After reading the online reviews, I decided to give this place a try -- and I completely regret it. I scheduled a Gel Polish appointment weeks in advance for 11:35 AM. When I arrived, I was told to wait. After 10 minutes, I was directed to a section to sit, but no gel color booklet was given to me. A person then came over and ask, "Do you know what color you're going with?" I replied, "No, I need to look at the booklet to decide." I continued waiting until 11:50 AM. At that point, I walked out -- 15 minutes past my scheduled appointment. I could understand a delay if I were a walk-in, but not for a booked appointment. I drove 27 minutes for this terrible experience. Their tools looked dirty, and the overall place didn't feel clean. My only concerns were around cleanliness. For example, the same shaping tool used for everyone. Also, I noticed he did not soak my nails long enough to get them clean. I've been to Blush a few times now and I love it! I'm new to getting my nails done, but my natural nails have reached a nice length so I want to keep them in tact. I had some anxiety about asking for what I wanted but everyone has been so kind and patient and I've gotten exactly what I asked for each time. They have SO many gorgeous colors to choose from and I've gotten a couple designs that turned out amazing! I appreciated that my first time there my nail tech switched with someone else rather than trying to do a design and wasn't comfortable with. I've been going every 2-3 weeks and my polish hasn't chipped at all. I also brought my 3.5 year old in for her first manicure and they were wonderful with her! She had regular polish with a polka dot design and it lasted a solid week... if you're familiar with the disgusting habits of toddlers, you know that's saying a lot! Lastly, when I went in most recently they had their dog in the salon! The adorable dog was so well behaved and just pranced up and down before laying in the middle of the floor. Absolutely the worst experience! Leslie did my nails and she had the worst attitude from the moment I sat down, did not ask me to select my color. My appointment was at 1:30 for gel x fill and she was done @ 1:55pm! Did not clean my cuticles , did not buff my nails, applied one coat of polish . Felt she rushed thru my appointment! My worst mani pedi experience. Long description ahead. I am 37 weeks pregnant, struggling to reach my own toes and I let them get quite long at this point. I figured I'd have my nails professionally done before baby is born so I wouldn't have to worry about it for a while. I made an appointment online the night before for a standard/regular mani pedi combo, showed up on time today. On the online form I chose "any technician" because this is my first time here. There were several people being serviced when I stepped inside. A guy checked me in, told me I could grab a drink from the fridge, and called for someone to come start my pedi. At first, it seemed like everything was fine. The girl that approached me acted flustered but was very nice. She did ask if the temperature of the jet water and towels were ok and made sure she got the color polish I wanted for my toes, which are included in a regular pedi. The more I settled into the chair, the less attention I paid to the details of her work. There were videos on the tv screens there and I was texting my husband. I tried to just relax. A couple of times when she was clipping my toenails, it felt painful but only for a moment. I didn't think much of it. However, when she used a scrub on my foot, she used so much force it really hurt and I winced at the pain but she didn't say anything about my reaction. She repeated on the other foot. The hard scrub went all the way back beyond my heels to behind my ankles, which felt like my skin was being scrubbed off. As soon as she took my feet out of the water, she used a hot towel on them which soothed the pain. Then I was surprised that she started applying polish right away. In my mind, it felt rushed but I figured she knew what she was doing. After helping me into my flip flops, she led me to the table for a mani. I had already cut my own fingernails before this appointment so all she had to do was help remove some leftover bits of old polish I had and neaten up my cuticles a bit. During this time, the backs of my ankles stung really badly so I kept looking down at them. She inquired about it and I told her my skin was bleeding. Either she didn't hear me or didn't understand, I don't know. She didn't respond, just continued what she was doing. I shrugged it off. She asked me 3 times what color I wanted for fingernails. I had to repeat that not only was it not included in the regular mani service description, I didn't want any color on my hands. She then told me, "ok then you are done". I waited at the seat thinking the original guy who checked me in would come to take care of my payment but he didn't and this girl stood by the register. She didn't say anything but kept standing there so I went over to pay. She entered the wrong things in the card machine several times and fiddled with it a lot before it reflected what I thought were the correct services. I paid and opted to leave an 18% tip because I thought that was customary. Due to being super pregnant, I fell asleep as soon as I got home from the mani pedi for several hours. When I woke, I wanted to admire my nails. Unfortunately, the polish had "melted" or disintegrated and got all over my toes. My toenails were also a mess - they were clipped in random spots so that they all looked weirdly jagged, uneven, and had sharp edges. The backs of my heels still hurt and had raw bloody spots. Only my hands felt and looked fine. Honestly, I was