"Where everyone has a seat at the table" is their slogan however if you do not have a reservation, you do not have a seat at the table. They sit you on high chairs like little children and you're facing a wall with absolutely no entertainment and no visualization of anything exciting that is happening within the restaurant. The food was otherwise pretty decent, my big burger was cooked more than me walking through the Sahara. The farmer's breakfast was good (but it's difficult to mess up eggs, bacon, and potatoes). I'd come here again, possibly.

Great breakfast stop. Quick and friendly service. Food came out really really fast. And with that it was a little cold. But it was very tasty. To start I had the strawberry margarita to celebrate my day off of work. It was very tasty and just the right amount of strawberry flavor. Refreshing. Since I was dining solo I didn't get any appz. I got the farm eggs Benedict and like I said the flavors were all good but wish it was as a little warmer. But it was a great portion. I ate it all! This was my first dinning experience here. There are lots of tables and the atmosphere is open and welcoming. After my meal I went to the take away area and got the lemon lavender donut holes to take home to the husband. And I grabbed a chai latte with oatmilk to keep me going for my warrants of the day. The drink was comforting and warm and the chai was perfect. Later I tried the donut holes. And oh wow they were amazing!

I like the size of these cups.

Like the Silos at Magnolia, the brand is somewhere between "minimalist hipster industrial farmer", and this is the only Texas Historic Landmark that sells pimento grilled cheese. It's a landmark because the Spanish Colonial building, once home to the Elite Cafe, was the first in Waco to have air conditioning and Elvis was a regular when he was stationed at Ft. Hood, as depicted in the mural. Other than the mural, there's not much to see other than an unimpressive selection of grab-and-go items and some knick-knacks. I found some that looked like boobies. I guess they are knick-knockers.

Finally had the chance to try this spot and we weren't disappointed. A reservation is a must; even during heavy rain, the crowd still gathered as expected. It's definitely a busy joint, not a chill, relaxed brunch spot. However the staff was prepared and service was super fast. It was impressive that our entire order was ready in less than 10 minutes. We loved our meal. The crunch French toast was fantastic, the flakes were a nice touch that stood out. The breakfast sandwich was fulfilling, I liked that the croissant was firm and flaky. Overall a solid spot. We'd come back if we're visiting Magnolia.

Food was delicious! Huge fan of Joanna and Chip so it was cool to get to taste the food from her restaurant and the interior she designed. The biscuits were amazing and something I loved and want to get more of. I got the Southern Style Benedict and it was absolutely delicious and something I'd get again. I heard it is seasonal so definitely come get try it before it goes away! The French toast was light and fluffy and tasty in every bite! Experience was great and the servers were sweet! Everything was amazing!

If you're in town looking for something to eat or experience all of Waco popular spots... come visit! There's a gift shop that sells some items from the Silo market! Modern Farm house vibes. The food didn't stand out but the strawberry spread for toast sure did! I think they even sell it! It's a whipped light fluffy texture. Good came out room temperature. Excellent table service.

We had brunch at Magnolia Table and the food and service were good. We didn't feel like they had anything extraordinary on the menu, but what we got was tasty. Not sure if they would have nearly as much business if they were not related to Chip and Joanna Gaines.

Slider Trio (salt bomb, I could not finish)

My family had brunch here this past weekend. The location is a bit sketchy has nothing nice in the immediate surrounding area. We visited the rest of the Magnolia Farm plaza later and it's much nicer. The building itself is super cute and really we done from a renovation standpoint. It was a bit noisy inside but for a casual, brunch setting, I was okay with it. The service was very good. We had: Biscuits w/ 4 butter samplers (4.5/5) - The biscuits were delicious. We unanimously liked the same 2 butters (the regular and berry). The other two (cinnamon and one other berry one), we thought were too strongly flavored. Slider Sampler (2.5/5) - For me, this was a miss. A total salt bomb. I ate 2 of the 3 but could not eat the last one. The two I ate were both super salty, and given the overriding saltiness, I could not tell much flavor difference between the two. Side of Seasoned Fries (3.5/5) - Not as bad as the sliders, but these were very salty as well. Probably worth visiting once as a tourist, I would probably not go back for just the food.

My husband and I were in Austin for a weekend in December so we drove to Waco for the day and ate here for my birthday lunch! We were placed on the waitlist and waited only 10-15 minutes before being seated. We ordered the Iced Cranberry Green Tea, Jo's Buttermilk Biscuit, Basket of House Fries, Taco Breakfast, Side of Thick-Cut Bacon, and the Slider Flight. Food heaven - we loved everything we ordered and our leftovers still tasted great for dinner. Whatever aioli came with the fries was delicious! I wish I remembered our server's name because he was so attentive and made our experience here so great!

