She was given a list of stretches and exercises she needed to do regularly and as long as she has done those she has not had issues. I took my son in to see him this past week. My son was dealing with some very tight thigh muscles which were causing pain and issues in other areas as well keeping him out of sports. He has grown 4 inches in the past 12 months and the muscles were not keeping up. After an initial assessment, Kerry told us what was going on and what he was going to do in order to help solve the problems and alleviate the pain. After an hour and a half of therapy my son was sore, but the next day was feeling better. He ran for the first time in weeks without the pain. If he does the stretches/exercises he is supposed to do he will be back to football and cross-country full time this week. I spoke to some other physical therapists and they just wanted to put him through some exercises (watch him do it), but not actually get in there and work the muscles. They also wanted to schedule him for multiple visits, not only prolonging his ability to get back on the field but costing me $$ for unnecessary visits. Kerry had him on a table and actually worked those muscles and stretched them out in one visit. He said we might need to come back once more if it persists but again, if my son does the stretches and exercises he was given then he would not need to see him again for this same issue. Kerry knows his stuff and I will continue to use him whenever I need to. He is honest about what is going on with the muscles in the body, what to do to fix them and how to maintain so as to avoid further injury.

Nutrition is based on healthy eating that is once again tailored to the individual. My fitness coach is Angelie Juaneza. Angelie is an AMAZING individual with which to work. She has a Master Degree in Exercise Physiology and she knows how to design a program that works with the strengths and weaknesses of each individual. So I was having some pain in my lower back for two days, everytime I stood or sat it was like…read moresomeone was shoving forks in my back. I finally had enough and started calling around to see if there was same day availability for an hour and a half. Invisions was a home run. I was a little nervous at first because it was a spa, and not specifically a massage therapy. My body is a mess and I require a therapist that actually knows what they are doing. I have had too many massages in the past where I have left hurting more and wanting to cry from zero relief from the pain. Thankfully I had nothing to worry about with this place. I was given a wonderful therapist by the name of Chase. He was professional and polite, briefly explained what he was going to do after I explain my issue, and as soon as he started on my feet i was in "love". Now I prefer deep tissue, it is the only way to get the tension out, and I must say I was pleased. Chase used elbows, nuckles, and thumbs like the knots in my back had no hope for tomorrow, it was painfully amazing. If I had any critique on the experience, it was the awkward silence, and I don't mean no talking silence. I am so glad I decided to bring my head phones with me this time, because there was absolutely no music in the room. I think next time I am just going to bring a speaker with me so it's not so weird.

My original appointment was at 3:20, and I received a notification around noon on appointment day that I had been rescheduled for 3:45. I thought it was weird that they didn't call or text to confirm the new time works for me, but it did work yesterday so I didn't worry too much about it. I did wonder if this is a frequent thing because a lot of times I am squeezing appointments in between meetings and can't be flexible with appointment times. Anyhoo, I arrived at 3:45 and stood at the front for five minutes before a massage therapist came out to check out her guest. She tried to help me but wasn't sure what paperwork was needed, but did let me know my lash stylist was finishing another appointment and had me wait in the waiting area. At 4:05, 20 minutes after my rescheduled appointment, I left without ever seeing the lash stylist. When I got home, I saw that I received an email at 3:25pm that said "your appointment is coming up" and I was now scheduled for the next day. I didn't receive a notification of any rescheduling this time, and to reschedule for a second time the day of an appointment without even checking that the new time works is ridiculous. Not to mention rescheduling 20 minutes before the appointment is supposed to start. If I cancelled with 20 minutes notice, I'd be charged for the appointment. I'm not sure why anyone would think it's acceptable to do the same to a customer.