shocked at how my pedi turned out. I don't understand how anyone, especially someone in the industry, would think it's ok to let someone leave the salon in that condition. I definitely couldn't live with my feet in that condition so I removed the polish at home and spent so much effort getting around my pregnant belly to fix the botched-up clip job. It was so bad. I absolutely hate confrontation so I'd rather not call to complain about this terrible service, but it would not be right to leave it unknown that this happened. I don't know the name of the girl who did my mani pedi but no matter what her situation is, this is an unacceptable result for what I paid for. I am taking this as a cost loss and am so disappointed. Rating: 4.5/5, but bumping it to a 5. I came here two Fridays ago and was able to score a late afternoon appointment after scheduling the morning of. The interior was clean and spacious, and most of the nail technicians here are young so it made conversing a lot easier. One of my quips is that I couldn't find the price for nail services online, but I really wanted to get my nails redone. Hopefully, they update their pricing somewhere soon! I requested a Christmas green/evergreen color on all my nails except my ring fingers (rose-gold sparkled color instead). I had a great conversation with my nail technician (Alan) who didn't mind that I knew absolutely nothing about nails and that I was tense most of the manicure, HAHA. He cared about making sure my nails looked nice and presentable (more than I did, lmao) so I really appreciated the effort. He also shaped my nails very nicely. Overall, I had a pleasant time at Blush and thought Alan did a great job. My only quip is that I was there for a bit more than two hours, which is more than I had expected. My previous gel polish also took awhile to remove, so in the end, the gel removal + gel polish was $40 (got charged a bit extra for having a longer gel removal). It is a bit more expensive than other nail salons, but only by a few dollars. I'd recommend Blush if you are looking for a nail salon with young technicians that do a good job. It's been two weeks since I've gotten my nails done, but they still look fantastic (no chips or cracks). Because Alan did such a good job, I probably don't need a new manicure for at least another week! read more

I had my first ever appointment at Blush on Saturday, 11/30 and unfortunately it was a subpar experience. I appreciated the ease with which I was able to make an appointment, the cleanliness of the salon and the overall color selection but my overall first impression wasn't great. I had requested a builder gel manicure and was able to get that done. However, all I wanted was to have a cat eye nail color done on top of the builder gel and that's a service the salon offers/promotes on their IG page. So I figured it would be easily attainable given that they appear to do this service frequently. Unfortunately, my nail tech seemed to not be familiar with this technique. He had other members of the salon come and demonstrate how to achieve this technique, but even after that he couldn't complete my request. So he told me I had to pick something else or I could start from scratch. I ended up getting glitter slapped over the black polish already on my nails (which was poorly applied since it wasn't meant to be visible under the cat eye color) and called it a day. While I was given a slight discount on my manicure, I was still disappointed that my original request was unable to be filled. Amazing service and amazing nails . I am new to getting my nails done but am still pretty picky about the time spent and the quality. I do builder gel and I don't like it to be super thick, also i hate spending more than 1.5-2 hrs getting it done . And let me tell you they look so extremely natural and the shape & length and thinness is absolutely perfect. You can tell that they care and have passion for what they do here . I got lucky enough to have David do my nails (thought i booked an appt and didn't but he still accommodated me and didn't make me feel bad about it what so ever!) we actually didn't realize until the end of the appointment that i didn't have one lol. Either way perfect ! I will definitely tell everyone I know about this place . Also soooo clean and sooo welcoming !!!! I want to preface this by saying I am a picky person. With that being said, I arrived to my appointment at 5:32pm and wasn't taken until nearly 6pm. I didn't mind the wait and everyone was super nice. Ani did my nails and I have to say she is really clean and did a good job on the manicure and pedicure itself. However, the application of the gel is poor and my nails are bumpy because there was quite a bit of powder in the lamp thing. I also asked for a design which she helped pick after showing her a couple options. After seeing blush nail bars instagram and considering she helped me pick the design I thought she was gonna kill it! She didn't do a terrible job but, it isn't what I asked for. I asked her to fix it a couple times but she didn't understand because of the language barrier. So, her coworkers stepped in. It isn't terrible looking but I had high expectations. Especially, after looking through their instagram page. Between the language barrier, being there for 3 hours, the bumpy shellac, and the subpar design. I would not return. My recent pedicure with Samantha was awesome. She noticed immediately that many nails were uneven and shaped differently...all from a previous crappy pedicure elsewhere. She corrected the shape of my nails and helped me to select a polish. They have so many colors to choose from. The salon was bright and clean and Samantha was very friendly.
