To that, my therapist flatly responded "No, that's not enough" and entered $20 instead. When I objected, she pulled out a "suggested tips" placard from behind the counter indicating that $15 was the suggested tip amount for a 60-minute massage. However, she hastened to add, "Only women leave me $15, if you are a man, you leave $20." I was dumbstruck, and frankly I should have grabbed my card right then and there and walked out due to her rudeness. But, due to the awkwardness of the situation, instead I only reiterated that I wanted to leave $10. In a huff, she entered $11 (not $10) and completed the transaction before I could stop her. Wanting to extricate myself from this incredibly uncomfortable situation as quickly as possible, I made no further argument and turned to leave. As I was leaving, she told me, "Next time you get massage somewhere else. You no come here again!" They won't have to worry about that. Buyer beware.
