I hired Spartan air to install a UV light in my HVAC system because they assured me it would prevent mold growth inside my A/C unit. However, not only was this completely misleading, but they also installed the UV light in the wrong spot, making it completely ineffective. Now, I have mold growing inside my air handler, exactly what I was trying to prevent! When I contacted them about their mistake, they refused to take responsibility. I now have to pay another company to fix their poor installation and properly address the mold problem. Their lack of knowledge, poor workmanship, and bad customer service have cost me time, money, and frustration. I was unsure of which air conditioning unit to get for my mobile home that I'd recently moved into from Indiana. Levi Courtney explained fully the difference between Mini Split and Central. As the duct work in my home was totally old, and "yukky", I decided on the Mini since there are no ducts involved at all,each unit has it's own remote, so I can keep my bedroom very cool, and the other bedroom and living room at their optimal temp.
