Came home on a hot day and my ac was blowing warm air. I didn't know what to do or whom to call, being our last experience with one of the big boy ac service company's didn't go so well. Looking out my window (as luck would have it) I saw a Mahle Cool Air & Heating truck working on my neighbors house cross the way. I looked them up on Yelp and saw they had a lot of 5 stars and were 3rd in the ranking. I gave them a call, spoke to a real nice lady (didn't get her name) told her my situation and asked for a service call as soon as possible. She asked if I had ever used them before and how did I hear about them. I told her I got their phone number off one of their trucks parked next door, she asked if the tech was still there, I said yes, she said go and talk to him and see if he can fit you in. I said really! So I did and with in 20 minutes I had ac. I mean the guy (Jeff) was a busy man with other scheduled work but he took time to fit me in right then and there. I can't say thanks enough. A few months ago I called Mahle Cool Air due to a problem with my thermostat. The gentleman on the phone was extremely knowledable and gave me precise directions on what to do to solve my problem over the phone. I was extremely impressed that this company did this without pushing for an appointment to come out and look at it. The problem was solved. Remembering their excellent service I contacted them again about three weeks ago and I found out that I definitely needed a new system. I also shopped around too but ended up with Mahle Cool Air to replace my A/C. I must say that these guys are so professional and they explained everything and answered all questions. They were great, friendly customer service, helpful and patient in explaining my options (humoring my excessive questioning) and got the unit installed quickly and without much hassle. We had a leak on a 21 year old AC system the same day we were having a large Memorial Day party on a weekend. Not a good thing on a summer day in Florida. Mr. Mahle and a technician came out within the hour, sealed the leak and pumped nine pounds of Freon into the system to tide us over until we could install a new energy efficient system. Party saved! Tuesday we had a new 5 ton Bryant energy efficient system installed and the Freon recovered, so no charge for that. I guess they are too busy and do not need new customers. Contacted them to schedule an install (our A.C is completely out) A week later contacted them again after no one got back with us. They never responded to us because they do not service Charlotte county, although their website says they do. They made no apologies and said we must be looking at "Tri County Air" website and not Mahle. But I was definitely looking at Mahle website and had called the phone number n the screen in front of me and tried to explain that, but she said Charlotte was out of the area for them. read more

Our AC quit several days ago. Our neighbor recommended Mahle but we wanted to get some bids. Got bids from 3 companies, including the guys with the systems for $2900.00 on their trucks. We they got done quoting the system was over $4300.00. Actually all bids were within $250, but we felt comfortable with the Mahle tech who did the bid. They came out 2 days later, were clean and professional. Made sure we were comfortable with using our new wireless thermostat before they left, which is just amazing. Had to call an HVAC company in the Nokomis area for an immediate response. They talked me through a few quick tests over the phone to make sure it wasn't something simple like a thermostat delay or a fan reset. The same guy was at my house in a half hour after we hung up the phone to make the necessary repairs. They do good work and the service is friendly. I was having problems with my unit Saturday morning, gave them a call, and a few minutes later a technician informed me that he was on his way. Have had multiple good experiences with Mahle Air. They replaced an AC unit in our Condo at the beach that was 30+ years old. They also replaced one of the AC units in our house and did a great job.
