I'm not interested" the guy is an absolute fool who takes business personal. This guy needs mental help.

However, things took a turn for the worse when he expanded into outdoor masonry. First, he initially quoted us $600 for the work in writing, but later realized it would take longer and demanded $1200 instead. We agreed, being understanding customers. Then, upon inspection, it was clear that the work wasn't done properly. There was a large gap in one of the walls that they had mis-measured, and Nicholas said he would fix it, but only if we paid him substantially more money. To make matters worse, the area where the repairs were done had a bed of ground ivy nearby, and after it rained, we were shocked to find that the ivy was covered in a solid sheet of concrete. We had to hire someone else to carefully remove it as Nicholas stopped responding to our messages. And if that wasn't enough, when we hired Nicholas to clear our patio, deck, and walkways before hosting a neighbor's wedding, which he was also serving as a contractor for, he demanded several hundred more dollars just two days before the event, threatening to back out if we didn't comply. In summary, while Nicholas may be a nice guy, his ability to price work, the quality of his masonry work (including clean-up), and his ethical willingness to deliver on written agreements is simply awful.

In November 2023, I called them, and Anthony (manager and co-owner) came over to assess my lawn. He spent 45 minutes with me going over my needs, but since it was approaching winter, nothing could be done at that point. In particular, Anthony identified a weed that my previous lawn care provider could not treat with their products. Overall, I was very impressed with his professional and courteous demeanor. Absolutely no hard selling whatsoever. Even after the on-site visit, Anthony answered a few follow-up emails from me. In April 2024, I contacted Heroes Lawn Care again, and Anthony remembered our conversation. He was willing to make a second visit to my lawn to review the current situation. A few days later, Anthony sent me a quote for the lawn services I needed that was very competitive. It took me 2.5 weeks to respond back to hire them, but Anthony was still able to honor the quote. I hired them for my lawn care, and slowly, the lawn started to come back from its sorry state. The summer, however, informed me that I need a sprinkler system. I called them for a sprinkler quote, and Anthony sent back a quote shortly. It was notably very competitive compared to other vendors I checked with. The sprinkler system they had is computerized, so you can program the watering schedule, and if connected to your internet, it can check the weather and adjust its water schedule. There was a parts problem with the sprinkler system after installation, and I diplomatically contacted them. They sent their technician to fix the problem without any hassle. In spring/summer 2025, the sprinkler and lawn care have kept my lawn green and the weeds are not sprouting as often. Lastly, I grew tired of using wood mulch, and started to switch to rubber mulch, but I only had so much time and stamina to place mulch myself, so I asked them to give me a quote to finish what I started. The quote was reasonable, and Anthony took the time to explain the costs. The crew came, removed weeds from the areas that needed rubber mulch, placed the mulch, and did clean up work. Our landscaping area is no longer overrun with weeds and looks tidy. I would still highly recommend giving Heroes Lawn Care a call for your lawn care.

Worst service I've ever had. The owner made a big thing to see the driveway to get it plowed…read morecorrectly. The last three guys were not given any instructions how to plow the driveway , which was explained to the office before the first snow fall. In addition, they spread salt on my walk way and drive way, when they were expressly told not to because of my dog, but they ignore my request and hurt my dog! The owner doesn't like his staff being told what they should do or not do. I placed snow polls, as request and they either plowed over them or ignored them in areas that the snow needed to be back bladed verses plowed. Basically they made a mess. The owner failed to instruct his employee's several times what do at this address. Do not hired Whitetail Landscaping.
