$10 cash or $12 credit card per adult. Kids $2 cheaper. There's an atm there. There's 2 different courses -- fantasy or forest castle dragon. You can only choose 1. Fantasy (faces sea wall) seems more for young kids but we chose the forest dragon (towards the back) bc it has more shade and being it is july and super hot and sunny you want to consider it. There's like 20 holes and no fans. No ac. Get ready to sweat, especially when you're frustrated too at the end you get one $1 off coupon per party for sno cones next door. Sno cones are actually pretty cheap and yummy! The smallest size is big. I had the mango Mary. Yummy!

SUPER FUN !!! $10 pp cash only , there are 2 courses and we had a blast!! Very well kept, clean and super friendly!!!! Awesome weather night tonight

Putt Putt with an ocean view. I have passed Magic Carpet on several visits to the island and can truly say this is not only a beautiful location to mini golf but also a very fun one. Cash ONLY so come prepared or be a sucker and enjoy those non ATM fees (sucker here!) As many note there are two Courses. Course 1 being easier (especially if you have little kids). 18 holes of awesome scenes; from a spring animated ostrich trying to put his head in the "hole", a giant pink conch shell, an egg laying chicken, a "ball" walk across the deck of a pirate ship, ending with hit your ball into a giant fishing eating a frog that if you hit a ringer in said frogs mouth you win a free round. Nothing appeared run down, I could see weathered but that salt watery air wreaks havoc. It kept my husband and I and two kids (4 & 8) very entertained. It's $10 bucks an adult and $7 bucks a kid under 12 I believe (don't forget that CASH ONLY part). If you Happy Gilmore your putt putt club you cough up another 10 bucks (you've been warned, its putt putt so just have friendly competition). This was definitely worth the trip for our short spring break stay on the island.

This putt putt golf course has 2 courses from which you can choose to play. One is easy and the other is hard. Each course consists of 18 holes and the cost for an adult to play either one is $10 (cash only). I played the harder one (Course 2) and yes it was difficult but still fun. All in all the course was in good condition and in my opinion worth the fee. Course 2 had elevation changes in it and the other course probably does to. Also, behind the complex are batting cages that charge $1 for 10 throws. I give a 3 here because the golf course is A-OK.

This place is so fun, and a must-visit. It is just a classic, old school miniature golf place with fun designs at each hole. You will be hot and sweaty and uncovered, so stay hydrated. We enjoyed the ocean view while we golfed. Afterward, we had snow cones from a truck by the parking lot.

Magic Carpet is the BEST mini golf course we've played so far! My husband and I have picked up mini golf as we travel to new places. I'd say we're fairly seasoned and can say with confidence that this was our favorite course yet. We came to Galveston on a whim for a beachside dinner to celebrate his birthday. As we were cruising up and down the seawall, we noticed this course. We were a little disappointed to see it was cash only, but luckily I had $20 which was just enough for us both to play. We later noticed they also had an ATM, so if you're comfortable with that and cashless, you'll still have a chance to play. The cost is $10 per adult which other reviews have mentioned being steep, but we felt it was well worth it. You are given a choice between two 18 hole courses, one being "hard" and one being "easy". As seasoned mini golfers like I previously mentioned, we chose to go the difficult course route. It was so much fun! Unlike most courses we've played, this one actually had fun moving elements and challenges to it. There were a decent amount of hills, slopes, and moving parts on the individual holes. At the end of the course at the last hole you can also win a free game if you can land the ball in the dragon's mouth! The thing I like best about this course is that it can be fun no matter what age you are. We saw families with children of all ages, an elderly couple by themselves, and several couples around our age.

Cute golf course right at the seawall. Some holes are more challenging than they look. Be ready however they are cash only! There is an ATM onsite if you need one. There are two sides, you choose one for $10 per adult.

