Our condo association hired these guys to repair spauling damage to our complex. Our unit had…read morespauling issues in the outside concrete walls. One area is framed (not concrete) and a previous stucco patch was loose so the workers poured concrete in the stud wall encapsulating the plumbing. That was my first clue these workers (young kids) don't really know what they are doing. He also did a very poor job making our stucco pattern with his patches. I have had several people comment on how it looks like something their child could have done better with. They also sit around smoking for the first 30 minutes of each day before they get started working. There was spauling damage in each room but the guys missed one area. I discovered it the day before the guys were finishing up and asked them to repair it. Not sure how they could have missed it since the weeds were growing up between the concrete and stucco. The owner came out to look at it and basically accused me of lying about the electrical outlet in the area of the damage not working. He begrudgingly sent his worker back to tear open the wall, which revealed rusted conduit that needed to be repaired. Once we had the electrical repaired we asked them to come complete the wall repair. They said they just started a new job so they couldn't come for 2 more months, which was surprising since it was a small job that could have been done in less than a day and they do have multiple crews. After waiting the 2 months with a hole in our livingroom wall they said they had just started another job and couldn't do it for awhile longer. Then one day they said they were available right now, so I literally dropped what I was doing and ran home. The worker came and opened the hole even more and got it ready to pour concrete the next day. I asked him if they would be parging the area around the hole where it had crumbled so the wall would be an even surface again? He said he would be back the next day to pour the hole. The next day they didn't show up. Instead the owner informed our property management company that they would not be completing our job since I was wanting them to do more work (fill in the wall so it was even). This left us with a huge hole in our living room wall for several more months until I found Hawaii Masonry to finish the job. I'm sure Tamarock had already been paid for the whole job by then so he obviously didn't care to finish the job. The other day another contractor, who is familiar with the history of our complex, pointed out where Tamarock had previously made spauling repairs and there is now new damage only after about 6 years. He flat out told us the owner is a crook. Currently Tamarock is working on another building in our complex and Hawaii Masonry is tiling our lanai. The Hawaii Masonry's worker tells me the Tamarock worker was bad mouthing us to him and that he told him he hasn't had a problem with us. Now Tamarock is working above our unit and the owner approached me like nothing had happened. I informed him of all our grievances with him and his workers but he choose to make excuses and blame our property manager and us . No apology. In my experience their customer service, craftsmanship and integrity are highly lacking. Save yourself a lot of grief hire another company.

The new Terrazo finish was absolutely gorgeous and even better than what I expected. They showed up to work on time, was always courteous, reliable and professional, not to mention neat and tidy. They moved plants out of the way along the driveway and put everything back when their work was done. They always cleaned up at the end of the day when they were done working. I must say Bailey is very particular about his work and will make sure it's done right and that the owner is happy with the finished product. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tamarock Masonry. Don't bother to call anyone else, they are your go to company for beautiful work!
