Howdy y'all! This one goes out to my out of state folks I live in North Texas and stumbled onto…read moreECAS from an auto trader posting of a salvage title 2019 Ford Mustang and mainly worked with George over the phone, asking questions about the car and some behind the scenes info and what not. George and the folks on his team were real easy to work with and talk to. Couple things to note, they only take wire transfers, money orders, or cashiers checks so my EFT, credit/ debit card folks are gonna be stuck unless you want to fly out there. I made my purchase on or about 3/20/26, and George even worked with me on getting set up with a shipper they'd planned to have come out towards my neck of the woods that following week, but unfortunately that fell through. I received the car as advertised on 4/18/26 after using Montway auto shipping via UShip and it is a beauty. All in all, the staff at ECAS was great, very patient with me because I'd called NUMEROUS times during the month after purchase for updates and such. I would just recommend that there be a little bit more explanation of what to expect when dealing with shipping companies and how long that process can take.

Do NOT buy from George and East Coast as George is a thief! Why? I bought a 2016 Jaguar F-Type from…read morethere that was: 1) Salt water damaged and that HAS to be disclosed per VA law. He did not disclose it. 2) The dashboard says the car has 87,XXX on the odometer but the ECM that was changed out says it has 155,xxx on the car. They know it I assure you as the garage staff is very skilled in knowing what they have and what they can change with parts from other cars. 3) The car was posted as "run & drive." Sure, but the motor, when it did run, was damaged due to the timing chain (It has 2 chains) being off by several teeth. (One chain was strong enough to power up the car but every second damaged the motor more.) Thus, the impact to the motor was catastrophic. Do NOT buy from East Coast Auto Source in Bedford, VA

I'm giving OnceDriven a 3-star review, even though I didn't use their service. Here's why:…read more I was contacted by Payton from OnceDriven yesterday; he left a voicemail. When called back and talked to someone, I asked where they had seen my ad, they told me they weren't told where the ad came from. I let them talk me in to spending $289 for their services. I was told up front that if I sold the car myself within 45 days, I would be refunded, minus a $29 "processing fee," so $260. There was, however, no guarantee that they would actually sell my car. Later that evening, when I was thinking about it, I realized they had lied to me: The person said they didn't know where OnceDriven had found my ad, but I know where they got it: Craigslist. I have my car advertised both on Craigslist and the Auto Trader, but for different prices. The price OnceDriven told me they saw was the Craigslist price. So maybe the person I talked to didn't know, but the company itself did. That's just not right. I then did some Googling, and found all of these other Yelp reviews that basically said the same thing: OnceDriven had contacted them despite being on the Do Not Call list (which I'm also on), and despite choosing the Craigslist option to not be contacted by outside parties. The reviews called it a scam and cited shady business practices. I was pretty upset at that point, and was worried that I had just lost $289. This morning, I called to talk to my account rep, Sherry, but I couldn't reach her. I then talked to someone else named Jen, and found out Sherry was out today. I told Jen that I wanted to cancel the service. When she asked why, I was very calm and explained the situation to her. I was perfectly honest, but also perfectly nice. I told her about how I didn't like the fact that they had lied to me about not knowing where the ad came from, and also that they had called me despite the Craigslist option and being on the Do Not Call list, and that I didn't want to do business with a company who followed questionable practices. Jen said the manager would be in at noon EDT (9 AM my time; I had called at 8:35 AM), and she would have him confirm that I would be refunded my $289. At about 10:45 AM, I got a call from Jen confirming that my refund was being processed (I also got an e-mail stating the same). The fact that they did not argue with me, or make excuses, or try to get me to change my mind is why I am giving them 3 stars. Although I would not recommend this service to anyone, I can at least happily report that they have good customer service. I was refunded with basically no questions asked.

I can't believe I fell for it.. Oh well, car sold on Craigslist in 6 days. Once driven phone pitch people will eventually get struck by lightning or die in a head on collision while on there way to a family function. Bad online Karma & bad juju. And life goes on. Anyway. We can do a class action lawsuit on this company? I would def put down my signature.
