Amazing experience for my friend and I. All the performers were so kinda and so so fun to watch. Definitely worth going to if you want to have some fun. A performer even came up on our booth area which was very exciting!! For "food" they have popcorn and a mini bar inside a side room! The ambiance was really nice, seats comfy, perfectly arranged for everyone to see.

I probably don't need to add yet another five star review for how great this Kevin and Caruso Magique show is. Friends suggested we see it, and thinking it was just another illusion show, we were blown away by the scale and quality of the performance - not just "magic", but beautiful dancers in amazing costumes. Kevin Jeffrey is the host of the show and has the perfect look and voice for the part. (He reminded us of actor/comedian Jeff Daniels.) Lord Caruso plays his silent stunt partner (like "Teller" of "Penn and Teller") and is the creative genius of the elaborate costumes. You would never expect such an amazing performance at an intimate theater next to a supermarket in a little strip mall. In my opinion it outperforms most of the shows at Reno's large casinos!

The jewel in the crown of Reno performing arts is The Theatre! Home to Kevin & Caruso's Magique and so much more. We went to see the candlelight event, and even tho it really wasn't our jam, we were struck by how impressive The Theatre is. The history of this space is so unique and fun to those of us who've always called Reno home and have seen shows here (ahem, Rocky Horror waaaayyy back when!!) From greeting to the ticket window, concessions to the ushers, its a lovely, intimate place for shows like the candlelight series and surely, Magique slays here! The decor in the lobby offers a glimpse of the glamour of the show. If you have a chance to see something here, go! Feel decades of performing arts history surge through you and take in the talents of Kevin & Caruso!

Great show! Funny, exciting, sexy! Will come back again and bring friends. The cast was great to talk with after the show.

Black box theatre in a strip wall exceeded my expectations! We saw Magnifique on a Saturday evening. The illusionists, dancers, costumes, music and show were entertaining and high caliber! Not really a bad seat in the theatre. The show is two 45-min halves with a brief intermission. Drinks and snacks served. They make it fun!

Fantastic illusion show. It was much more than I expected. The seating is great and no matter where you sit is a great spot. The show was 2 hours long and they keep you entertained the whole time. The people who check you in and help you find your seats are very smiley and helpful. It did get a little warm in there about halfway through but overall comfortable. They do have snacks and drinks available for purchase.

Pro's: No bad seats in this intimate and fun venue. Con's: I found their website did not list ALL upcoming shows...just their long-running Magique show. I would like to see everything that is coming. Go back? Absolutely More... I love this venue so much, I am likely to buy a ticket to the Magique show...and I do not typically enjoy magic shows. This is the second time I have been here and I will go to ANYTHING interesting that is going on there. They have a nice bar and some snacks, too.

Won tickets for the Magique show and took friends to check it out. Lots of free parking since it's in the shopping center with the Savemart. We arrived before the box office opened at 7 pm and there was already a dozen ppl in line. The entrance looked like a hole in the wall place but once you enter it has a classy feel to it. All of the staff from checking in at the box office, concession stand, and ushers were awesome. They were super helpful getting into the lobby and keeping the crowd organized while lining up. And right before they opened the doors for seating, Ethan, one of the ushers, went through the line to let everyone know how things would work. Appreciated the courtesy and communication! It's a small performance stage but comfy seating, just a little narrow for walking through the rows and aisles. The show was amazing and very entertaining with humor, beautiful and bright costumes, and choreography to great music. Our families took the kids 8-10 years old and they enjoyed the show. Definitely would go again and tell my friends about this fun show!

Small intimate theater that has larger than life acts performing from magic shows, showgirls and musical acts that will having you talking about it and sharing your experiences over and over again. Located in the corner at Keystone Square shopping center, once you step inside staff is welcoming, helpful and you MUST see the beautiful costumes on display in the lobby/snack bar area - they are breathtaking!! We have had the pleasure of seeing the Reno Jazz Orchestra, two Candlelight Concerts and The Game / Rogue Worx each of them bringing an intimate, unique experience and a FUN date night out!! Be sure to grab your tickets for the next upcoming performances of Magique by checking out their website at www.wethetheatre.com/events - we can't wait to see this show too!!

Went with my fiancée for date night. Amazing show! The costumes and the magic were amazing to watch. You get to pick your own seats before you go and there is a small table they sell snacks and drinks for the show.

A must see! The location is in a strip like mall and the ambiance was intimate. It's pretty small so there aren't any bad seats. We actually really like the small setting. Entertainment is on par with Vegas...and I think even better. I've seen quite a few Vegas shows. They do have a little pop up drink and snack area.

I have been to The Theatre for two different events. The first was many years ago for a production of Sweeney Todd and most recently a Candlelight String Quartet Taylor Swift Concert. The venue itself is very cute and cozy. No matter where you sit you're close to the action. It's the perfect place for a date night or a night out with friends or family. There were a few snacks, candy, and soft drinks that you can buy as well as some adult beverages available on a donation basis. Everyone working there was very friendly and helpful and the ushers made the seating process very smooth and easy. I absolutely intend on attending another event at The Theatre!

We saw the Magique show tonight in VIP seating. We had a special request for seating that they accommodated which we so appreciated! The show was amazing, so intricate, extremely entertaining and well done! We loved it!!

He had funny jokes, great use of props and he used the audience multiple times throughout the show to do a trick. He actually called me up on stage to help with a part and it was great. The tour started with the lower level of the Renaissance Hotel (who provided water and a snack) for a introduction, a historical set-up (in costume) and fun "throw the cards" warm-up. Once outside (fully masked) and "on the road", our tour stops included the old Post Office/West Elm, the Reno Courthouse, the Virginia Street Bridge, Space Whale/Site of old Mapes Hotel, Old Riverside Hotel, one of Reno's historic old Alleys, and Belle Island. In between were stories of hangings, rings thrown from the bridge, missing person/mob hits, possible prohibition liquor runs through alleged tunnels, and of course the church where the finale of Sister Act was filmed. There were also magic tricks, bad jokes, a look up in the sky gag for tour add-ons, a fake birthday song tribute to a surprised restaurant patron, and a very enjoyable and interactive outdoor experience. The expedition ended back at the hotel with a ring magic trick, a bit historical letter reveal, and appreciation for a job well done. This expedition actually left me with wanting more in terms of local historical tidbits and stories. Maybe sometime post-COVID, a longer and smaller attended walking tour would be "in the cards". In the meantime, please buy a ticket to the Weird Reno walking tour and thank you Kalin, Jinger, Jacques, and family for a bringing a little welcome joy to such a challenging time. What a great place for live shows! Given the age of this building, they have done a spectacular job with the upkeep. The building still seems new and the interior is clean and updated. The seats are very comfortable and the traffic patterns are well thought out, even on a busy show day. They have concession stands available on both floors- spreading out traffic and easing the lines/crowds. Prices are reasonable for a live events venue. The show itself was great, and the venue is clearly well designed with great acoustics and great views from every seat in mind. The technical features available at the venue also seem to be pretty high tech and modern- at least they were for the Paw Patrol show. I was especially impressed with the restrooms. Sparkling clean with so many restrooms available. I can't imagine lines for the restroom ever being an issue here. I regret not having been here for any shows in so long. I am already looking forward to my next visit and have found myself already scouring the website for which shows are coming soon that I'd like to see. Would recommend!
