Kia is a Vivid Hair Specialist who has transformed my hair from its natural brown to teal, then pink with extensions, and now purple with a silver money piece! She's super sweet, and she's always been very realistic with me about what kind of maintenance certain colors or cuts need. (Despite how it may seem, I like low maintenance even though I still want fun colors.) For the time and service she provides, her rates are very reasonable. I've looked forward to every visit with her, and I feel like my self-confidence has grown not just because of my beautiful hair but also because of her positive and empowering outlook! Ariel is an amazing nail artist! I was never one to get my nails done regularly (low maintenance, like I wrote), but when I was getting my hair done, I'd see Kia's nails (always done by Ariel), and they were literally fantastic. So I gave it a whirl and got some fancy nails for a business trip. And then I asked for some fun nails for a wedding. The more I visited the salon, the more I enjoyed the ladies that worked there and the energy that I felt, and the more I wanted to come back. Now I come every 4 weeks for Ariel to do my nails. Each time I come with an idea or inspiration from Instagram, and Ariel makes magic. She's a true artist! I've never had her repeat a design in the nearly 2 years I've been going, and she's never once told me she wasn't capable of doing something I asked for. Even when I've arrived late (more often than I care to admit), she's been wonderfully kind and patient with me. Between these two wonderful ladies, I feel more beautiful and feminine than ever. I truly feel like they're my friends, and I'm so grateful to have found them and that I get to benefit from their expertise.

My hair was pretty long, almost to my butt, but didn't look nice because last December i went randomly into a franchise and took the next available appointment, thinking "what could go wrong?" I get that those are starter jobs for newly minted stylists and i won't name the place because maybe that person is better now. Anyway that was a total waste of money... so i tried Coco, she seemed very experienced so at some point i just trusted the process and my hair came out very beautifully in more complex cut than i would have imagined on myself.
