I am trying to hold the record for most repeat attendance by an audience member-- and since they've opened, I've been 16 times now. That's because this is by far the best thing to do when you have out-of-town Reno visitors and you want to show them a really unique and fun evening! Each time I come, I see things I never noticed before because there's so much happening on stage that's wildly entertaining. From the creative staging to the gorgeous costumes to the catchy music and the special effects lighting-- not to mention the lively energy of the performer's personalities, it's all top-notch. And guess what? After viewing it all those times, I STILL have zero clue how they do these fantastic illusions. I can only conclude that life at The Theater on Keystone must be legit magical. Oh! And check out the other shows they host as well.... Terrific stuff! And if you're looking for a place to hold your own show or event, they're absolutely wonderful to work with. Wow what an amazing show, best I've ever seen and I've seen shows in Vegas. Loved the music, the magic, the dancing. Especially the vibe of the whole venue-- the people were amazing from will call to ushers to bartenders. What a happy place. The costumes were over the top cool! We had a reservation for 7 to.be front row seats and had to be pivoted around a bit so we could all sit together and the owner/magician Kevin himself called me that day personally to tell me about their plans for our excellent seats. Wow wow wow!! Very surprised by this show from the minute I walked into the theater. A very intimate theater that I had no idea even existed. Looks like a hole in the wall place on the outside but is actually very nicely done inside. Actually everything was nicely done. Wow So many Amazing costumes for both the girls and the guys, awesome soundtrack and choreography and a great mix of funny and serious parts of the show. Fantastic illusions and very likable characters. Watch out there are a lot of parts that will make you jump! Would highly recommend for a fun date night. What a hidden gem. This was our first time at the venue, went to see Reno Tahoe Comedy. Though located in a shopping center, it's what's inside that amazes. Expertly decorated throughout, including displays of the custom made dance costumes. The theater itself is small with comfy seating in an intimate setting (think a slightly larger version of the Bruka). Every seat is up close, not a bad one in the house. Kabir Singh from AGT was the headliner, great show (rated R), plenty of laughs..almost like he was performing in your living room. Looking forward to seeing Magique. If you haven't to an event here, put it on the list. Great to see such a place in the Northwest...don't forget to grab some chow at Royal India! read more

Wow what an amazing magic and dance show... we took a group of 50ish people on a field trip and everyone enjoyed it. The magic was stunning and the show was very entertaining with the dance performances, outfits, music, lighting effects... and our group truly loved the cleaning guy who came to remove the streamers during the interval and at the very end. The magicians and every performer are truly talented!! Don't miss this show... truly entertaining with fantastic talent!! I also appreciated the story told by Kevin at the end about how they were impacted by COVID times and their entrepreneurial spirit brought this entertainment and created so many jobs! If you haven't been to Magique yet, you are missing out! It's so good. I love that the show is right in your face, it's a small venue so you almost feel like you're part of the show. Amazing costumes, amazing illusions. High energy. It was fantastic. One of the best parts, at the end they gave us a quick tour with some history of the building. Don't let the Save Mart next door fool you--Magique is dazzling, professional illusionist show. Lord Curuso apparently designed all the costumes in the show, and being able to see the costumes themselves is worth the price of admission. We still can't figure out how most of the illusions happened. Definitely a must see! read more

My family and I attended the show on February 5th. We had no idea what to expect. I had never been inside the theater before, and it was so nicely done. I'm not sure how many people can fit in there, but it felt small (in a good way!) and intimate. And the show! Wow! We were in awe the whole time! My three kids loved it, and so did my husband and I. I can't say enough about how well-done the show was. The costumes were just fabulous! Kevin is very entertaining, and lord Caruso is mysterious. Thank you so much for this! I took my whole family here and everyone loved it. The pacing was great, magicians letting the dancers change costumes and the dancers letting the magicians prepare the next trick. This is a high energy show of Vegas quality. Everything from the lighting to the music to the costumes and the choreography and jokes was on point. The tricks were elaborate , making you wonder how they had done it. A must see when you are in Reno or even for locals (my family was a mix of both). Highly recommended ! Plan for about two hours including the intermission. It started a few minutes late but you should get there early as seating is FCFS within your section. We had premium seats and those offered a decent view. General seating looked pretty far away so I'd recommend premium VIP or orchestra if you can swing it and get there early. They line up an hour before. I read that they used to be in a mall , now they're in the nugget , and they said they'd be there for 3 more years. read more

The coat of tickets is worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY, if not even more. The lights, set, effects, sound system, music selections, dancing, costumes (the costumes - wow!), the magic and humor... I can't say enough great things about this show. If you're on the fence - just do it! They manage to be sexy enough while keeping it PG, appropriate in my opinion for pre-teen and up. Side note: the producers and stars of the show are local boys who brought their world-class show back home when covid hit. Bonus! P.S. PLEASE do not be those people who come in drunk and won't shut up through the show. Ugh, lame. read more

