Just had my nails done here about 4 hours ago. It is awful. The nail is already peeling and there is smear of nail polish all over. The nail polish is so bulky that it is already lifting. It took an hour to do this so they had sufficient time to do a good job. I called back and they agreed to redo it. I asked what happens if the redo is equally as bad, she kept saying they will redo again. I just want a refund. I should have gone to the place I usually go across the street but there was a wait. It looks like nail job done by a 5 year old.

I was skeptical about going into a salon for nail maintenance. It was comforting to go inside of Magic nails and see the many precautions in place from the moment i walk in. Things such as the COVID19 questionnaire, the barriers, the social distancing being enforced, as well as washing of hands frequently. In the past, cleanliness has been part of why I would patron Magic Nail on Hwy50. Yesterday was no exception. The nail specialist Katy, dropped a nail tool on the floor while doing my pedicure. Instead of picking it up and continuing to use it, she did the correct thing and went and got a brand new sterilized one. In the past,, I've severed ties and I have walked out of a salon bc the nail tech attempted to use a dirty nail tool on my pedicure. In addition, to safety and cleanliness at Magic Nails, Lee Ann and Ms. Linda are very professional and courteous. I do miss the nail tech Benny also.. Now, the real reason for this review is that Katy did an excellent job on my feet and hands. I believe in a pedicure and manicure being more than just polish and cuticle care. For the cost it should always include massage therapy. I was able to feel comfortable and relaxed as I enjoyed the spa services. I closed my eyes and enjoyed being pampered without interruption. My feet and hands were nourished and pleased with the customer service provided me.

Toes that are pretty enough to show off :-)

I just had a pedi at Magic Nails & Spa. Tammy did a fantastic job. This establishment is very clean and I love it that they use an autoclave and disposable tools. I already have my next appointment scheduled :-) Please know you should definitely plan to be on time. The website does specifically say if you are more than 5 minutes late you may have to reschedule. As for the demeanor of Lee, I wonder how much of it is cultural differences versus rudeness. I found Lee to be friendly today and I watched him speak with many other clients and treated them professionally as well. My advice is to go in and at least give this place a try. I saw Tammy, Cindy and Leon in action and they were all very professional technicians with happy customers.

Not exactly the best fill I've ever had done. Won't be back.

I posted a picture of my nails done last night. Awful. I had a person named Tammy filling my nails and she stopped twice to work on someone's feet, without even washing her hands. My nails have never looked so horrid.

Just had my nails done at the salon and was pretty happy, she did hurt two of my fingers. But overall a good place to go.

I have had nothing but positive experiences with everyone who works there, especially Lee, the owner, and Jessica.

Lovely, friendly, safe, and oh-so-clean--this place has it all! The luxury modern decor and…read moreup-to-date pedicure and manicure options are just what I needed before my upcoming trip to Chicago for a law conference. With the week already flying by (thanks to the holiday), I didn't want to rush getting my Elle Woods vibes ready . My nails turned out beautifully, and I highly recommend the Volcano CBD pedicure. It's a splurge, but when it comes to wellness and self-care, spare no expense. And while I usually find myself wiping the card for these little luxuries, next time, I might suggest that my handsome gentleman treat himself or even spoil me for a change! But wait, he doesn't spare any expense regarding our elegant dining experiences, so I'm already a fortunate lady. Until next time, Sierra

Firstly, the staff was nice, I was greeted and seated quickly. I came in for just polish (French…read moretips) on my nails which were already done. So essentially a polish change and a little shaping. I did not love the French's but I didn't hate them so I did not complain. However the woman who did my toes DID NOT know what she was doing whatsoever. We agreed on one thing and she did the complete opposite. She filed my nail on my big toe down to far and the polish was/is so patchy and all over my nails and cuticles. She clipped my toe trying to cut the cuticles where she had painted over, instead of just using some remover to clean it up. Which she still did a horrible job at. She said the polish was gel but I've never had gel polish look like this. Then on top of all this they tried to charge me almost $80!!!! I'll never go back.
