Wow!! What a show! I highly recommend this visually stunning and fascinating, adult show! The costumes are gorgeous! The illusions amazing! We were entertained from the moment the show started up until the final minute! The dancers are very talented and beautiful, and the illusionists are spell-binding. The music was also perfect! So glad they will have a three-year residency, because we will definitely be back. I would suggest adults or late teens for the show. Drinks and snacks are available, and a short intermission is perfect for a quick restroom break. The ushers and staff were super friendly as well! I probably don't need to add yet another five star review for how great this Kevin and Caruso Magique show is. Friends suggested we see it, and thinking it was just another illusion show, we were blown away by the scale and quality of the performance - not just "magic", but beautiful dancers in amazing costumes. Kevin Jeffrey is the host of the show and has the perfect look and voice for the part. (He reminded us of actor/comedian Jeff Daniels.) Lord Caruso plays his silent stunt partner (like "Teller" of "Penn and Teller") and is the creative genius of the elaborate costumes. You would never expect such an amazing performance at an intimate theater next to a supermarket in a little strip mall. In my opinion it outperforms most of the shows at Reno's large casinos! read more

We went to see the candlelight event, and even tho it really wasn't our jam, we were struck by how impressive The Theatre is. The history of this space is so unique and fun to those of us who've always called Reno home and have seen shows here (ahem, Rocky Horror waaaayyy back when!!) From greeting to the ticket window, concessions to the ushers, its a lovely, intimate place for shows like the candlelight series and surely, Magique slays here! The decor in the lobby offers a glimpse of the glamour of the show. If you have a chance to see something here, go! This was a nice show. If I had to do it again, I would just get the general seating instead of orchestra. We were sat in the very front by the stage and there's lots of confetti and smoke that got blown our way. The venue is small enough you'd get a good view from anywhere. The dancers carried the show, along with their great costumes. The magic was entertaining to watch. read more

Worst! Do not waste your money on "premium" seats. Their idea of premium seats is throwing two 2 top tiny tables together and squeezing 6 random people! NOT what we paid for. I was not even sat with my husband! I was across from him and couldn't even talk to him. So disappointing. Spending Valentines squeezed in like sardines with randoms. Disputing with my card services. This is just BS and again, not what I paid for. So annoyed that I don't even care about the show. It could have been a wonderful night. Mind you, I cannot even see it through the three people to my left...the left that is supposed to be a clear view of the stage...and I get some dudes hat!Ruined our night! Waste of money and not what I paid for! Zero stars and ticked off that I was the one that thought this would be cool. SMH! read more

Amazingggg show. I didn't expect it to be that good, but it was! I was better than a lot of the Vegas shows I've watched which is a big statement. The music, costumes, dancing, magic tricks were all amazing. They did more classic type of magic stunts which is always fun to watch. They open at 7p and you should get there by 7p because seats are first come first serve. There are 2 lines at the entrance. Make sure to look at the sign up front to be on the right line. One line is general/premium seats and the other is VIP orchestra. The show was about 1.45 hrs with a 15 min intermission. Go watch this show if you're around!!!! Totally worth it!!! read more

Black box theatre in a strip wall exceeded my expectations! We saw Magnifique on a Saturday evening. The illusionists, dancers, costumes, music and show were entertaining and high caliber! Not really a bad seat in the theatre. The show is two 45-min halves with a brief intermission. Drinks and snacks served. They make it fun! read more

Fantastic illusion show. It was much more than I expected. The seating is great and no matter where you sit is a great spot. The show was 2 hours long and they keep you entertained the whole time. Pro's: No bad seats in this intimate and fun venue. Con's: I found their website did not list ALL upcoming shows...just their long-running Magique show. I would like to see everything that is coming. Go back? Absolutely More... I love this venue so much, I am likely to buy a ticket to the Magique show...and I do not typically enjoy magic shows. Won tickets for the Magique show and took friends to check it out. Lots of free parking since it's in the shopping center with the Savemart. We arrived before the box office opened at 7 pm and there was already a dozen ppl in line. The entrance looked like a hole in the wall place but once you enter it has a classy feel to it. All of the staff from checking in at the box office, concession stand, and ushers were awesome. They were super helpful getting into the lobby and keeping the crowd organized while lining up. And right before they opened the doors for seating, Ethan, one of the ushers, went through the line to let everyone know how things would work. Appreciated the courtesy and communication! It's a small performance stage but comfy seating, just a little narrow for walking through the rows and aisles. The show was amazing and very entertaining with humor, beautiful and bright costumes, and choreography to great music. Our families took the kids 8-10 years old and they enjoyed the show. Definitely would go again and tell my friends about this fun show! read more

This is quite the..spectacle. We took our daughter to this performance because it was billed as good for kids, and other than the scantily-clad women parading around in thongs (our daughter asking if this was "inappropriate"), the show is really fun. It's a combo magic-dance extravaganza and each segment is high-energy and entertaining. We wouldn't say that the two guys running the thing have the most "rizz", but all three of us were enchanted. It's definitely better than hanging around in a smoke-filled casino, we'll say that much! read more

A must see! The location is in a strip like mall and the ambiance was intimate. It's pretty small so there aren't any bad seats. We actually really like the small setting. Entertainment is on par with Vegas...and I think even better. I've seen quite a few Vegas shows. They do have a little pop up drink and snack area. read more

What a fun night! I organized a neighborhood ladies night out. Specifically, (1) the illusions were amazing; (2) Kevin was very personable before, during, and after the performance; (3) costumes were dazzling (think Bob Mackie); (4) the dancers were beautiful and extremely talented; and (5) the stunning light show and diverse music selection pulled it all together. Reno/Sparks, unfortunately, does not offer the great selection of performances it once did. It's wonderful that Magique is here for 3 more years! This would also be a great date night! read more

