I had called probably 2 months prior to our arrival at our home in Dunedin. The day prior I…read morereceived a text confirming my appointment that I had totally forgotten about as I didn't put it on my calendar. They told me the tech would text me 30 mins prior to arrival and my window was 8am-11am. I received a text from Angel around 9am and he and the other tech were at our place in 25 minutes. So far so good. I showed/explained our unit and Angel began a pretty intense inspection of our ducts/system with pictures. He advised the condition and what he thought would be a good plan. He didn't pressure or try to upsell anything, just advice. I believe if we went with the standard straight forward duct cleaning he would have performed it in the same manner. We chose deep clean and sanitization as our vents did have construction debris (YUP) way down the line as well as other things we saw in the pictures that we felt should be done fully and sanitized as well. They were extremely efficient and you didn't know they were there other than the hum of their tools. Start to finish took maybe 90-120 minutes and he showed after pics of each vent/return. At the end he gave us advice on our filter, pointed out an air gap from the installation that I took care of as well as pointing out that our outdoor unit MAY have a fan issue. Called our a/c guy and it certainly did!!!! We will DEFINITELY use them for future cleanings.

They did what they said they would do and were courteous and professional…read more They coordinated the job around my schedule so my business would not be interrupted.

My husband received a text message on 6-24-26 to call to have our dehumidifier looked at. Yesterday…read moreI received a message on Yelp about my comment regarding Abbott Air. First, I want to say when Xavier came, he said no such thing about he was only there to get the AC running. The dehumidifier is attached to the AC unit in the attic so how is this not all connected? And when he came to tell us he got the AC unit running we were told he shut the breaker to the dehumidifier and the AC started running with cooler air. Second, Sunday morning at 6: am I looked at the dehumidifier thermostat on the wall under my AC thermostat to see the Dehumidifier was running. My husband went to look at the breaker to find it was NOT SHUT OFF. Doing my own research on the Aprilaire with all the hot, humid weather we were having the DEHUMIDIFIER probably froze. Especially after it came on Sunday by itself. But was supposed to be OFF. So, it took Abbott Air to respond to us about our dehumidifier almost a week and only because I made my post on Yelp? What kind of customer service is that? Do not make excuses for the weather and your techs being overwhelmed with calls. We should have had a call on Monday as we were told by your customer service department, but we did not. OR you should have had a tech to our house on Monday to look at the dehumidifier. IF at that time we were told a part had to be ordered waiting is something we could accept but being totally ignored, NO. We spent a lot of money on new equipment with Abbott Air 2024 and 2025 up to $14,000. I am not looking for being a special customer with you and I am sure there are many other customers who have spent more with Abbott Air, but when a customer calls and needs service it should be followed through. If a tech is not qualified to fix a piece of equipment, then it should be called in to the appropriate tech and be followed up immediately not a week later. If you sell equipment and install that equipment, then you best better have the correct TRAINED tech to work on it. TRAINING VERY IMPORTANT.
