This review is more about the experience I had when calling to ask a question. I had my check engine light pop on, stopped by Auto Zone to have it scanned and it told me the issue was my VVT Solenoid. This was for a 2016 Santa Fe Limited. I called Hyundai, 3 week wait just to get an analysis, a couple other places gave me 5-7 days before they could analyze it and told me it would be north of $400 to fix (minimum). Then I talked to Tyler at Christian Brothers. He was willing to set up a time to check out the SUV but he also asked me a couple questions. He told me the Hyundai was known to be an internal oil burner and asked when I had my last oil change. Ironically, it was a little overdue but no warnings or anything. He said if it was a little low it could set off that solenoid issue and he advised me to get a good oil change, drive the vehicle a couple of days and see if it resets itself. If not, they would be happy to look at it. Guess what? He was 100% accurate. I changed the oil, the check engine light went off. I even had the vehicle scanned again to check and there was no code error. Imagine that, a company giving sound advice to help you and not keeping their knowledge for profit. Thanks Tyler for being inquisitive, helpful and saving me an expense that would have been unnecessary. That customer care alone made me a loyal customer. read more

I originally had brake service for my Lexus RX350 at CBA. After about a year and half, there was vibration when slowing down. I went back to CBA, since they have the best warranty in the business at 3 year or 36k whichever is last. They were able to diagnose the issue and repair it that day, replacing the front rotors and pads as part of the warranty (no charges). They kept me posted through text alerts and even provided me a Lyft when their shuttle was not ready. I have written a review before with the amazing service from Glenn and Robert. This follow-up service to warranty issues and provide that great consistent customer service, makes me a customer for life. I encourage those looking for a mechanic who don't want to be swindled to give them a chance. read more

If I can add a 0 Star Rating I would. I've brought my Mazda 3 into there shop because it was making a rattling noise and overheating, they told me it was a few things needing to be fixed and charged me $1,600 for everything.. long story short they never fixed nothing I even paid them for a oil changed and the guy lied dead in my face and told me he changed it.. When I still Have the same old sticker on it from months ago my car was back to overheating the exact next day .. It broke down the next day on the service road and caused me to get hit by other incoming cars when it shut down now my back trunk is messed up and my right view mirro and tires, on top of the damages I already had all because these lying, sob didn't just fix what I paid them to do the first time. This place can't get anything right. The last two times I have taken my vehicle there they had it for over a week when the problem could've been fixed in less than a day. They just seem to have excuses every time and never finish when they say they will. My vehicle seemed to miraculously have another large issue once they fixed the first one. I will definitely not go back here. As much as I hate to, I will just go to the dealer or they know what they are doing. read more

My car broke down a few feet from this shop so I was able to crawl into their parking lot while waiting for my tow service to arrive. I'm not even a customer of this shop but they kindly let me hand around on their waiting room (it was 90F outside) and even offered me bottled water and their free WiFi. The owner even offered me a courtesy ride back home! This wasn't necessary as I already got a ride home but it speaks a great deal of how welcomed I felt even though they knew I was no business to them. Thanks! read more

Now there telling me that Ford recommended to change the transmission lol and that they told me my issue from the very beginning. They called me and left me a voicemail telling me they wanted to talk to me regarding my issue called back and now nobody knows anything about me or the problem lol why wat a horrible company to do business with . Owner now is telling all lies which he clearly doesn't know wat really happened . Robert never called me back the second time I took the vehicle there yet he said he won't leave the shop until he talks to me. Shady don't take your care there trust me . They don't know wat they r doing . Ford charge me 4,600 for a new transmission installed and all. Clearly they just wanted to take my money and for me to come back and pay them again to put a new transmission and charge me more money. Didn't work. They never told me anything from the beginning like the owner stated. all they said was this was the issue and it will be fixed. Second time I come back they told me oh now we got another code coming up. All they want is your money . There easy to tell you hey write us a good review the moment you pick up your car. My vehicle was having an electrical problem.. dropped it off with these "professionals" and then waited for 3 days before I called them. That morning I was told "Moe has been tracing wires" But when I talk to them again by the end of the day, "Moe is working on yours and other peoples vehicle"Pushing mine out when he got frustrated I guess? Anyways, Moe never fixed the problem and instead suggested that we fix other things.. $3.3k later.. the problem still exists. All that work for nothing.. And now I have a humming/high pitch sound on acceleration and idle. Also, another sound that is as if its the power steering pump, (that no body heard when they "test drove" it) both of these problems didn't exist before I took it in. I returned today, frustrated. They only spent 15 mins looking it over, saying the fluid was a "tad" low. Left the parking lot and the sounds are still there.. but what do I know. I'm not the great "Moe" All the while I'm waiting, the mechanic, Moe, wants to eye ball me from in the shop. While I know him and the bald guy in the office, I'm assuming the manager (who is also a joke) had words about the situation. (Sound travels fellas). I'd go somewhere else. And will. They're a production shop. Hoping they can turn cars out at a quick rate. IF ITS NOT A QUICK FIX OR THEY DONT KNOW HOW TO FIX IT, they suggest other stuff to make up for the time spent. I would avoid this place at all costs. Setting an appointment is useless. Showed up at time of appointment and was then informed that they can't guarantee my service could be completed. So here is their logic, leave your vehicle for a scheduled appointment and in 3-4 hours we will call and let you know we couldn't do it. WTH!!! So I drove down the road to a Firestone Complete shop and asked if they could get the same service done TODAY and they said of course! Left my vehicle and in less than 2 hours service that I needed was completed and for a cheaper price! Thank you Firestone 5 stars!