One of the better mini golf courses we have been to for sure! Such fun course layout and hazards. You will definitely want to do both sides which brings me to the downside. The price is quite high and I felt like they should offer some sort of deal if you say ahead that you want to do both. I will say though the location and parking is awesome and so it was worth the $34 for me and my son to play here. We ended up needing to kill time while on a fog delay to board our cruise ship ( you can see the pea soup in the background of one of my pics!) and this was the perfect thing to do to pass time as we waited for the boat to come in. Be aware that it is cash only!

I absolutely loved this place. We came here on a whim and we enjoyed it! It was my first time mini golfing so I didn't really know. We did the easier one, great views of the beach and water and it was enjoyable. Each one was really cool. It was very interactive. It's a great activity especially when it gets cooler.

The view from on top of one of the holes on the front course.

We were celebrating my youngest son this week, and he wanted to go play mini golf. We've been here before in the summertime and it was unbearably hot, and my wife was a little worried because it was a little on the cool side and windy, but it was once again, an enjoyable experience. Upon arrival you'll see the prices upfront and they do charge a little bit more if you're going to use the card rather than cash. There is an ATM machine there that charges 6% of the amount that you want to pull out so we just paid the difference instead of pulling the cash. there's two courses to choose from the harder course is in the back which does provide some more shade. I remember correctly the last time we were there that's where we played because we wanted to be with her with some more shade. There are some good views out front because you're on the golf side and although it was windy and cool, if you go with a brisk enough pace, we were fine. The course is obviously a little dated, but still enjoyable, and a good amount of challenge on each of the holes. you get a scorecard and a pencil if you'd like, and when you return your putters, they give you a coupon for a dollar off for the snowcone food truck that's just off of the parking lot. Speaking of which there is parking along the seawall and depending on the time of day, you'll pay for that, or you can park in the parking lot for free. There are also some batting cages behind the mini golf, although we've never use those so I can speak to those those if they are even operational.

Is this place wheelchair accessible? Or if someone has a hard time getting around is this place tough to walk in?

Not exactly it has hills so it might be hard Yes it's tough

    Do you serve alcohol?

No but there was a slushy truck outside

How much does it cost? I couldn't find the pricing anywhere! I heard it was cash only is that true?

They take credit card and cash. It's $11 for adult, less for kids. And really small kids are free, like two-year-old was free.

    Are there batting cages? Thanks

Yes! They're right behind the golf course

We were walking in at 11:10am, just after they opened. We set our stuff down on a table near the entrance and headed to the first set of slides. Because we were there early on a weekday, there were no lines at all. We would talk up to the top of a tower and go right down a slide. As it turned out, it was pretty much a waste of money to grab the express passes because we only needed them on one tower (two slides). And had we known that, we would have gone to this tower first and really not even needed them at all. Every other group of slides either had zero wait, or didn't have an express lane. And unfortunately, MASSIV was closed, and as far as I could tell, that would have been the best ride. We did every slide in the park in the first two hours and then hung out for a while in the lazy river, which wasn't so lazy. I really enjoyed it, especially after climbing 40-50 stories worth of stairs to do all of the slides. I don't know that we would need to come back to Schlitterbahn again when there are other closer waterparks to us, but we were happy to try another new one that we hadn't been to before. One thing I'll note: we attempted to walk around barefoot, but the concrete was absurdly hot. I am no concrete engineer, but it seems like a waterpark should do something about that. Paint the concrete? Treat it? Add more shade? I don't know, but the answer shouldn't be: leave it all natural and 100% exposed to the elements. At the very least, leave little stations at the base of rides for sandals, because you weren't allowed to take your sandals on the slides, but there was also no place to really leave them, so we just kind of dropped them at the bottom of the stairs and hoped they would be there when we came back.

