So I went in sweaty palms and weak knees from the fear of getting numbed, knowing I had to go through with it one way or another. There was absolutely no pain - I'm not kidding. INFORMATIVE AND ASSURING - Dr. Goodman answered all of my questions at each appointment and walked me through the work he completed, and then answered my follow up questions. He was patient and honest, which I really respect. I'm lucky to have found him, I hope you're lucky enough to read this review and follow through with going to see Dr. Goodman and his team. Stay well.

Dr. Goodman quickly determined I needed a root canal and got the job done on the spot. Of course, "root canal" is synonymous with "pain," but Dr. Goodman assured me I wouldn't feel a thing. I had my iPod ready to go to blast loud music to help me through it and didn't even need it. I didn't even feel the novicane shots because I was numbed with Q-Tips before they went in. Plus, Dr. Goodman and his staff are nice, good-natured and fun. Post surgery was painless as well. I can't recommend highly enough.

(Two uncles are dentists out of state, so I'm picky about who touches my teeth!) Was it comfortable? Not really, but it was much more comfortable than the last two I had done. Dr. shah was patient with me, continually checking on how I was mentally. He was constantly concerned about my well-being and dental anxiety, explaining what he was doing every step of the way. Thank you, Dr. shah!

Both practitioners are located in Peachtree City, Fayette County, GA. I had no preconceived idea of what I might expect, as I have never had a root canal and those I do know that have had root canals (they) were done so long ago I was certain the procedure would be updated. When I walked into the Office, I was impressed by the waiting area which had a wonderful light & clean scent - NOT perfume & not medicinal, simply fresh. The seating area is tastefully appointed in soothing paint colors, pleasant artwork on the walls seasonal decorations (in this case miniature pumpkins, orbs, hand painted real pumpkins as well). I was also greeted by a smiling & friendly office staff who were prepared with my information in hand. I somehow forgot my referral paperwork to which they replied kindly they would contact Dr. Tommy's office on my behalf. It was the "kindly" that impressed me - no indication that they were inconvenienced by having to make the contact. An extraordinary response considering many times graciousness is not displayed in many customer/patient related environments. I felt comforted by their response. The Care, Quality, and Professionalism displayed & taken by Dr. Shah & his assistants was exceptional! Full & complete information about the procedure was given prior to any procedure work commenced. I was told it was going to be a 2-visit procedure, the chosen technology used and for what purpose. There were 2 televisions for viewing: one parallel to the chair and one on the ceiling. I asked if it was ok for me to listen to an Audiobook during the procedure, which was encouraged so long as I was able to hear any questions asked. After full mouth X-rays taken, I was seated and Novocain was administered. The reason I bring this up is in all my life never have I experienced such a painless administration of Novocain! The technique employed included redirecting pressure on my lower lip while brief injections were administered. I never felt a pinch!! Remarkable! Sunglasses were placed over my eyes so the lights would not bother me. Quite considerate! After the procedure was complete, Dr. Shah (whose assistants were gentle, worked seamlessly with Dr. Shah, communicated clearly and genuinely enjoy their team & profession) showed me the work he performed and his expectations for success. They all bid farewell and to call with any questions or concerns. I Made my 2nd appointment, which was brief & rescheduled for 18 months noting I need a follow-up appointment with Dr. Tommy to complete any dental work needed. Post-Root-canal: the area around my gums & teeth were tender, not excruciating, antibiotics & Tylenol were all that was needed after the 1st visit. I started antibiotics 2-days prior to my appointment and continue until completed. overall this was a relaxing and pleasant experience. Dr. Shah is caring and clearly understands his role as a professional as well as genuine patient care. Thank you!!

They kept telling us that our children needed a special toothpaste to remineralize their teeth to avoid cavities, but every 6 months they needed multiple fillings, sometimes multiple sides on a tooth. One child had so many fillings (10-12 teeth) that I finally called to check which teeth had gotten done before. Some teeth had been done more than once, but they told me they were different spots on the same tooth. My youngest was leaving for college last year and yet again they told us he had 3 teeth with cavities, but they could "squeeze" him in right then. That way he could be done before he left for college. We took care of them. Those three teeth were $1042. Fast forward, he returns from college, goes for his cleaning and now he has 3 more teeth with cavities at an estimated cost o $975. He was home for summer, so they scheduled him for a while later. Luckily for us, we moved and found another dentist near our new home. We forwarded his records to the new dentist and scheduled an appointmemt to take care of the 3 teeth that had multiple cavities. My son went to the appointment and came home in less than 30 minutes. The dentist looked at his X-rays, took new ones and said they did not see any cavities! In fact they looked at the cavities that had been filled PREVIOUSLY on the X-rays and said they would not have filled most of them. They showed him and me what to look for on an X-ray, so we could see for ourselves. Going to Restoration Dental cost us thousands of dollars in unnecessary fillings. Nevermind the trauma that my children had to endure with getting shots and further tooth damage for the unnecessary drilling that was done to "clean out" nonexisting cavities. Now my children have the good fortune of looking forwards to possibly having these unnecessary fillings weaken their teeth over time and potentially cause broken teeth, more painful procedures and bigger bills as they get older. I have attached a copy of the last estimate for my son (look how many more teeth they were "watching"). LET ME REPEAT THAT THE NEW DENTIST DID NOT SEE ONE ISSUE THAT WAS ON THE ESTIMATE, AND LOOKED AT HIS PREVIOUSLY FILLED CAVITIES AND SAID THEY WOULD NOT HAVE FILLED MOST OF THEM. If you choose to go to this dentist, don't trust what they say, have them prove it to you. Btw, I noticed there is another review complaining of the same thing. This practice should refund my money and pay me for damaging my children's teeth. I am trying to see where I can legally report them.
