The tech that came out wasn't prepared for the job and needed to borrow my shop vac. To me, if I'm paying you close to $400 to clean my AC motor, come with your own tools and equipment. It's not professional to ask customers to provide their own for the company's use. I called the office to complain, and the manager was rude AF. He said he wasn't sure why the tech didn't have a shop vac, but the tech said he was never provided one. (So whenever you read this, please buy your employees the tools they need to do their jobs) I let the tech use my shop vac anyway, he finished cleaning the AC, and left the remainder of the work for the next day because materials were late. Stephen, the tech that actually did the remainder of the work was courteous and professional. Not sure sure I would use this company again. Seems like the owners or managers don't care about their employees or what kind of business they're running.

My neighbor uses Total Comfort so when my ac wasn't cooling, I called them to come out. They sent a…read moretechnician who came to the door and asked me what was going on with the ac. I told him then he came in and lowered the thermostat and headed back outside. About 15 minutes later, the ac started cooling and he came back to the door to tell me he had added 3 pounds of refrigerant. The cost of the call was the $90 service call plus $330 of refrigerant for a total of $420. I was happy and he told me that it might last me through the summer. Less than 24 hours later, the ac stopped cooling so I called them back. They sent the same technician who this time went into the attic to check the system and less than 10 minutes later came down and reported that the evaporator coil had a large leak and if he added more refrigerant it would just leak right out. He basically did the diagnosis that he should have done the first day. I called the service manager today to share the fact that the technician's failure to do the proper diagnosis the first time caused me to unnecessarily spend an extra $330. I requested a refund and was denied. I was very surprised with the service manager's response. I certainly won't use them again. if you do, please beware.
