixed within an hour! Turns out a wire was over tightened during install, broke overnight and caused hot air to blow instead. But when I say they were here QUICK, it's an understatement. I'm so glad with their response time and honesty in owning the issue. It's been a couple days now.. Their handyman just left after completing the attic access repair which looks great and is included with their service charge. Working with 911 Air Repair has been the best choice and I'm grateful I made the investment through them. TLDR; great experience, quick resolution and value beyond cost. Give them a shot! read more

Patrick arrived on time for my fall check up. He first set the thermostats to heat and then monitored the valves outside by the condenser. He checked & cleaned the condenser, and then proceeded into the attic to check the air handler equipment. Everything was in good working order. He emailed me a dozen pictures of equipment and readings. He also suggested a couple of improvements to consider in the future; add surge protectors and water monitor for condensation tray in attic. 911 has been my go to up until a couple of months ago. My AC has been going on and off and I've been reaching out to 911 air repair since august and no luck.. we had to hire another company , showed up same day $300 later only to tell us that the previous person who checked the AC should've checked everything and should've cleaned that needed to be cleaned. Last person to have gone up into the attic was someone from 911 air repair. Which I should've figured when he left after only "taking a look" that only lasted no more than 5 min. read more

After 911 came to my house, I had two handymen come out as well. One of them said 911 did not vacuum the filter where the air blows from because I was still having issues with my air conditioning after spending $400 having 911 come out. So he vacuumed it. I have video of it one week after proving it was not done. A second handyman came out and noticed the side of the house had rust on it and is leaking from the ac!!! This is something that 911 should've told me and didn't. 911 did not clean the pan underneath the air conditioning and did not even tell me about the stain and about it leaking they are supposed to be the expert. So it just is unfortunate because I am not the expert in these things and spent a lot of money and had to spend more money after 911 came. I do not recommend this company. I do not feel like they listened. to me at all or treated me well. I felt like I was an annoyance to them. read more

Avoid this company. They charged me $355.45 to come out and replace a motor run capacitor that costs less than $20 on Amazon. No other work or even cleaning and motor lubrication was performed. Better value can be found elsewhere. read more

Well, last night at midnight it was 92 degrees in my home. At this moment, 10:30 PM it is 78 degrees! I and my wife are so very grateful to Mr. Ray Nieves of 911 Air Repair! During the past couple of years, we've had many problems with the a/c unit that we had. And in contacting a few other companies, there was none of these willing to help us. and after our having to go at least 2 months last summer with no a/c and running fans circulating the hot air. I decided to contact another to come check our unit and go from there. I contacted 911 Air Repair two days ago. A gentleman came out and explained that I would be speaking with someone the next. He of course did not tell me of whom this would be? Yesterday morning, there was a knock on my door. When this gentleman came in our home, he said " Boy it is hot in here!" We spoke with one another for a few moments, at which time he informed me that he would be over the next morning, today, with a crew to install, and replace the old unit here with a new unit. I could not believe my ears, as I am hard of hearing I questioned him! It was Mr. Nieves that provided me with this information. And true to his word, he had his crew here, and he took time out of his morning to be sure that the job was started and checked on my wife and myself. My wife works from home, doing her best to cover our bills. As for myself I am a veteran collecting permanent Social Security Disability. Buying a furnace and air conditioner is a big deal. I put a lot of thought and did my due diligence because there was a lot of money involved. Lived here at my home for 5 years. Every year, same old thing, water condensation pipe drain gets clogged and needs to cleaned out with air pressure or long brush. Called them on the advice of a friend as my guy is out of town and of course it started leaking......Quote $89.....fair enough I said, takes 30 minutes. $900 estimate later, i found out what they are all about. After another company came out and could not diagnose the issue with my A.C. I called 911 repair. Dan answered the phone and scheduled a technician to come first thing the next morning. Vic came out and found this issue, the following day Vic worked to replace the broken part, a valve sensor. He spent 3 hours in my attic on a 110 degree day and fixed the problem. 911 saved us!! We had had a different company come to our home just a couple days before (our house was HOT and we were desperate) and we were bombarded with high price tags on an overwhelming venture of replacing our entire unit. I can't even begin to say how happy I am with 911 Air Repair. Our AC went out, and I contacted my home warranty company. This was on a Thursday evening. They said they would have their approved company come out on Tuesday. It's 97 degrees, and the weekend is supposed to be over 100 degrees. I had already made a few calls without a response, and yet Ray had his technician Art come out Friday morning, as soon as he got my message. We knew the unit was bad, and the warranty company wanted to wait for their own contractors to come out. Once I got an approval to use an outside network contractor, Ray went above and beyond to get the claim approved. It cost me more out of pocket than if I had used the warranty company provider, but Ray and Art had my home back safe and sound in less than 24 hours. It was worth every penny.
