On my very first visit, I told them it was my first visit, but I got absolutely no help/direction with anything, including telling me where the women's locker room was or how to program the treadmill. They won't show you how to use any of the weight equipment unless you can be there at times when most people need to be at work. If you don't want to take time off from your job just to get trained on the equipment, they'll tell you to hire a personal trainer at a rate of $ 45 hour to show you how to use their equipment. These people are totally and completely unaccomodating. The girl who's supposed to work the front desk, Danielle, is too busy taking care of her little dog to actually wait on people. Unbelievable! This place hasn't a clue about what good customer service means.

As a previous member of train 4 life and USA I feel I should warn fellow ex USA members (as well as others) NOT to even consider this place as an option. Let me start by saying that you will not be greeted with the welcoming and friendly demeanor of USA. The owner is a narcissistic weasel who in the 5 years of my dedicated patronage never once extended a smile in my direction unless provoked. Other members were in agreement that he was beyond unfriendly and at times they felt like he was judging them. I have overheard him talking poorly about his clients as well. In fact, if it weren't for the amazing trainers that I met there over the years, I would've have left. I should also mention that when in did leave, (because there was a change to my program that management never disclosed) I was out over $200 which I justifiably should have been refunded and they charged me the following month bc "my husband never canceled ". I was a devoted client to that gym, going at least 5 days a week, trialing various classes/programs and even brought at least 5 new members into the place. Well I was dooped. And I know that I am not the only person to have walked away from that place beyond angry with the way they were treated and how business was conducted. I would like to add that I have NEVER in my life written a bad review about anything (it is not my style), but that is how much I strongly urge people not to buy into this poorly run establishment.

A lovely, long-time team member of ten years made a simple request to take off 3 Sundays a year. This was requested a year in advance for two occurrences, 2 months in advance for the other occurrence. Yet the instructor received a reply of "You don't have to work Sundays" which left her feeling unsupported and without recourse. Ten years of teaching Sundays, a devout following of members, and a truly gentle lady loved by all --and this is the response? Despite this, the instructor graciously offered to continue on another day with overwhelming support from gym members yet the PF team did nothing to retain this talented lady. There was also this recent incident where a man who had been reported to the management team several times prior finally went too far and licked...LICKED....a woman's hand in Zumba class. This same instructor, to my understanding, witnessed the act, went to PF management and demanded action (gym member was kicked out). I'm very thankful to her for prioritizing women's safety and also very concerned that this may be related to the handling of her request for days off. Given that the gym allows class instructor substitutions all the time, it's kind of hard not to draw the conclusion. I would love it someone of concience and caliber would swoop in and resolve this so we can all go back to happier times.
