Dr Drescher actually made time to talk to me on the phone, he listened to my explanation of my problem and worked me into his tight schedule. He expertly removed and replaced my bridge in one visit! I am so grateful! My previous dentist had me scheduled to cut and replace the bridge for an estimated cost of $20-25,000! Dr Drescher's entire bill was under $200! Confession: I've always hated going to the dentist. I know it's important and all, but seriously--do people actually like their dentist? Well... turns out, yes! Because I LUV my dentist, and I've been seeing Dr. Drescher for years now. I first came here on a friend's recommendation after a botched crown experience at another office. Not only did Dr. Drescher fix the previous dentist's mistake, but he was also incredibly kind and gracious throughout the entire process. I could tell he genuinely cared about getting it right--not just clinically, but for my comfort and confidence too. Now, I've been a loyal patient ever since--even though I've relocated multiple times over the years. I still make it a point to come back to Dr. Drescher for my cleanings and checkups when I'm in Atlanta. Fast forward to today--I recently got Invisalign, and I'm absolutely loving my new smile. I never thought I would say this about a dentist appointment 'Visiting the offices of Drescher & Cohen D.D.S. was a pleasant and rewarding experience'. I have been on this journey for over 4 years. I have spoken with countless dentists and orthodontists. For years my TMJ was misdiagnosed as they continued to perform root canals and other procedures purportedly to relieve my pain. Even after I received a diagnosis the issue was not addressed properly. Then I found Drescher & Cohen D.D.S.. Dr. Cohen was methodical as he proceeded to hone in on the problem. Once he arrived at my specific issue he went about searching for a solution. With the aid of his assistant Raven he went over every conceivable approach to solve my issue once and for all. It was like watching Batman and Robin work. What I really appreciated was they did not exclude me from the process. They included me in every conversation. The doctors and team at Drescher & Cohen are the BEST! I've been coming here for my routine visits for several years now and always have a great experience. Parking: Parking garage. I believe the office validates, but call to confirm. Finding the office can be challenging as Colony Square is under a major face-lift at the moment. First-time visitors may not realize this, but there are two sets of elevators that go to different floors. With the ongoing construction, the middle of Colony Square is closed off so you can't walk from one elevator to the other without going outside. The LEFT set of elevators (when approaching Colony from outside) is what you need to lookout for. It will take you to the 15th floor where the office is located. You can reach this by entering from the side of 5 Church restaurant. There's an entrance opposite of the purple mural. Scheduling is easy and check-in process is smooth. The office recently underwent some renovations (i.e. getting rid of the window when you first walk in) so it appears to be much more spacious and welcoming. What dentist appointment? I always feel like I'm walking into a spa treatment or something lol. As I walk into the room, I'm handed yellow safety glasses that helps prevent splashes during the cleaning. They polish with baking soda, so you can leave showing off those pearly whites :D After polishing, you're given some mouthwash and a hot towel to wipe your face of any splashes/residue from the cleaning. My dental hygienist of choice is Tanya. She's fantastic! Professional, sweet and very thorough. Everyone I've encountered at this office is great though--don't think you can go wrong with anyone here. I've met with both Dr. Cohen and Dr. Simian. Both are great, very easy to talk to. I've never had to wait long for the doctors to come in. Don't forget to grab a chapstick on the way out! They're great. Overall, I'd highly recommend the office of Drescher & Cohen especially if you live/work close by. read more

Was afraid to go to the dentist for years because of small chip in tooth. Went here and told Dr. Drescher about small chip and previous filling. He didn't see either / didn't believe that either existed until I insisted they did. I asked both him and the dental hygienist (who was very sweet and probably the best dental hygienist I've ever seen) to be careful and avoid the chip. Dr. Drescher kept scratching the chip with a metal tool and made me grind against the chip with my other teeth. I left with a worsened chip and am very upset about it considering I searched for the best dentist in the city to avoid this specific problem. read more

With Drescher and Cohen you pay for what you get. I've switched dentists several times since moving to Atlanta and found these guys after meeting one of dentists (Comi) at an event. It's not the cheapest dentist around and it's a bit of a pain to get to with parking and the elevators in the high rise buildings. However, the care is always top notch and I never feel like they are trying to sell me something like I have at other dentists (insurance plans, fancy toothbrushes and extra special toothpaste, or worse yet, overly preventative/unnecessary fillings). You are in and out in the amount of time you'd expect it to take to get the proper dental care you need for a regular cleaning but you also aren't waiting around before your appointment and/or between the dental hygienist and the dentist visit. The staff is friendly and caring and their appointment/reminder systems are good. I like that I consistently have the same nice hygienist too. Unlike other places that now have screens everywhere, I prefer the simplicity of their rooms and nice skyline views. Even though they aren't even one of the closer options to my house, I convinced my wife to switch to them and now have dental insurance and don't have to worry about them not being the cheapest option around. read more

