Just got an acrylic soak off and gel mani + pedi with chrome finish, and it came to $120??? It's no way. I knew it was bs because she didn't even ask if I wanted to tip. I tried to find a price list but couldn't but it's no way that the service I received amounted to that. No complaints on the nails but they should not be able to charge what they want, when they want! I was the only one in there so I guess they thought they'd upcharge me for the slow day. I am writing a review on K nails unfortunately my experience was not the best. I arrived at my set appointment and waited almost 35 minutes Before being called over to start doing my nails. The person who did my nails name was Van each nail is a different shape she used a big thick glob of dipping powder she did not know what she was doing. On the side of each nail are white spots where she missed ugh just awful! In addition instead of clipping my hang nails she picked them off with her fingers! I was there 2.5 hrs and left with a awful job my fingers hurt really bad I took 2 Motrin this was my experience completely disappointed customer read more

One star is way too high. Been here multiple times before but today's pedicure experience was the WORST pedicure of my life. Tech was unfriendly never said a word, very rough w buffer and clippers - I was flinching and jumping most of the time / then when it came time to hose down my legs with water she aimed SCALDING hot water onto my left leg! I screamed out in pain and she said, too hot? I said yes it's too hot! The manager came over and asked what happened - I told him, she finished up and said, I checked water first. I said, no you did not. Gave me a "discount", I left and will never be back. My leg still hurts with a one inch burn mark on my lower leg. read more

i made my appointment with who i believe was the owner and they switched me because she couldn't do acrylic. that was fine. i made my appointment for 3:15... didn't get seen until 3:40! i had work at 5. i wanted a gel full set and they wouldn't tell me which colours were gel because they said gel and shellac were the same... they are not the same. i wanted gel because it lasts longer and is more durable. every nail guy said they are the same. so while the man doing my nails was filing he started BLOWING ON THEM! with his mouth! i was soooo shocked. that is disgusting. he went on to do it while he painted my nails. along with putting his finger in his ear and wiping his nose on his shirt. i kept asking to go shorter because i don't like long acrylics and he said i couldn't because then they wouldn't be right. now i can see right through them before the painted tip and they are much too long. i felt uncomfortable but i did not say anything because i had somewhere to be. then he told me my total was $66 without writing it down and calculating it. that seemed very high for what i got, (almond french tip). at pearl nails i payed $70 for almond french tip plus multiple designs on every finger. i would not recommend k nails or you should ask to see a girl. read more

Came in for a pedicure. Had an appointment and I still had to wait 40 minutes. Totally skipped on some of the basic expectations from a pedicure. My nail tech never checked under my toenails (big toe) or sides for skin/nail removal. Service says a foot massage was included but that did not happen. Did not even finish with cuticle oil. I arrived at my appointment time I waited 1hour before they called my name then the guy started doing my nail but I had an appointment with a lady.The guy (I think his name is Rayan)is very rude. He started doing my nail in between I don't know what happened to him he refused to do the nail, what a baby!! I never seen a guy act like a such a baby. I don't recommend this place to anyone. So on June 17 I was beyond excited to get my nails done professionally again due to the Covid-19 lock down. I have been coming to this salon for almost two years and really never had any problems. Since this was the first week of the salon being back opened I made an appointment for 10:00am for Dip manicure and a pedicure. I arrived on time and had to wait 10-15 minutes. Ok no worries I'm still pumped about getting my nails done. The new owner is the one doing my finger nails for the dip. She said she could only do one of my hands at at time because I was touching my phone and she was worried about Covid. This was rather surprising and hypocritical due to the fact that she was servicing other customers constantly while she completing my nails. So I had to wash my hands before being serviced but you the manager don't have to wash nor sanitize yours while finishing other customers, cashing out customers or answering the phone many times all in between my nail appointment. Umm ok. When she was finished with my hands I was asked to move over to the pedicure chair for my pedicure. My actually pedicure went ok until I asked if they could provide a little bit more TLC to my cuticles. The male staff member was uncomfortable about the request and asked the owner to cut them instead. She told me one moment because she was finishing someone else. Once again I responded with no worries. However, that "one moment" turned into waiting for 20-30 minutes for her to come back to finish the half completed pedicure. After already waiting 20-30 minutes she finally comes back only to tell me that she is going to complete two customers eyebrows that just walked in and come back to me to finish the pedicure. What happened next literally left me speechless. The customer sitting next to me lets the staff know that her water was not comfortable with being too hot or too cold. Bon Jovi then scoops the water from her pedicure bowl into my pedicure bowl as I'm STILL sitting there. The first time he did this I was beyond speechless because I couldn't believe this was happening but then he collected another scoop of water and continued to empty her water into mine. Beyond disrespectful!!!! That's when I lost it and decided to leave.... enough was enough at that point. As a loyal customer that's been coming every 2-3 weeks for almost two years I was beyond disappointed in my last and final experience. On a positive note....I will have to say Liz and Jess were always beyond helpful and kind when I had an actual appointment with them. read more

I'm surprised this place is still in business. I've been coming here for years, only because it's right down the street from my house, but the lack of quality in their services and rudeness of the employees over the past few months has been getting so increasingly unacceptable, that it's prompted me to take my business elsewhere. Most of the girls are extremely unfriendly and just downright snobby. Once while getting a fill, I had an issue with the fact that the technician filed my nails completely unevenly, and asked her if she could please fix it. Instead of apologizing, she argued with me saying that they weren't uneven from her perspective. Even so, if I think they're uneven, I'm the customer, I'm paying you, and if I want something fixed, it should be fixed--no questions asked and certainly without an argument (especially if you're expecting me to tip you!). I've had blood drawn during manicures, my eyebrows completely messed up with bare spots from waxings, and I find it extremely unprofessional that they take naps on the couch in the waxing room. As someone who works in the customer service industry and therefore, doesn't complain too often about businesses or one-time bad experiences--I say stay far away from this establishment. read more

Very unhappy. Not only did they make me wait over 30 minutes after my SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT, but my mom got the exact same thing the day before me, down to the exact same color, and they charged me way more than her. While I was there they painted another customer's fingernails and toenails two different colors when she asked for the same. I feel the last two reviews may be a bit unfair. Yes the employes may make some comments about few, but not every customer that walks through those doors are professional or courteous. The quality of the place is good, and the staff in my opinion are alright as well. And about the waxing room napping thing; I do agree that it may seem unprofessional, but the way the staff is run is more of a free range to as you can sort of thing. Work is done through scheduled appointments, and if there are no expecting customers, then why is it such an issue that the tired workers catch a few winks? Things in life come up and sometimes you don't make your appointment, but to be told that you can no longer book an appointment because you were a no show and rescheduled too many times is just rude and unacceptable. I love this salon and the people are very friendly and courteous. Liz is my regular salon worker (although I have been seen by others in the salon as well) and does my pedicures and shellac. She is very friendly, not nosy or unprofessional at all (per the other reviewer) and takes her time. Even when I was brand-new, Liz did a thorough job.
