I would give it 4 stars, however, there's a few things that make me give it 3 stars. Some of the reasons include: Don't go on a hot day. It can get very hot/humid inside due to no air conditioning, only fans. Sometimes the man at the counter can be kind of rude. Sometimes things are overpriced. Due to it being vendors that sell there, he "rarely" lowers anything for anyone, so the price is the price. Otherwise, I think it's a great antique store with a wonderful selection, and it's a great place to visit on a day that's not hot or a day that's cold and rainy and I love to come here and will continue to do so!

I've seen stuff in Lewes Mercantile that I've seen in other antique stores for way way less than what Lewes is selling it for. And on top of that, the employees have not been very nice to me. I once asked if they have/ever get a certain item in and both ladies working at the counter quickly snapped and said no. Like any antique store though, they do have some deals, but rarely. I am just really sad to see this and I really wish it was way better. I am totally good with giving them a second chance if they improve, as I would LOVE an antique store downtown that had some deals! He had almost as much fun as I did exploring all they had to offer. He found this wonderful antique store just outside of Bethany and we are so very glad we stopped on our way home from the beach!