Be warned! This is an extremely shady practice when it comes to payment. I was told by employees there that although they were out of network they still took insurance and that mine was good to go. I got a cleaning done and at time of service was charged $29 and told that's what I was responsible for. The service itself was really rushed and they weren't very thorough but I figured they were busy that day so whatever. Fast forward a few months later and I receive a bill for over $200 FOR A CLEANING THAT DIDN'T EVEN LAST 15 MINUTES. The employees then tried to tell me that "everything there is an estimate" and refused to take accountability for their lack of transparency regarding pricing. My old dentist in Bel Air charged less than this for a cleaning. This place is overpriced and shady. Don't waste your time or money. read more

I'm really happy that I decided to go with Dresher and Cohen to get my teeth cleaned, and if you live in Midtown or the surrounding areas then you should consider them, too. Things to know: ***** MAKING AN APPOINTMENT: Pretty easy. Just call, provide your dental insurance information, and let them know what days and times work best for you. PARKING: The hardest part about getting to Dresher and Cohen are the very high parking rates, in the area. They do validate for a few lots, but call beforehand to find out which ones. LOCATION: It's located in Colony Square where the Starbucks is located. Enter the building and take the elevator to the 15th floor. Take a left at the hallway on the left. They're located at the end of the hallway on the left. SERVICE: Shoutout to Viet sista and hygienist, Vi, for cleaning my teeth. She did an excellent job picking, flossing, and polishing. And even though I can take quite a bit of pain when getting my teeth cleaned, I never felt uncomfortable. Ooh, and with the polishing, you can pick what flavor you want, too. (They have orange, mint, cherry, and others.) Vi also provides great restaurant recommendations. ;) After my cleaning, I then saw Dr. Simian, and he looked at my x-rays to see the strength of my teeth. (Glad to say that they were in great shape!) When I checked out, the receptionist gave me a gift bag since it was my first visit. =) OVERALL: I had such a great experience at Dresher and Cohen, and I'm looking forward to my next visit. read more

As much as one can love the dentist, I have enjoyed being a patient here for 3 years. The hygienists are great and efficient and Dr. Simeon is very kind and does a great job. They are quick to answer the phone and they have the best chapstick around. Definitely would recommend (and have) to friends/coworkers. The downside is that you have to pay for parking, but if you can walk/take the train that's even better. They are located inside colony square, so they can be hard to find, but it's a great office. read more

I came in today to have a routine dental cleaning. One of our office staff members recommended the office. Well, I had the best dental cleaning that I can recall in 33 years. Sarah, my hygenist, has been in the practice for over 9 years. She was meticulous, attentive, professional and superb. As a medical professional, I was extremely pleased with her direct approach to problems and recommendations. She was on top of everything, from medical advice, to what is covered or not with issurance, and what she would do or not do. I felt that my time spent with Sarah was extremely well organized and productive. Dr. Drescher - came in for his evaluation, even checked in while sarah was working on. He is extremely personable, approachable, and professional. He is well versed in general dentistry and also has extensive experience over 19 yeara with Invisilign. I must say, as a new resident to the Atlanta area, I am elated to be taken cae of by Dr Drescher and his staff. Karen (who speaks Spanish) and Cindy in the front desk were superbly friendly and organized. I am just overall very pleased with my experience and will be defenitely coming back. I loved the fact that you can pre do all your paperwork online, and they were super efficient in calling me back 5 mins before my appt time to get my cleaning started! This place is very shady when it comes to insurance and payment. I called prior to making an appointment to see if they took my insurance. They said they do, I thought this was great and made an appointment. Fast forward to after I got my cleaning done, they said I owed them $400... I was confused as they had told me they took my insurance. They told me my insurance would send me the reimbursement check... I am young and just graduated college so I am clueless when it comes to stuff like this. I called my insurance company to ask them if this is true and they said that they will send me a check but it won't cover everything... They for really screwed me over and their service also sucked. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! They will scan you like they did me and plenty of other people who visited the office. read more

