Worst service I've ever had. The owner made a big thing to see the driveway to get it plowed correctly. The last three guys were not given any instructions how to plow the driveway , which was explained to the office before the first snow fall. In addition, they spread salt on my walk way and drive way, when they were expressly told not to because of my dog, but they ignore my request and hurt my dog! The owner doesn't like his staff being told what they should do or not do. I placed snow polls, as request and they either plowed over them or ignored them in areas that the snow needed to be back bladed verses plowed. Basically they made a mess. David is so professional and such a nice person. He not only got back to me very quickly, he also gave me a very fair price. We had a lot of rain which puts things on hold obviously but he always kept in touch with me to update me at every step and let me know when he and his team would be able to do the job. His team cleaned all of the debris from my yard and it looked as clean as it did before. I want to add about the customer service, I parked my car at my neighbors house the night before (they didn't ask me to, I just knew I had to leave early so I didn't want to get in their way). Not only did David have his crew help to stop cars so my baby and I could cross the street safely (busy road), but one of his very sweet workers even brought her carrier across for me and to my car. Dave and his team were terrific. They expertly removed a huge, rotting tree that was in the line of our house, our garage, and our shed. There was very little room for error, and they completed the job masterfully. In the initial consult, Dave also noticed something I had missed -- a very big and very dead branch overhanging a parking spot. I'm grateful it was removed, because it could have come down on my car from the weight of ice in the storm we just had. I am writing this review to prevent others from encountering the same issues we encountered with this contractor and his company. We hired this company to repair our driveway, steps and pavers back in April of 2016. The owner, David Coene was around and in contact with my husband until he received full payment for a job that was not finished and far from satisfactory. As a contractor himself, my husband believed and trusted Mr. Coene's work ethics to be honest. What a sad and horrible mistake!! it is not 14 months later and God knows how many calls since, that Mr. Coene has not come back to finish the work nor repair what was done incorrectly. We have heard excuses such as family members passing, being understaffed, weather conditions, masons not having licenses to go to and from work sites, etc. If we are able to help one person out and have them avoid dealing with the same issue we have, then good. This company does not stand up to the "testimonials" they publish on their website. And if you contract them, DO NOT PAY IN FULL UNTIL YOU ARE 100% SATISFIED WITH THE WORK. read more
