Horrible.. the worst experience ever ! Employees and owners of the ATV part of the park are Super unprofessional, rude with anger problems. Employee ( guide ) of 21 years old was screaming and cursing at a 13-year-old boy because he accidentally (barely) bumped the back of another ATV . Employee (guide) gets off screaming with curse words told him to get the F ** off and to start walking back .. I mean it was terrible the way they treated the kid and customers . You pay for 1 hour ride but since crazy employee is mad so they cut it short to 30 minutes but still charged you an hr . The owner will charge you for things on the ATVs that were already damaged previously there's no way to prove it was already there since you receive the ATVs already damaged and all dirty . All they care is about money and how to take more out of you . The owners there just didn't care how we were treated. They ruined our experience. The ride around was just dirt nothing else just did circles in the same area Nothing exciting. I never leave bad reviews , but this was unacceptable. I will never recommend it. I'll never go there again. The park is dirty the water is dirty . When you call they never answer and if they do, they hang up on you I mean, I could keep going, but this sums it up. read more

This is a great out of the city place to just relax and hang out with family. Be sure to bring your own everything as they do not provide anything. This includes: tables, chairs, food, grill, etc. This "park" reminded me a lot of Banana Bend. Reason for 3 stars: the lake/river where the sand is before you reach the water was pretty dirty. They obviously hadn't picked up any of the trash in some time. Also, rules are not enforced such as no glass bottles, no diapers in the water, and no pets. We encountered all of that when we were there. My main pet peeve is when parents bring their children into the water with a full diaper. Obviously this isn't the cleanest water to be swimming in, but a full diaper being immersed in the water just grosses me out. The music can be pretty loud too, as there aren't any rules for that. It won't be just one music playing either.....they will be playing on a small stage, the people next to you will have their music blaring and the people driving will have theirs blaring as well. If you plan on coming here, I would recommend coming early as it will likely be less crowded. We arrived around 1pm and the entire park was filled with cars already. My husband, his co-worker and I witness someone drowned here on Sunday 8/26/18. We always load off at Riverside Inn Marina & Restaurant and ride jet-skis down the San Jacinto river. It is very important that you wear a life vest at Magnolia Gardens Park it doesn't matter if the water is waist deep. One minute it can waist deep and in one second it can be 30 feet deep. Two years ago my husband rescued a little girl and man that had been drowning. I stress please just wear a life vest its not worth it to lose your life. Its heart breaking to see someone so young lose their life. The guy that passed had to be around 20-24 years old. THE WORST! We went as a group of 4 to rent jetskis and they were the most unorganized place I have ever rented from. We basically had to help them rent us out a jetski bc they couldn't comprehend we wanted the next available jetski. 1. They charged me extra BC they only had a big jetski available which wastes more gas so I was like ok fine. 2. When I got on the max speed was 30 which was EXTREMELY SLOW so I went back and asked for a different one and he said there wasn't another available one but said for $25 extra he'll give me the "fast key". I was like why not give me that one in the first place and he said it was bc it wastes gas...which made me mad bc then why was I already paying extra at the beginning if they gave me the slow key. He ended up giving it to me anyways since I asked for a full refund and could see I was fed up. 3. They cut our hour by 15 min to HELP THEM put up THEIR jetskis and made us walk all the way back... !!!!!!!!!THE WORST TRIP I HAVE EVER BEEN ON!!!! read more

It's a Great location, but with all the money they make , they can provide better Restrooms then a shack with stalls and no doors, no toilet seats, not vents, no running water to wash hands with soap , no sinks. My family took a vacation to Houston and I must say this was our best spot we spent a good 5 hours here just playing and having fun in the sun and water. Please do be aware it is dirty from people not being able to pick behind themselves or even females throwing their female products in the water as soon as we saw that we did leave but we still enjoyed our selfies I hope this place is able to get better control of the littering. I had never heard of this place. Never been to this place. Don't know if I'll be back either. Its a private property turned "beach", but not really. Entrance fee is $7 for adults. There's sand and access to the San Jacinto River, some trees and some small little cabanas that are falling apart. There's also some bathrooms and open shower areas. I did not like this place because there is trash everywhere. There are not nearly enough trashcans for this larger property, thus people just leave their trash on the park and in the water. I saw a couple of people patrolling the park but I saw nobody picking up trash. Additionally there are no glass containers allowed in the property, but theres a lot of broken glass. I kept my shoes on when I saw the large quantity of glass on the sand, so I would not recommend walking around barefoot. There's no fishing allowed, and there's loud music playing from their "DJ booth" area, and you can hear the music all over the property. The only thing i enjoyed about my experience is that the water quality is not as terrible as I expected and on sunny days it looks like you might get a good tan here. read more

This is a really good place to go with your family! They do have very poor quality restrooms there is no light in the restroom theres spiders all over the restrooms and bee hives they got showers outside which is public the water of the shower is cold. The lake is at a good temperature and it may look dirty but it's because the floor is sand i would recommend to bring water shoes because there might be glass and a life jacket because you can walk on the water and the water isn't deep but in a few seconds the water can be really deep there is trash at the water and they don't allow pets today 6/8/19 a 16 year old male kid died because he drowned you got to be careful they don't allow glass you need to bring everything they only have picnic tables and poor grills i have always went there as a child and I've always had a great experience there I recommend you to go there : theres a sign that says adults: 7 kids: 3 but they do tell you adults 8$ and kids 4$ read more
