Very disappointed. I asked for dip but she didn't have the color I wanted in dip. She told me that she had a similar color in shellac and that she could put it over the clear dip. ONE DAY LATER and my nails looked like this. $55 and a $15 tip. This is unacceptable. read more

This place is great! They took me right away and fix my too long dip nails! They were super nice and didn't try to over charge!

We just moved to the area and had never been to Magic Nails before. We went there after Jolie nails didn't honor our web appointment and asked us to come back the next day. We went to Magic as they take walk-ins. Jenny was my nail/massage tech and she is absolutely amazing. I purchased the deluxe pedicure with 15 minute shoulder massage and I felt like a new person when I left. Jenny is a reflexologist and was able to get rid of my headache while doing my pedicure. I am so glad Jolie nails screwed up my appointment. I can't wait to go back. Thank you Jenny!!! read more

While choosing a nail color on the wall they handed me the color samples for the upgraded nail polish (+$3) that is suppose to last longer. I didn't say anything because I decided to give it a try. The toe polish lasted a week before starting to chip. Very nice people even though they basically upsold me on polish. Wouldn't go back. read more

I stopped in for a pedicure on a Saturday after calling other places and they were all full. I was seated in a pedicure chair within a few minutes. The basic pedicure was nice- scrub, lotion, hot towel and hot stones! Really nice and didn't feel that rushed although the women doing it seemed slightly annoyed. She didn't talk at all, which I like, and the place looked clean. My friend who came in with me and wanted a manicure waited about 20 Minutes before being seen. I'd go back as the pedicure was cheap- $28- and my feet feel good!! read more

I liked the shellac manicure I received, the owner seemed nice, place itself seemed ok. The issue I had was that one of my nails was cracked and needed a repair which was done nicely however I was charged a total of $50 for a simple shellac + repair when their price said otherwise. I should have said something then but because she was nice I tipped her $10 and left. I am not sure if it was an honest mistake but I won't be going back. read more

Went with my daughter to Magic Nails today. It was an impulsive decision to go and get pedicures. They definitely take walk-ins. It was later afternoon midweek and they were not too busy. Why I WILL go back: 1) Super friendly. 2) Free cold beverages 3) They offer 6 different types of pedicures. From basic to more deluxe styles some which include the warm stones wrapped around your legs. 4) The staff's English was excellent, I prefer to be able to easily communicate, when interacting with someone. I have been to several nail establishments, where the girls did not speak English at all. 5) For me, Magic Nails is less than a mile from my home. I look forward to going back to Magic Nails. read more

I paid a total of $40 for a mani with French nails and a pedi on 10-24, thought it was a great deal-WRONG!!! The owner did my nails and the very next day the white part of the french nail was chipping and by Saturday night, my niece's wedding, my nails looked terrible. I went in yesterday and all they would offer me is a re-do, no refund. The owner said that they warn people that a regular manicure (versus a shellac) is not guaranteed to last ( One Day?!!). I will add that my daughter had the same french mani/ pedi by another employee and her nails look fine. Don't go here, there are plenty of other better places to spend your hard earned money. read more

I am a regular customer and am very happy with the service there. The staff always does a great job with my nails and I love the shellac with the gel - I've received many compliments on it, although it does cost a bit more than just the acrylic. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because of issues with staff that other people I brought had - a bit rude to my one gf who was asking too many questions, but she never had her nails done before, and when I brought my teenage niece one time, they provided some services that she agreed to, although I was the one paying. It is recommended that you make an appointment in advance, especially at times before holidays and during the weekend. read more

I've been going here for years, but only about once or twice a year. The owner is so sweet and always remembers me. It's the only place I'll get my nails done because they do such a nice job. They also have all the new stuff when it comes out, so you can get whatever is on trend. The prices are also very fair. I stopped by this nail shop to get a fill in. I mentioned I wanted a coffin shape to the nail tech. As she was filing my nails down, they started to look more narrow than usual so I said something. But she insisted it was coffin shaped. It's more of an almond shape. It was decent but not what I wanted. Then I asked for gel polish. It seem like she was rushing because she put polish on my cuticles and told me it would come off as time goes on. It didn't so it looks sloppy. They were nice but I do not prefer this shop read more

That was the worst manicure of my life. It cost $15 and they added $3 more for no reason. They didn't clean up the manicure unless asked. They were very rude and rushed us when it was only us. They had either too cold, too hot, or dirty water. They cut our nails on a diagonal and too short. They didn't paint the whole nail and didn't fix them if they were messed up. Highly don't recommend. I have received the best service here. Jen is very nice but more importantly she is competent. Last year she noticed my toenail was split. She informed me of it and recommended using acrylic to hold the nail in place and help it to heal. It worked, but unfortunately today when I went she notice that it started again. She is the only one who has noticed this problem and suggested a solution. No other manicurist had said or suggested anything. Honestly, I don't want to change because I do not know if anyone else would notice or care to help my problem. read more

Wanted a full set of acrylic. Was told that gel nails are better. I said OK. I found out that they used acrylic anyways and charged me $10 more because of the "better product". Just disappointed that I was lied to and my nails are about a 1/8 of an inch thick. Not something you want to pay $35 bucks for. Our favorite nail place around! I'm surprised to see so many negative reviews, as my mom and I have been going regularly for years (5+) for pedicures, every 6-8 weeks and the place is always busy! They are friendly people and are gentle and precise with their work, compared to some places that are rude, too rough, or just try to get through it quickly. I started coming here to get my nails done after going to another place down the street because the other place kept booking appointments for me and when I'd get there, even with an appointment scheduled, I would have to wait 30 minutes or more. I'm so glad that happened though or else I never would have come to Magic Nails and I love this place. They are so friendly and personable and have given me the best service. I was pleasantly surprised after reading the other reviews at the service I received here. They were fast and very friendly. I get designs on my nails and the tech was willing to make adjustments to the design until I was happy. Nail polish selection is not the best but plenty of choices with great summer colors. I will continue to come here as it is inexpensive and my nails look great! I went in the afternoon and did not have to wait. My kind of establishment. They even go the extra mile on their pedicure with warm towel wraps and massage! I left feeling renewed and have gotten several comments on my nails! read more

Very disappointed with this place. If you want a nice pedicure with design then by all means try out Tracy who works there. She is great at creating designs by hand w/o the use of machines on your feet. I recently stated getting my nails done and found same issue as the other reviewer they don't put enough acrylic on the nail and I actually felt my natural nail burn underneath as she was sculpting it smooth. The nail polish too did not last long and only after a few days I text my regular nail girl and she's trying to charge me to fix nail polish. Then she moves on to tell me that shellac is better so that would be extra $10 to the price. I mean seriously?! I have these nails barely a week and they want to charge to change nail polish or better yet goto shellac instead. Just not cool looking for a better place at reasonable prices and not have to keep charging! read more

Gross, Unclean. The only thing magical about it was that i did not get a staph infection! Did not even wear gloves work on hands or feet. And did not wear a mask doing my gel nails with all that dust. Not busy for a reason. It's disgusting. The reason i gave it one star was because no one is there so you will be able to get in if you have a nail emergency. read more
