I literally came here to see if they can change my rotors and my brake pads for my 2020 Ford Explorer and I just sat here looking like an idiot nobody ever came and talk to me. They literally saw me taking pictures so I can post on here to complain, but still continue to not to help me. You could tell that these guys hate their job. Always great service here! My husband and I come here for ALL maintenance on our cars. The guys are honest and friendly.

They refused to work on my Dodge 1500 pickup because it was a 1994 and they won't work on anything that's a classic. They said people bring in junk and expect miracles. I didn't expect miracles, just a new starter motor. Maybe they think people with classic pickups don't have any money. Wrong! I have never seen a mechanic turn away business like that. Turns out, every diagnosis Magnolia Auto gave to us, was false. Absolutely nothing was wrong, and, only coming from a not tightened oil filter. Claimed it was a transmission gasket leak and cracks oil pan. Again, very dishonest and will say anything to take your money. Went to Gullo Ford to get a straight answer, and to which they admitted to not having to do any work and completely paid for the diagnosis. read more

Still having the same issue after just getting our car back for the 4th time. Never again. It died again after 2 days back from this shop. It's under warranty, but they keep it for a week or longer every time. We have to pay for a rental most of the time or rely on rides and food deliveries. Which means big money out of our pockets. Plus we are always paying for parts, that obviously wasn't the problem. Their guarantee sucks. We have had to cancel appointments over and over again. Their mechanics should have just told us they couldn't fix it and saved us so much time and money. We will take it some where else, this 5th time. We do not recommend this place. read more

Came in to have them put my new tires on my truck and change the oil and I'm sitting in here and this guy that's working on my truck comes in and starts complaining about my tires? And the people sitting in the office are complaining as well!! Talking about how they should have charged me more and how now they're going to have to figure out how to deal with the old tires. It's bullshit!! I'm sitting right here!!!!! Then they started speaking in what seems to be maybe German?? It's BS. I even got a video of them complaining!! Too bad yelp doesn't allow videos to be posted. I'm new to the area and just wanted to find someone local to work on my truck!!! Not even worth it. Vernon at Magnolia Auto is an extremely unpleasant person to communicate with. He stated "...we would rather work on nice cars for easy money." "...keep your rusty worn down foreign car away from my shop..." "...none of my guys on flat rate would have made a dime off your junk" "...that's why you paid for 2 more hours. If you don't like it too bad." I brought my 2008 Subaru Forester Sports (130k mi in great shape with minimal surface rust, typical for an 11 yr old car) in for (2) rear wheel bearings to be replaced. I was originally quoted between 600-800 to do the work. I thought it was a little high for the work but didn't have a bearing press to complete the job myself. There were some additional parts (a bolt, nut, washer) and labor that was added to the bill and I walked away paying $1089.56. I didn't bicker or post a review until months later (7 months) as I chalked it up to a life lesson learned. Yesterday I received an email asking to review my experience, which I did. And in return I received a nasty email from the owner (Vernon) that stated what I quoted above and more. The work was performed, completed, and correctly done in the end. I was over charged and treated as if my vehicle or money wasn't good enough for ole' Vern. If you have anything more than an oil change or airing up a tire, I'd HIGHLY recommend you take your business and money elsewhere. Obviously, this company (and ownership) can only handle easy money projects on "nice cars". And lord forbid if you have a disagreement how you'll be treated. My .02. read more

I have several co-workers who swear by Magnolia Auto. I have not had to take my personal vehicle in. However, because of their reputation I have referred several people to Magnolia Auto. With any referral, I always do a follow up with the person to make sure they had a positive experience and that I am referring friends and clients to businesses that are doing things the right way. I just followed up with the most recent referral and he was very pleased with his experience- highlighting the customer service, knowledge, and transparency they shared with him. I went in to get an oil change and a filter change and I was charged $35 for it and they also put air on my tires,checked my fluids, and told me why my check engine light is on for just the cost of the oil change. I will definitely come back here again, I called 2 other places that were going to charge me $60 and the other $50 for an oil change. No thanks read more