Last night my girlfriends and I went to go see Magique. This show was FANTASTIC. We absolutely loved it. It was my first magic/illusionist show I have ever gone to and we were blown away. This show is located in a strip mall theater. Do not let that stop you. This legit good show has amazing costumes, show girls, humor and illusions. We were blown away by the costumes design which were all made by one of the Illusionists from the show. This is a family friendly show and not adults only. These two guys have been at this place for three years, but have been doing a show together for 3 decades. It was awesome. Definitely go if you are in town. Worth every penny. read more

What a great show, and what a great niche theater. The magic was great, and I particularly liked the fact that with the dancers, they portray a very positive body image for women. The whole show is very thoughtfully created, the only thing I would tell you is if you are sensitive of hearing, it's a little loud. Kind of like a dance club loud at times, so I used my ear plugs as I suffer from tinittus. Super great time, great date night event. This was my first magic show! I've been to Vegas many, many times but I always went to the Cirque du Soliel shows. I also went to the beatle show I think it was called One. And the Michael Jackson show. I never really wanted to see Siegfried and Roy. I'm not a fan of animals in any sort of captivity. I've actually felt that way for a very long time...No zoos no rodeos ect. And look what happened Roy Horn! Magique was a pretty good show overall. I was super impressed with Lord Caruso and his designs and costumes. They were Epic. The theater itself was surprisingly in this horrible mall that has the worst parking mess I've ever seen. The good thing is this is very close to my home. When we walked into the place I heard a child screaming and I was like...Oh no. I was happy to get dressed up for a night at the theater. So I busted out my designer duds. Everyone else was dressed in the usual jeans attire, I didn't care at all. I mean this is Reno! It's not Broadway! The lobby had some beautiful mannequins with beautiful show~girl outfits that I assume must be Lord Caruso's work. We had front row but on the side. It's fine but the show is not facing you. We had a lovely gal sitting next to us and we had fun chatting with her. The main guy Kevin had many different costume changes...but he wore these hideous tennis shoes...I mean the guy must be in his 50's. The worst part was the constant flow of the fake smoke. It never stopped and add the fire and it was miserable. My family owned nightclubs in Chicago so I know for a fact this stuff is really bad for you! The also set off fireworks that caused some screaming, that was just dumb.I was so happy I had my mask to save me from all that smoke. It was bad, my eyes were burning. I thought the dancing was pretty good. And there was one beautiful brunette who stole the show for me. The costumes were definitely my favorite part of the show, the magic was pretty standard but also good. One last thing; the front row tickets were $50 apiece which is perfectly fine but the platform seating for $150 a pop is so not worth it and even worse side views than we had. They had some kind of bottle service but we did our drinking before the show. Just my opinion. read more

Magique was a fun show! Kevin & Caruso have boundless energy. Show was mostly person-sized illusions interspersed with smaller more intimate comedy magic bits by Kevin, with a brief intermission. The shopping mall is nothing that special on the outside, don't judge it by that, but they did a great job with the renovation making the theater waiting area and inside look first class. The Magique dancers were beautiful and talented with great costumes & choreography (designed and handmade by Caruso!). Check it out, you won't be disappointed. All seating in this little community theatre is good, so don't sweat it if you don't arrive early or can't score a VIP seat. Do yourself and friends a favor and support local creative talents (and explore outside the big casino shows!) read more

Surprisingly it was good and entertainment. We enjoyed it. Theater is small and I believed every general seating has a good view. Unfortunately for us, there couple of women in front of us was blowing out smoking cannabis and we can smell it, see the smoke when they puffs. Very fun and quaint venue! Saw the candlelight concert series here, performing the Nutcracker. They had fun decor in the lobby as well as a small table selling drinks. They had a decent selection and everyone working was very nice! Seats were comfortable but it seemed like the arm rests were put in backwards because the cup holders were tucked into the seat instead of on the ends. Didn't know if that was on purpose or not. read more

The show was fabulous!! There were 6 in our party and we all had a wonderful time. We loved the costumes and dance routines as well as the magic. We truly could not figure out how any of the magic was done. I would definitely go again and highly recommend it to anyone. It would be nice to have some sodas that are sugar-free in the snack bar. And it did seem that the show was overbooked as numerous chairs had to be brought out. We were unable to sit w/all of our group because ushers allowed others into the theater before us even though we were in line first. However, it was nice to have a bathroom break at halftime. Additionally, I enjoyed the performers coming out to meet the audience after the show finished. read more
