We love taking the kids to the Magical Bridge Playground at Red Morton! It's such an amazing and inclusive space with tons of fun features for kids of all ages and abilities. There's always something exciting for them to explore, and they truly never get bored. It does get pretty busy on nice days, and while it's well-designed, there is limited shade in some areas--so we definitely recommend bringing hats, sunscreen, and maybe even a little pop-up umbrella or sun cover if you plan to stay a while. Overall, it's one of our favorite parks in the area. The thoughtfulness behind its design is clear, and the joy it brings to kids is priceless. Highly recommend for families!

I took my daughter to this park for the first time last week and we loved it. This playground had a rock structure with water play. My daughter had so much fun. There are also multiple slides of different styles that are also pretty neat. There is a building with artificial cakes and food so the kids can play kitchen, restaurant, or bakery. There's an area with pretty neat swings of different styles and they are all inclusion swings. This park really caters to kids of all ages and disabilities. There's baby swings along with more water play on the other side of the park as well as a large field. I will definitely come back to this park to show my son. It is an awesome park.

Great playground, various things for kids to do. Different sections and zones. Cardboard boxes for the hills made it seem dirty, wish parents who let kids bring them cleaned up.

I was initially very excited to see this park built because inclusive play is important. I would drive by to see the progress and once it opened I stopped by with my kids. The park was EXTREMELY PACKED! Not an empty play structure in sight. I came when it was warm so the sun was booming on the entire playground. The house is probably the only spot that gets decent shade. We checked out all the play structures and I was excited to see the swings and other areas set up for those who are in wheelchairs and have other needs can access them. There's a water area that is super POPULAR. There were kids running around everywhere so it was hard to enjoy playing on the park. All of the swings were busy and when I came back the same people and groups were still hovering over them. The park is cool but it took up too much space from what the previous Red Morton park looked like. There's less grass area for free play. When the park is busy it's not accessible. I also noticed it's not baby or toddler friendly. The kids running around are anywhere from 5 years and up. Moms and dads chatting it up not watching their kids. My recent visit my kiddo was playing on the water and some kid came and stepped on finger. Parents need to WATCH their kids and understand they aren't the only kid playing there and SHARE. This gives everyone a chance to play on things. It's the parents job to move around so other kids can access the park as well. On a hot day this is not the place to be. Red Morton used to be more diverse before this park was built. It has lost its overall appeal and is always crowded.

Great playground with plenty of street parking. I took my almost 2 year old here and it was a pretty hot day in Redwood City. There were shaded areas with Adirondack chairs where the toddler area was which was really nice for me and my son to take breaks at. There's a big water feature by the entrance and a smaller water feature in the toddler section. There were also a lot of slides and a slide where you use cardboard to ride down on which looks really fun. There are a bunch of big kid swings on the other side of the park and a musical structure. We walked around a bit but he's so small that only the toddler area was safest for him to roam and play at. Since it was summer time, there were a lot of groups of kids a bit older maybe middle school(?) that were taken there with their summer programs like YMCA and other similar organizations. There were a lot of ice cream trucks that parked over here too so that was cool. I wish there were other food trucks but there's not food allowed inside the playground itself so it's ok. There are plenty of grassy areas, some with shade, you can have a nice picnic on though. Next time I'll come ready with a blanket. I took off a star because of a lot of bigger kids that were over 5 years old kept playing and running around in the toddler section and putting a bunch of cardboard and other crap in the water play station in the toddler area. It was annoying to me because they have the rest of the park to play at and I feel like the adults that brought them there should supervise better so that smaller kids can have a safer space to run around without worry of getting trampled by running bigger kids. The toddler area itself was already fenced but didn't have a gate or anything to fully separate it. I think it's mostly the people who are suppose to be supervising kids who aren't really doing their job.

Beautiful park, great playground, and a few fields for sports. Restrooms don't get good cleaning needs improvement. 3.7/5

However, I have noticed some safety and maintenance issues lately that hold it back from being a perfect 5-star experience. My main concern is safety regarding motorized vehicles. I frequently see local teens and kids--sometimes even elementary-aged children accompanied by their parents--riding gas-powered mini bikes or loud electric dirt bikes directly on the sports fields and paved walking paths. It is unclear whether there are explicit rules prohibiting these vehicles in the park, but no one is around to monitor the situation, and it honestly feels dangerous for pedestrians, field users, and anyone on the paved paths. Additionally, while the park is well-maintained overall, certain small details need closer attention. Specifically, some of the water fountains are poorly adjusted--either barely trickling or spraying water in every direction. It's a fantastic park overall, but better patrolling, clearer safety regulations, and quicker equipment maintenance are definitely needed to keep everyone safe. 4 out of 5 stars.
