It was truly magic for me when I saw this locksmith master opened a slip between the rear seats and showed me the innen of my car's trunk with his cell phone light through the slip. In the evening before, I lost my car key into the trunk. TripA sent someone for helps. He tried to open the passenger's door, but cannot go further. Then he said us the only way out is to combine elec. power from his car and activate the button for opening the trunk cover. However, the whole programs for my car would be destroyed. We rejected this way. On the day, I first went to the dealer for helps. One of the dealer's worker was warm and checked other cars of the same kind, Volvo, how to open rear seats, but failed. He said to me that the rear seats can be opened only after a button in the trunk is released. However, the trunk of my car was closed within my key was in. The dealer gave me a phone number. But the man did not want to come. In the despair, I googled and found some locksmiths. I selected Magic Key. He, different from other men, asked me about information on my car, and then came to me. I had to get a replacement for a key fob we lost so after calling the dealer and finding out how much they would charge I started calling some of the locksmiths listed here on Yelp. All of them had prices much better than the dealership as expected but there was still a fair range of prices for a replacement key. Magic Key Locksmith have the best price so I chose them. Setting up a time for the work to be done was a breeze. Eli was already busy with another customer when I called but he let me know when he expected to be done. He sent me a text when he was done with is previous customer and let me know how long he'd take to get to my location. He was prompt courteous and professional. He got me a fob as close to the one I currently had and me OK it before continuing his work. He quickly got the fob working and tested all the functionality himself. Then while he had my old fob in his truck while he cut the emergency lock out physical key he had me try the new fob to make sure it worked without the old one around. He made sure the new emergency key functioned well doing some additional filing to make sure it operated smoothly. Eli, the business owner, is a great guy. Super polite and friendly while being a consummate professional. He took my call from another locksmith as a referral because the original locksmith did not have a key/remote in stock and he also specializes in automotive keys/remotes. I called in the morning and was able to set up an afternoon appointment to have a duplicate flip key/remote made for my son's new car. Eli arrived promptly as scheduled and was able to clone the original remote and cut the new key blade and program the new remote in about 10 minutes. You can also tell that he takes great pride in his work and the service he provides his customers by the approach he takes. For example, I also wanted to get a steering wheel lock key duplicated but he did not have a blank in his truck. That being said, he took time to research the key code and referred me back to the original locksmith's shop to have that key made. The pricing on the remote/flip key is also a fair (about half the price of a $tealership) given that a VW dealer wanted approximately $500 for the same remote without any programing or cutting. Best locksmith ever period! If you ever get locked out , this is the locksmith you should call. On a Sunday night , I got locked out of my room by mistake where I had literally everything including my work laptop which I obviously needed for work on Monday morning. I called magic key locksmith on a Sunday night at 9:30pm . I knew it will be closed so I disconnected after a few rings ! Then I got a call back from them . I was so surprised!! He gave me instructions on the phone how to open the lock from outside just by hearing that description of how the lock looks. ! I followed his instructions and within 3 minutes, my room door was open ! He is a great guy and had a lot of patience. I don't know your name but thanks a lot ! And all of this was free ! Me and my wife have traveled from TN to CA. We were on a coast to coast road trip. on our way from San Francisco south we stopped at Milipitas for the night. I found myself locked out late on a week night. The first few (supposedly) 24-hour locksmiths I called were unhelpful and recalcitrant to make the drive. Eli responded immediately, arrived in the time that he estimated, and resolved my problem quickly. Furthermore, he evaluated my existing locks, and (without being pushy) made a suggestion that perhaps they were not exactly secure. He changed the locks for me at a reasonable price, something I was inclined to do anyway, having recently moved-in. To top it off, the amount he charged me for the emergency visit was less than what any of the other locksmiths were quoting me. Eli was awesome!!! I was having trouble with my main door lock and key for a while. Once I called him. He asked few questions on the phone and asked me to message him some pictures and then we confirmed the time and next day he was there! He waited for me as I was getting back from a friends place. Once he was here- he diagnosed the problem and even made me a few extra keys and I also got him to check a few of my other doors. As a complimentary he checked my garage which has been giving me problems. Respectful, friendly, and knowledgeable!!! I will definitely call him again if I need to. I locked the car key in the trunk. Even though, I got the spare(valet) key, the valet key only allowed me to drive and open the car door but the trunk. Also, this car's trunk latch requires the key to release it. I was thinking to pull the back seat down but there is another lock which requires the key to release it also. my company's car has a wired design. I called AAA first but they told me they only can open the car door for me to use the trunk latch to open the trunk. So, they couldn't help me. Thus, I called Magic Key Locksmith then the guy showed up in 10 mins. It only took him less than 5 mins to pop open the trunk. Excellent experience today, when I stupidly closed the trunk of my locked car while the car *and* house keys were inside. (I should also give some feedback to the car maker about that, how is it even possible in 2015?!?). So I walked home which was fortunately not too far, to see if by chance I forgot a window open, but no luck. Then I called and 20 minutes later my apartment was open and I could take my spare car key. I had misplaced my car keys (single copy) and was locked out. I was on a tight schedule to move my car and Eli was able to get 2 more copies of the fob + insert keys and cut / program them all on the same day within an hour of getting there. Magic Key Locksmith is really easy to work with. I had to get a fresh deadbolt installed and was able to get advice on what kind of get, and easily made an appointment. Eli gave me a courtesy call an hour before getting to the apartment, and was on time. Eli was terrific. I had called a number of mobile auto locksmiths to have programmable (transponder) keys made for my old Honda, which I had lost. He came out on a weekday night and was quick. I called around 8 pm, he picked up the phone promptly, asked me about the problem, and was at my car in 20 minutes. I had lost my key to the car and he was able to get me a new one quickly and program it to my car. It was a great price too. The dealership would have been much more and taken a couple days to order the transmitter.