I have been to The Theatre for two different events. The first was many years ago for a production of Sweeney Todd and most recently a Candlelight String Quartet Taylor Swift Concert. The venue itself is very cute and cozy. No matter where you sit you're close to the action. It's the perfect place for a date night or a night out with friends or family. There were a few snacks, candy, and soft drinks that you can buy as well as some adult beverages available on a donation basis. Everyone working there was very friendly and helpful and the ushers made the seating process very smooth and easy. I absolutely intend on attending another event at The Theatre! read more

What a cool find this was! I had friends visiting from out of town and they discovered The Theatre when they were researching shows to go to. How has this been right under my nose for so long?!? The location threw me off but you're instantly transported as soon as you walk in the door. This place is exquisite. Every detail has been thought out and you feel like you're in another world. They've got snacks and drinks in the lobby that you can get before the show or during intermission. Every one of the staff were friendly and helpful. We saw Magique here and we all loved it! We paid a little extra to sit in the VIP area because you get a little history and a tour after the show. It was worth it in my opinion. Every seat is a good one and the show was super entertaining. As much as I loved the show and plan to return, I loved hearing the history of the building and the story behind the new theatre and how it came together. read more

Three words: Hogwarts Is Real! There is no other logical explanation to describe this incredible show. The room is on the smaller side, I believe they said it used to be a movie theater, so literally no matter where you sit you have a fantastic view. Last night my wife and I were invited to see The Game, a new production by the people behind The _ Theater. The last time I was in this venue was for a screening of "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" in 1977 when it was the Keystone Cinema. What an absolutely incredible transformation this place has gone through. Fantastic lighting and sound system with a stage large enough for all kinds of performances! One reason we moved back to Reno after being gone for 30 years was to have opportunities that are available in places like this. You can tell this has been a passion project of the people behind the curtain. "The Game" was a cabaret show with lots of dancing girls in lavish costumes and a very thin plot tying it together. The nine performers gave their best but without something more to draw in the audience it never really mattered. We will definitely check out some of their other shows. read more

This Magique show has been on my to do list for some time. Booked the 4pm Sunday matinee. Excellent theater, intimate seating with no bad seats. They have several seating options if you want to make it even more special. I purchased General admission and had excellent seats. Large lobby with fun displays and very pleasant staff at their concession booth. Friendly staff at the doors while you wait till half hour before the show, when they open the doors to the theater itself. The show was excellent, everyone there seemed to enjoy the show as much as I did. Beautiful costumes, lots of costume changes, professional dancers and fun music and special effects. The two magicians are stellar. Each of their many performances they managed to baffle and amaze. The show is very fast paced and stays entertaining for two hours. There is an intermission one hour in and I spent that time eager for the show to start again. I do not hesitate to recommend this show and am already eager to spread the word to friends and family that this show is a must see. read more

Fun magic show. Really stunning costumes on the dancing lady assistants. One thing that mystified me was the magician's manipulation of a simple carboard box. It seemed to float in mid-air. How do they do that? We were a bit bothered by smoky air, but overall a fun evening. read more

The show is good but i am taking stars off for the things that marred our experience from being better. - They should consider giving people a big size of popcorn bag instead of luring them into buying a mini size with 10 dollars plus 10 refills. We had a group of 4 kids seated in front of us sharing two of those bags who got up every 10-15 mins to get a refill ruining our experience. It was super annoying. - Don't understand the first come first serve here as we got there pretty early but were given uncomfortable chairs while there was plenty of seating in the back and more cushioned sofas. Not sure if we were treated differently as we were dressed casual (coming from a ski day) - The location - Nugget is dingy and dirty, no directions to where the hall was and reeked disgustingly of smoke. -The magician was impressive but i was surprised to see his very meh attitude (could barely manage a smile) when i and my husband stopped for a picture for the kids and said it was a good show. To note he had just been chatting, shaking hands and being very friendly with a white guy just ahead of us. Kinda put us off with his differential attitude. read more

I bought booth tickets in June for four to see Magique at the Nugget for a milestone birthday in September. Instead of a booth, we were crammed amongst a crowded table with strangers. Even after showing proof, staff refused to honor our booth seats, saying it "wouldn't be fair" to other guests. No effort was made to resolve it, and I left feeling disappointed and misled on what should have been a special night. Be cautious you may not get the seating you pay for. read more

If you're looking for a show to see, look no further. Kevin and Caruso's show Magique is a must-see!!! Fun for all ages! It was thrilling and entertaining with show girls and magic illusions. It's not your typical magic show. The costumes and music and, of course, the magic illusions keep you intrigued. Fun fact, Lord Caruso handmade all the beautiful costumes you'll see during the show. I found myself on stage after Kevin came up looking for a female volunteer to help him with a magic trick. He was funny, although I can be a bit bashful at times I had a good time up there. Hush just started its run on Friday nights. The group that performed Millennials last spring is now back with a new show on Friday nights in the Magique Theater. Hush is set in a wild west brothel and there's been a murder. The story highlights each suspect and the ending was a fabulous surprise. The performance incorporates a combination of old west and modern in the costume designs and music, with modern dance and a little cirque. The use of mixed media on the screen with the floor performances brought the entire story together with limited props, giving the performers a larger space to dance in. Aspen Meadows portrayed Fancy the house madam and storyteller. The theater has great seating right up to the edge of the floor. So the front row seats were awesome. The cast always meets and greets in the lobby after the show. Great touch. read more

I took my family (6 adults) on 26Dec2025 to the Nugget, Reno, NV, to see Magique. We were amazed and applauded each act vigorously. The showgirls danced in unison and entertained us energetically. Lord Caruso's over the top feathery costumes were tasteful and reminded me of the Moulin Rouge show we watched this September in Paris.
