MagicTea Market is a fun little boba shop and Asian snack market in Mount Dora. I guess I wouldn't ever think this would be here, but it's just so perfect. There are tons of variety of boba drinks. The two that called my name were the strawberry lychee and the mango sago slush. Mango sago slush with cheese foam is what I chose and it was oh so good. Service was friendly and helpful. Their snacks are very cool to check out different salty and sweet snacks as well as some in the fridge area. Definitely a must stop spot when walking around all the shops in Mount Dora. read more

I loved the mango and pineapple fruit tea with peach boba. The drink was not overly sweet tasting and felt very refreshing. It was a little pricey but the quality was good. I will definitely return when I am in Mt Dora. The staff was friendly and the store was clean. The market portion is small and seemed to consist more of sweets over all else. read more

I wish I'd want to come back and give it another try. I was seriously craving boba, so I decided to skip the dole whip place next to it and come here. I looove that they have many options and flavors, and even a section with snacks and merch. However when I asked for a recommendation, the employee didn't seem excited to even recommend anything. She just went with the creme brûlée after I asked between 2 options. As for the tea itself, it doesnt tast elike crème brûlée. It's almost a vanilla flavor, but not even enough flavor to say it. The boba pearls are delicious, and thats about it. They didn't even have a napkin to provide, but at least the place is super clean. read more

Popped in for a quick treat while walking around Mt.Dora. This place was packed full of people waiting to order/receive their order. The ladies behind the counter were turning out drinks as fast as they could. The store itself was pretty interesting. They have lots of other treats to purchase-snacks, candy, drinks, ice cream, mochi, figurines, etc. once we got our order, the drinks were delicious. We frequent this boba shop often. They have two locations in the area. One in Mt Dora and the other one is in Eustis. We love both locations, but the Mt Dora Magic Tea is our favorite. They have a cute little market with Asian snacks and favorites on one side and the tea counter on the other side. There is also a a good amount of seating inside. They have many flavors and types of tea to try apart from boba tea. My daughter loves their Mochi Donuts the most. Came by Mount Dora for a quick bite and saw this boba place, surprised but needed to try it! Upon entering the staff was restocking the merchandise and cleaning up, good sign! Not all staff is nice but not mean. I love all of the various ramen's, sweets from Japan and neat trinkets. I ordered the mango slush with boba but forgot to tell the young lady no cheese, the cheese is not my favorite and wasn't a fan. The mango was ok, it was powder and ice. Nothing to write home about. I know I'm not a Boba connoisseur; however with that being said my two favorite Boba places that I go to on a daily basis are Moge Tee & Teamont in Claremont. I did see the famous TikTok of the MagicTea market and I decided to get some Boba and take a peek. Their menu is very extensive, and the store is a bit small. I ordered a lychee fruit tea with Boba. I waited about 15 minutes for my drink, and when I got it it was wrong. All I asked was for lychee tea and Boba pearls; they put the cheese foam on top which I did not ask for; I'm also allergic to cheese so that wouldn't have ended well. I asked the girl that handed me my drink if she could remake it and she said they're not allowed to do that and I told her that I couldn't drink it - she just kind of looked at me. Although I didn't get to try the Boba I did it look around their extensive Japanese snacks and candy and did purchase some. The magic tea market was just OK and that's all I have to say. read more

This is such a cute tea shop and little market. There are so many Asian goods such as unique flavored kitkat, mochi, ramune, different chips, etc. We stumbled upon it looking for a place to buy quick treats, unsurprisingly almost everything was closed, but this shop was open. We bought 6 different mochi donuts - creme brûlée, tiramisu, matcha Oreo, regular Oreo, s'mores and fruity pebbles. They all were so tasty and the texture's amazing! Got the 700 ml. Large Signature Milk Tea and then added on cheese foam topping. It was decent however I was not satisfied with the service. They do false advertising. Their menu says $4.75 and their website says $4.75 for the large size. I asked them why it was a $6 charge for just the milk tea when it didn't even have boba and they said the booklet menu just had a typo, which happens so I get it but why does the website also has a different price? The girl there asks me if I got boba and I said no and she said if I want a cheaper price then get a medium, which was so dismissive of my concerns. Can you believe the audacity she had to tell me that get a medium if I want cheaper price like what??? When I was talking about it to my friend, the servers there were rolling their eyes as if IM THE ONE WHO DID WRONG Just by ASKING A QUESTION. It wasn't even about the price being high. It was simply a clarification question. I'm not going there anymore.I feel like they are false advertising and trying to rip off the old people of mount dora. I would much rather drive to Orlando to get milk tea for much better price and service or heck go to "can't top this" in Eustis for tea which has better service. EDIT: I decided to go there a 2nd time to give them another chance. Thank you to the owner for offering a free drink (the owner is the only nice one), however I was still not satisfied with the service. The manager there INTERROGATED me in front of everyone for writing my review. people write reviews to share their VALID experience. I went there in the hopes to turn a negative experience into a positive one but instead it was turned into a more negative one. The employees were just immature and rude. as far as i know, this is the only boba shop in mount dora. i loved it! came here for their soft opening with some friends when we visited the area. the shop itself has aisles of asian snacks and drinks that you can usually only get at the asian market. there's also ample seating inside. i got the mango yakult and taro brown sugar latte. both were delicious and not too sweet. i'm impressed with the quality of the milk teas and the range in selection. i hope to be back to try more flavors :) read more

Went today and my son accidentally slipped and fell outside their store right after getting our drinks and cups are awful and bottom broke spilling everywhere. Went inside to ask if they could remake it or do anything about it, the two girls weren't helpful and couldn't careless. Said nothing they could do and have to rebuy. Either fix your cups or fix your sidewalks or have better policies. Waste of money at an establishment that aren't considerate. read more