I haven't had many good dental appointment experiences throughout my life. As a direct result, I avoided visiting a dentist for many years. Fast forward to my relocation from NY to Atlanta, and because I was completely new to the A, I took my wife's suggestion to book an appointment with Drescher & Cohen D.D.S. I figured why not give it a try? After all, she has trusted them with her precious set of pearly whites for over a decade. As soon as I arrived in the lobby area I was greeted by front desk assistants with a smile and was taken care of immediately. The office is very tranquil, clean and inviting and I felt very comfortable. My first experience was with Sarah (who unfortunately does not work there any longer); she conducted my 1st dental analysis, teeth cleaning and whitening procedure. Her personality was warm and bubbly and she really knew her craft. She did a great job on my teeth and also found "4" cavities through the x-rays she took. Sarah introduced me to Dr. Kamy Simian DMD, and offered me the option of filling the 4 cavities on the same day of my 1st teeth cleaning. Now that was pushing it for me; I started having flashbacks of a dentist working on my teeth in NY who really didn't have it together and I remember feeling like I was some kind of experiment! (lol) On that note, I thought to myself "who is Dr. Simian and should I allow someone with less experience to drill though my teeth? Why not have one of the Dental masters (Drescher or Cohen) fill my cavities. However, at the time of my appointment (it was in July of 2014), both of them were on vacation. I had to make a decision, and I really didn't want to walk out of the dental office reporting to my wife that all went well except that I learned I have 4 cavities rotting inside my teeth! I also have a needle phobia, so you can already imagine I was considering bailing out on the situation. Turns out I gave Dr. Simian a chance and I just prayed the outcome would be positive. He was very kind, patient and precise with his work. I surprisingly felt comfortable and relaxed throughout the duration of the procedure. I had one really large and deep-rooted cavity located in one of my bottom molars (which I was avoiding for several years due to fear), but he did really well ensuring that it was as painless as possible. After drilling my tooth open, he asked me if I could feel the air blowing on it. I could feel it, so he gave me a couple more shots of Novocain to numb it up. There was a point in which he said that he was getting near my root during the extraction process, and mentioned that he didn't want to get too close and cause nerve damage. So he decided to insert a medicated, mineral rich substance on the bottom of where the remaining cavity was touching the root, prior to filling the cavity up. He informed me that the tooth will get stronger with time and if I feel any pain while eating hot or cold foods to contact him immediately. He also advised that if I start to feel any discomfort or pain, there is a good chance that I will need a root canal due to the severity of that particular cavity. The other 3 cavities were also filled with ease. It felt great to take care of those cavities while they were still very small. Dr. Simian also conducted a follow-up with me via cell phone. He was extremely knowledgeable, kind, courteous and genuinely concerned about my well being...which really made me feel like I was being cared for by "family." It is currently December 22, 2015 as of this writing, and I haven't felt much pain or discomfort in my bottom molar after the procedure. Every now and then I feel some minor throbbing, but that is expected because that was a pretty bad cavity that I allowed to fester for about 10 years. I am 100% satisfied and highly recommend Drescher and Cohen D.D.S. to anyone looking for the best experience in both customer service and professional dental expertise! read more

I have been going to Drescher & Cohen for years now and my doctors are Dr. Cohen and Dr. Simian. They're great and have always made me feel comfortable. I really like their office too. It's on the 15th floor in midtown and you get to see the skyline when you're sitting in the dentist chair. The only thing that can be difficult is parking. You always have to pay for parking and I park across the street at a lot for $7 each time. But, they do give dentist goody bags so I'm always loving those! Also, when you get a cleaning, they give you glasses to protect your eyes and a hot towel to clean off afterwards. If you're not sure where to go, definitely give them a try! read more

Most people don't love going to the dentist but I do. Drescher & Cohen, DDS take extraordinary care with their patients. It's a decent sized office with approx. 15 staff members. They are doing something right because everyone seems happy to be there and are extremely polite and accommodating from the moment you walk in the door. Dr. Drescher is my doctor and he is extremely professional but light-hearted and makes you feel at ease during the whole experience. We all know the having sharp utensils in your mouth can be daunting but he knows just what to say to keep everything light-hearted and easy going. I just had my first visit on Friday, and I must say I was impressed. I decided to try them one, because a coworker recommended them and it is across the street from my job. They also have early morning appointments so I don't miss work. The staff was extra friendly and helpful. I went in for a routine cleaning. The dentist addressed a issue I had with my gums. For the record I go to the dentist every six months. I had this issue for years but my former dentist said there was nothing that could be done. And also keeps people who are afraid of the dentist like me from having second thoughts in the waiting room and leaving :) Came in for a consultation on what I knew would end up to be some ortho work after going to a couple other dentists for their opinion. Dr.Drescher explained to me exactly what needed to be done, quoted me a price on the spot! Made my appointment for the next week for 4 extractions and braces! The day of my appointment I was beyond nervous! The assistant Nicol prepped me and helped Dr.Drescher through the whole appointment. Everything was super quick and the extractions were unbelievably painless!!!! Now I have full braces and I'm actually looking forward to my next appointment! Very excited for my results! They also accept CareCredit which is super awesome for financing your dental work. Another perk is that they do everything in house, nothing is referred out to other dentists. Every time a patient walks by, the staff will call out their name and ask about their families - it's just amazing how well they know their patients. I had a five year period that that I lived out of Atlanta in 3 different states. In each location I went to a new dentist. Each dentist commented on the excellent quality of the work that had been done by Dr Cohen.
