I needed a Santa and an Elsa for a holiday party at a yacht club to do photo shoots after a boat parade (no ballon twisting or face painting needed). It was a fairly short gig (1hr), but I was on a budget. After calling 4 other businesses, (one of whose price was outrageous, another who didn't work during the holiday season), I found Jessica. She quoted me $200 for both characters (including changing costume time) which was perfect for the budget. The service was great! Jess went above and beyond what I expected for the price, and played games with the kids. The boys gravitated to Santa (which I expected), but Elsa and Santa's presence really made the party more fun and family friendly. I would highly recommend her, and will use her again next year. 5 1/2 Stars Sometimes you run across talent that is so outstanding, so out of the norm . . . that you might not even realize what it is you are seeing. That is the level of art . . . the greatness of Jessica Yurash's creations. I was at an event a couple nights ago where Jessica set up an area where she would face paint people at the mere request of anything that you wanted to look like. I feel deeply . . . and, I sense deeply; that is my talent. I am also a collector of fine art, and I am an artist and designer myself, so I truly appreciate artistic beauty. I can just feel the divine inspiration fill Jessica the moment she looks at you and accepts your request for her to paint you. It is a magical feeling to witness this in action and to see it so clearly as when someone like Jessica works. At this event, there was a model that had been fully body painted and face painted by Jessica that was roaming and mingling with everyone. The event was at a sushi bar and dance lounge where there were perhaps one hundred people. The model was painted as a Japanese geisha-style doll to match the event. The artistry was simply magnificent! The human form, our bodies are masterpieces of design, engineering, and most of all---art. Jessica's canvas' are living, breathing human beings . . . mostly female from what I see in her portfolio. It was sexy to see a beautiful nude woman walking around our event. Yet, the great artwork upon her face and body just took your breath away. I had the privilege of receiving a face paint by Jessica and personally experienced her instantaneous creativity and the extraordinary result upon myself. I wish that I could get a full body paint from Jessica someday too. My request was to be a "Gold Space Man." Jessica took one intense look at my face and head, and in just a few minutes had the entire thing nearly done. Then she asked, "May I paint the universe on your forehead?" I was overjoyed at that question because I am a cosmologist (that's for the cosmos, not makeup) of sorts and love anything to do with space. Plus, I have a major receding hairline with a lot of real estate up there for Jessica to put a universe onto. "Yes, yes, yes", I replied. I loved the work Jessica did on me! I've been around professionally painted beauties while working at the Playboy Mansion, and I've seen outstanding work from artists and friends at Burning Man. Jeshka was the face painter and balloon artist at a birthday party we attended today, and she was great with kids and so fast (no long lines of kids waiting!)! Her face paint designs were beautiful and she had these cool unicorn horns and jeweled pieces that she makes and the kids could choose from.
