This Total Wine sits at the back of the large center that is Brentwood Place on Franklin Road…read more I have always been a fan of Total Wine, as they carry a lot of the specialty stuff that you just can't find at the more local shops. In some cases the prices are better, but not always. When I swing by, it is normally for a specialty item and this last trip was just that. And while I was on a mission, it always turns into "well, I am already here..." type of trip, so I walk out with a few classic items as well. The store is well laid out, clean and always well stocked. In addition to the booze, they offer classes, have classrooms, a beer cooler, humidor and a few other things to offer. Service is where they lost a star for me. I will say that the cashiers are always friendly and helpful, but the service I receive on the floor is never great. They always tend to have an attitude, like I am bothering them. This latest trip was no different. I asked two associates while wandering around the store and neither were very pleasant interactions. Very weird for the brand, but at least at this location, it is fairly common from my experience. It is never enough to be labeled as "bad" or "awful", but it is quite off-putting. Overall, this Total Wine location comes in clutch when needed, and it will remain a go-to for the goods, specialty or not.

Really high prices like another 5-7 dollars on top of what you would expect to pay with bigger…read morecompetitors, when I pointed this out and asked if they could throw in a drip tip because a bottle of juice was 30 dollars he balked. Didn't have pre built coils. Had only a few mods and one make and model of Rdta. It's very hard to "shop" here, because they simply don't have inventory. For some reason people think it's great to open a vape shop, because it's what they want to do, however felt like I was getting ripped off the whole time because I was being walked towards one product with a higher price point because it's all they have. Then I helped sell a gentleman a battery charger, who was on the line about buying another mod in addition to his first one because he was charging via micro USB which usually damages it over time and makes a battery charger un avoidable. But when I heard the price near a 45% percent markup I balked. They only had Un named cheap Japanese cotton with only 5 sheets was 5 dollars when you can buy a much larger supply elsewhere for that price. They and their customers would be much better off if their business would hurry up and die. They can't afford the cost of competing, because they can't afford expenses and so their cost of doing business is passed on to their consumers at rates that don't make sense to a savvy consumer. I could think of so many other better places to go. Obviously because they don't have a lot of money sunk into inventory, they really aren't doing that great, and because of that, it hard to call it a vape shop, more like a pop up.
