A causal "do you want a little red in it" ? For me meant my very dark brown that she would add some red undertones. Instead I ended up with "carrot" colored roots and dark brown ends and no recognition that this was a mess up. Heidi offered to put in some highlights (which she charged me for to "help with the fact that it looked broken". Did this on the day before I headed out for Christmas travel. When I got back I reached out about a fix- which she charged me for and was defensive and never admitted to anything being wrong. Just stated the hair had grown out and the roots needed treatment. The pictures speak for themselves. You guys make your own opinion on if the before pictures are worth over $270 not including that I did tip on the first go round. I found an awesome new salon in Ventura and the stylist spend almost 5 hours correcting Heidi's work. read more

I spontaneously decided to color my hair this past week, and Heidi was able to fit me in soon! This was also my first time coloring my hair which was extremely easy with Heidi. She offered a way we could color my hair without the need of bleach so it can stay healthy and I am super happy with the results. As for following cdc guidelines, she was practicing social distancing by scheduling accordingly, providing hand sanitizer, sanitized her station thoroughly, and we both used masks throughout the process. Heidi was so easy to talk to I felt comfortable the moment we met and she took time to listen to what I wanted and really looked at my hair to see what she'd be working with. I had not been in a salon in over 10 years I had a bad experience in the past but my hair needed help and Heidi did JUST that! She explained how I was damaging my hair by bleaching it at home and she have me a treatment with olaplex and wow! My hair felt so full and soft! She trimmed my hair giving it some texture and gave me long layers and was able to blend in the hair I chopped off due to over bleaching.
