I Will Never use their services again unless I get a refund. Horrible people when I told them I just lost a brother and I have to fly to California. It's never fun getting a phone call call stating '' you ceiling is holding water. This could of caused mold . I called a different company and they stated '' they didn't do a Danm thing and you should take legal action'' Not only did I have to pay $700 for the same services but another $3,600 to replace the Sheetrock, insulation, etc. its messed up and as caused hell for me these past two months. My aging HVAC recently needed replacing , and we were in the middle of some of the hottest weather of the summer. RAM got my new unit up and running in a few hours. I was particularly impressed by how they saw that the first new unit on the truck was dinked (I would haven't known this unless they pointed it out), so they sent it the warehouse for a replacement. They even clean up after themselves before leaving a job! I don't know if they are the cheapest HVAC company out there, but what they charged me seemed to be the going rate for this product and service. Finally, RAM Air offers a product called the Golden System, which is where customers pre-pay for 2 service calls a year. This is so worth the money. RAM calls me twice a year to schedule this maintenance, and whenever I have needed small repairs, such as a replacement thermostat, I paid nothing extra.

Seems the last two companies had not been cleaning the Evaporator, probably for over seven years. I rewrapped the lines (which had been seeping condensate after multiple tech repairs), cut out the intake and cleaned the Evaporator coil 4 times. It was bad due to lack of cleaning. I also installed an egg crate filter box return. After hearing 3 different opinions from 4 different HVAC techs, I called Mel. He showed up on time, listened to the saga, and checked the unit. He removed and cleaned the blower (which the last company said they could not access). He said the evap coil looked good and the inflow was fine. I love that Mel does his own work, and he does it right. He was calm, listened and knows his science. Oh, and he took care not to track up our carpet.

I have two young children and when our unit is having issues they have the unit running well before our house is hot. Acadian Heating and Air is a top notch business in my eyes due to their punctuality, dedication to customers, ability to explain all options available, and reasonable prices. He is very price conscious and wanted to provide the best replacement option for my specific situation. He recommended new equipment that would be an energy improvement over the prior system, but was not too expensive. He talked me through all of the technical details, so I understood what I was buying. He answered all of my technical questions and went into the attic with me to explain all of the components in detail, even though the temperature was likely +110F and we were sweating our butts off. I'm an engineer who deals with industrial refrigeration systems, so I like to geek out about this stuff. I enjoyed talking with David and he likes the technical details as well. David and his team were on time and courteous during the install. He gave me a follow-up call a couple days after the installation just to make sure everything was still working great. After the installation was complete, I measured the energy usage to be 25% less than the old system, which was what he said the new equipment would achieve. David gained my trust throughout the job and I plan on using him again.

I last used them 2 yrs ago and posted to Yelp my concerns but review was deleted. Paid for A/C services and had to have another A/C company come out. They said they cleaned a unit but below pictures were taken after their expensive service. They also tell you after the fact that there is an extra charge for using a credit card to pay for their service. Always tries to sell more expensive services. I'm sure they can do good work... but if you use them get a second quote/opinion.

My AC went out when I had a 1 month old and they were able to come the same day, figure out what we needed, get all the parts and get us up and running with a new unit the very next day. They have always been pleasant to work with and very easy to communicate with. They're thorough in explaining what is needed for repairs and with what work they're completing.
