The tech arrived as expected and was nice (so 2 stars instead of 1), but soon after left. Then I was called by the Weber office who said that they would not complete the repair because there were "tiny bugs" in the crawlspace and that I 'MUST hire an exterminator BEFORE they would complete any work.' This was the first time I had heard anything about tiny bugs; not form my tenants nor even after a home inspector for the buyers had conducted their inspection (hence finding the dishwasher leak). Weber's requirement for me was surprising, so I promptly called Roto Rooter who came out and fixed the issue, start to finish, in 5 hours - without a single mention of any bugs. When I told Weber's office that I was not hiring them, they charged me $180+ for "checking the leak" and "temporarily stopping the leak." They did this over the phone as the tech didn't provide any invoice before leaving. The Roto Rooter tech didn't note any actual work conducted. Of course, it almost looks like the $187 charge is spiteful in nature and retaliatory. I live out of state and (graciously) offered to pay via credit card, which they did not accept. Instead, they asked for payment by check as the only option. For clarity, I would have 100% hired Weber until they placed this ridiculous (imo) exterminator requirement on me, and made it clear they "would not do the work unless one was hired". I told them right away 'thanks, but no thanks' and got hit with this bill for doing the same thing that not running the dishwasher does for a dishwasher leak. Explaining to the office that they are the ones in the wrong is also fruitless, as they continue to regularly call and email for a check (and each time I offered cc), and say my message will be relayed to Mr. Weber. So.. yea... we had Weber out and they refused to do the work and they still charged $187 to watch our dishwasher stop running. Also, I definitely saved hundreds by going with RR comparing both companies' initial quotes (even before including the cost of an exterminator). Since we are being charged as a customer, it only felt right to leave a review. 2 out of 5 stars as a plumber; 3 out of 5 stars as an exterminator. Wouldn't recommend.

More than a week later I get a call from a representative acting as if the call was timely. I declined the company's service. I then proceeded to contact a big box store to utilize one of their contractors to get my AC work done. To my dismay it was a representative from Victory Bros / Victory Skaggs, that returned my call from the big box store. I proceeded to inform the representative what had transpired already between us. The representative acted like he was concerned and said he would correct the issue. I have not heard from them since. This company now goes by the name of Victory Skaggs.

Adam on the other hand, is able to provide a free estimate through text so you know what to expect prior to scheduling an appointment. The estimates I received were between $625 & $675. That was for labor only, supplies would be extra. I called Ed Ferry and was told they wouldn't know if the sink needed to be removed until they saw it. It ended up they needed to move the pedestal a little to reach behind it but they did not need to remove the sink from the wall. The charge for labor was about 1/2 the other quotes. The two men that came were very professional. They put covers over their shoes before entering and cleaned everything up before they left. I would definitely recommend this plumber.

I was quoted 1838 dollars for the maintenance When looking at the facts on time and material I find the following: Maintenance Kit Cost: Genuine Weil-McLain AquaBalance Annual Maintenance Kits (typically containing gaskets, an ignitor, and a flame sensor) are widely available online for $147.00 to $257.00. Labor Time: The manufacturer advises that a complete preventative maintenance procedure should take approximately 2 to 2.5 hours. Even if charging 200 dollars and hour and a premium kit price ($250), a fair total would be approximately $650 to $750. The quote of $1,838 is nearly triple the high-end estimate. Precharging 125 dollar up front , plus fees and taxes bringing it to over 135 dollars and stating it is required and never having even recieved what the possible fees they charges are is unscrupulous when they are charging over 3X the national average, and when i called for a refund on the estimate stating this i was outright refused. If i could give ZERO stars i would!!