I'm updating my review since the last time we've been here. Magnolia Table is still my favorite restaurant to visit whenever we're in Waco. The staff are always friendly and the food here is amazing!! We came back last Friday to celebrate my birthday. I was so happy to find out that they now take reservations using the Open Table app. It was super easy to use and I booked my reservation a few weeks prior to getting into Waco. We were greeted by the friendly hostess who seated us promptly since we had reservations. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. I ordered the breakfast sandwich and my husband ordered the farm breakfast. We ordered the kids breakfast for our 3 year old which came with pancakes, scrambled eggs and bacon. We also ordered a side of biscuits with strawberry jam. We got our food hot and made fresh to order. The croissant sandwich was filling and delicious. The croissant was super fluffy and light. Everything was perfect!!! Our son told us that he loved his pancakes. Our waiter came by frequently to check on us and make sure everything was made to our liking. 10/10 recommend for their high quality service and food. We will be sure to continue to keep coming back again and again whenever we're in Waco.

Great experience! Our waitress was super friendly and helpful. The food was fresh and delicious. This place is huge and the tables are stacked in, so you are sitting very close to your neighbor tables. The food quality is certainly worth the price and on brand with the company.

    Farm Breakfast

Our visit on Juneteenth was fabulous. We weren't able to make a reservation but were able to get seated in 20 min after being told it might be an hour wait. We started with the delicious deviled eggs and were surprised to get several full strips of juicy candy bacon, yum!! I fully enjoyed the Farm Breakfast since the strawberry butter on my biscuit was to die for! The eggs and bacon were delicious as well, and I skipped the potatoes (a bit dry). My daughter loved the tomato soup with her Mordello sandwich saying the pistachio pesto had a wonderful flavor. Definitely worth the stop on our way through Waco!

    Lavender Lemon Lavender Donut Holes

This was my 2nd visit here as we were on a roadtrip. Started with the Lavender Lemon donut holes. They were delicious. If you're a lavender lemon fan, You must try. I then opted for the Kind Breakfast, Greens were fresh and PLENTIFUL with the perfect amount of vinaigrette. Scrambled eggs were cooked well, the avocado slices were perfectly ripe, as was the huge slices of heirloom tomatoes. I added 2 slices of bacon.. I do wish they offered Turkey sausage. My husband had the biscuits- best he has ever had, roasted potatoes- not greasy and scrambled eggs and bacon. He thought the restaurant would be just a lot of hype because of who owns it, but was really impressed with the food. Will definitely return. I do recommend reservations.

In particular the deviled eggs and Brussels sprouts caught my eye, unfortunately the latter was sold out so I went with the sweet potato Both dishes I had were really good! The candied bacon paired really nicely with the creamy deviled egg, the hot sauce vinaigrette didn't add too much flavor, but honestly adding a significant amount of heat would've probably taken away from an already very tasty dish. The baked sweet potato on the other hand had a nice dose of heat from the Calabrian honey vinaigrette, the sweet heat combo worked really, I'm surprised I'd never come across a spicy sweet potato dish before, but I'll definitely have my eye out for it in the future Overall I had a very good experience and will definitely be back for future rest stop meals between Austin and Dallas!

For our entrees we had the Golden Calf Burger w/ sweet potato fries and sriracha aioli and The Weight of Glory Sandwich w/ broccoli slaw. They were both incredibly flavorful and fresh! You can tell they locally source their ingredients and prepare them onsite. The portions are also plentiful, and we left with a takeout box. To round off lunch we tried the special mousse on the specials board (coffee flavored cheesecake mousse). It was so delightful we dug in before I could snap a pic. Just enough coffee flavor paired with chocolate sauce (not hersheys ). The big windows allow for a lot of natural light and lends to a welcoming and warm environment. Off its first appearance, the restaurant appears as your classic no-frills, get-what-you-asked for establishment. There is lots of outdoor seating, very fair pricing, and a surprisingly extensive menu; I doubt you'll fail to find something you enjoy here. Overall it seemed like a location that would be bumping in conjunction with Baylor college nights, post church service, or otherwise Waco-oriented affairs. My only complaint was really the smell. We came near close when some workers were cleaning, however there was an apparent chemical stench within the patio, between the inside seating and outdoor seating. My partner ordered the sausage po boy, while I ordered the fried chicken plate, wish mashed potatoes & gravy + green beans. The wait was rather long, which can be attributed towards the chicken's cook time - which might be front scratch. After we got our plates, I certainly couldn't complain. The chicken was decently sized and decadent with flavor. Consistent, strong Cajun spicing littered the tray and chicken, while its interior was extremely juicy and filled with flavor; additionally, it still maintained structure and provided a nice crunch on the surface. The mashed potatoes were equally as enjoyable. The gravy complemented the potatoes well, and established an equilibrium through texture. The green beans however, were not my favorite. They initially appeared fine on the surface, but became watered down and lacking in flavor the farther down the bowl you went. I would not be surprised if these beans were canned. I would certainly find myself eating here again. Its biggest appeals are the prices, genuine quality of food, and disposition. It is not perfect, but it is more than satisfactory. If you cannot get over the minor inconveniences that you may run into here, then you probably shouldn't be eating Cajun anyways.