We visited in early June on a weekday to avoid the crowds, and that strategy paid off. Lines were…read moremoderate during peak times but never overwhelming. The park recently changed ownership again, and it showed -- the staff was super friendly and courteous, but operations were still a bit uneven. Food service was slow, and a few areas seemed understaffed. One employee was literally running between two slides, and at another attraction with tubes, no one was stationed at the bottom to keep them circulating. Guests were holding onto tubes for repeat rides, which caused some frustration. We rented a cabana and bought fast passes. The cabana was comfortable, but with plenty of shaded picnic tables available, I'm not sure it justified the price. Same for the fast passes -- the crowds were light enough that we probably didn't need them. Next time, I would wait and gauge the crowds before buying. Bathrooms were impressively clean. Several rides were closed for maintenance, including Massiv, the park's signature attraction. Torrent River was advertised as a high‑thrill lazy river, but the wave maker was down, turning it into a very mellow float instead. Staff couldn't say whether the wave feature was being repaired or if it would return. A few areas looked worn and could use some attention, but nothing that ruined the day. Even with the hiccups, we still had a great time. There are plenty of fun rides, and we're hopeful the new operator can bring the park back to top‑tier condition.

It was July and we thought it would be a good place seek refuge from the sweltering heat and humidity before the sunset. I did notice that the attraction only had 2 stars on Yelp, but was willing to take a risk. It looked similar to some sort of immersive ride like Indiana Jones. My 6yo picked the Mysterious Underworld over the Shark Attack. The ticket attendant was an inattentive young teen. I asked when the show was going to begin and he let out a loud sigh and said "I don't know, it might be now or maybe longer. Stand in that line." He pointed to the shaded Mysterious Underworld outdoor waiting area. We were waiting in the space while other attendees were rudely smoking cigarettes around us. 5 mins turned to 30 mins. My son started to show signs of overheating so I asked the attendant again and he sighed and said I don't know! So we went into the other line for the 5D shark attack which was moving faster. When we got inside they said we were in the wrong line. We walked inside to our ticketed Underworld attraction and told the operator that we were outside for over a 30 mins. She angrily kicked us out and told us to go back outside. We asked if we could be inside with the A/C and said our son was overheating and she insisted that we go back outside because it wasn't our turn. I was livid and was working on getting our money back especially since there were no apologies for the miscommunication from the staff. Suddenly, 10 mins later the operator let us in and we decided to just go on the ride since it would've been faster than me trying to ask the attendant for my money back. The graphics were pretty horrible, and we got some sort of mysterious liquid splashed on our face from the creepy skeleton on the screen. Ok so the only reason I'm giving it two stars is because my 6yo son said that he actually enjoyed the ride. Honestly, though they need to have better organization, directions and training of their staff. There also should be an upgraded waiting area so attendees don't pass out from the heat.

How about this: #1000, I'm the first one to write a review on it, and one of the great rollercoasters in the country. The Boardwalk Bullet opened in 2007 a few feet from Galveston Bay. It's a woodie, and it's a crazy one. I had heard that the Texas Cyclone was relocated here from Astroworld, that DID NOT happen, these are two very different coasters. From a distance, it looks like it would be a lot of fun. The reality is much greater. First, you're waiting in line, and when the train zips under you, the entire structure shakes. Second, there is a place to put your hat, purse, phone, etc.; loose articles are prohibited. If you're nervous about riding, simply step through the train and leave, although you just lost $6 by doing so. If you do sit down, you're in for a thrill. I rode near the back, but I don't think there's a lot of difference between front and back. The Bullet never slows down from the first drop to the finish. There are three big drops, and they're all gnarly. The big feature, indeed is speed: although it barely goes over 50mph, the turns are tight, the drops are sudden, and you have only a split second to prepare for anything. The Bullet packs a lot into a small space, which makes it more intense than 80mph on a 200-foot drop. Its high noise level increases the excitement level. It's like a smaller version of the Ghost Rider in California's Knott's Berry Farm: smaller, shorter, but the same out-of-control feel. Some coasters are yawners. Others have you say "hey, that was pretty good." The Boardwalk Bullet is one of those that you'll want to ride again and again and again.
